Safari Island Maldives is located in the Heart of North Ari Atoll, Republic of Maldives. The Size of the Island is approximately 30,000 Square meters. The Island is surrounded by a white powdery, sandy beach and crystal clear water lagoon, and a house reef which is attractive for snorkeling and Diving with attractive diving points.

Safari Island Maldives holds a total of 30 Maldivian types of thatched, detached beach bungalows, 15 Semi Water Bungalows, and 39 Water Bungalows. All the rooms are beachfront and have a sea view.

Shaded with a magnificent white roof, and floating over the lagoon the main restaurant is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in an all-you-can-eat buffet style with various international and regional cuisines to please everyone’s taste.

Lagoon Restaurants

Shaded with a magnificent white roof, and floating over the lagoon the main restaurant is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in an all-you-can-eat buffet style including lively Theme Nights. Sunday night dinner is Maldivian/Asian night with a themed menu and Soups, bread and desserts are homemade and the fresh, tropical fruits are delicious. The buffet lines also include live-action, cooking stations in which our chefs prepare your food to your preference.

Palm bar

Floating in the turquoise lagoon next to the main restaurant is the island bar where guests can enjoy drinks and leisure time. Open from morning until the last guest leaves, the bar also invites guests for daily happy hour (18:00 hrs – 19:30 hrs) with a 20% discount on all drinks. The bar has a Live Band performance once every 2 weeks on Monday.

Sun Down Bar

The sundown bar on a wooden deck with a view of the stunning lagoon turns into grand stairs at sundown when nature paints a different scene every dusk. The golden sun sinks beneath the horizon casting a multitude of orange, red, and pink hues across the sky and there is no place better to enjoy the show than at the sundown bar, accompanied by a drink or two.

Pool bar

The bar offers drinks & snacks. The pool bar is open: from 10:00 hrs – 22:00 hrs. Pool bar hosts a crab race every Tuesday night from 21:00 hrs – 22:30 hrs

Transfer

Seaplane

Baggage allowance is 25kg and 5kg hand luggage (subject to change without prior notice). Any excess luggage is chargeable and will have to be paid directly to the transfer provider.
In the event of Force Majeure, the arrival and departure transfers may not be arranged at scheduled times resort is not liable for any compensation claims due to such delays.
Seaplane operates only during daylight hours (0600 hrs – 1600 hrs). Hence, guests arriving on international flights will be required to check in at the seaplane counter in the international arrivals terminal before 16.00 hrs in order to be able to transfer to the resort on the same day or they will require overnight accommodation in Malé. They will be transferred to the lodge the following morning.

Très bon hôtel 4 étoiles sur ari nord.|Transfert en hydravion, accueil à l'hôtel c'était très bien, le personnel est vraiment sympa.|Le bungalow pilotis très spacieux, bien équipé. Accès direct à la mer, le coucher de soleil magnifique.|La piscine est petite mais agréable si ont à des petits enfants.|Le buffet est simple mais varié, les plats sont très bons, la fraîcheur du poisson top.|Merci pour les kiwis et les légumes 🙏👍|Le snorkeling est très bon, beaucoup de choses à voir et surtout du gros.|Tout est là.|Beaucoup d'excursions à des prix très corrects. |Vraiment je conseil cet hôtel pour les personnes qui veulent faire du snorkeling, farniente plage. Se reposer sans bling bling..|Hâte de revenir avec ma famille pour leurs faire découvrir cet hôtel 🥰

We have been to the Maldives multiple times and this island is gorgeous and ranks very highly on our list. The house reef is fantastic, with lots of fish, sharks, rays, (both Eagle and sting) and turtles. Beware the Titan trigger fish they are a tad angry, 😄. The food was amazing, the staff were wonderful. All 3 bars were fantastic, with a different atmosphere in each one, very chilled and relaxed. The beaches were stunning, sea lovely and warm. Our room was traditional in style and felt luxurious and we could walk straight out onto the beach. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn't want to leave. The only slight negative would be that we got bitten by insects more than usual, although the resort did fumigate every day. Could just be bad timing as there was a little bit more rain and stormy weather than previous visits.

Safari Island eine wunderschöne kleine Insel. Ideal zum entspannen. Tolles Hausriff (erstaunlich intakt, obwohl auch hier leider Spuren des Tourismus zu entdecken sind). Grosse Fischvielfalt und Schildkröten. Viele kleine Riffhaie, aber in der Nähe des Restaurants auch die grösseren Ammenhaie. Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals ist einmalig, Essen abwechslungsreich und für jeden etwas dabei. Einfach nur traumhaft und immer wieder gerne!

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff on Safari island. Everything was perfect - if I have to be critical in areas there’s room for improvement (woods very worn). But I personally felt it added to the charm and real remote Island feel. Had a semi water bungalow and three steps out back door on beach and steps down into the ocean off a private sun deck other side. Great option of food and drink and real feeling of paradise and happiness all around. Went on dolphin sunset cruise and saw pods swimming off our island and regularly small reef sharks and 100s of fish around our bungalow. It feels like your in heaven

Eine traumhafte Insel mit ausgesprochen netten zuvorkommenden Personal! Ein Schnorcheltraum trotz teils kaputten Korallenbänken. Sehr schöne Ausflüge buchbar ( Manta, Walhai und Co ) gegen Bezahlung und unvergesslich! Verpflegung ist ausgesprochen gut ( mein Empfinden!) . Gehört zu meinen Favoriten auf den Malediven!

My husband and I have just come back from a fabulous holiday. We stayed in a beach bungalow with direct access onto the beautiful beach and straight into the sea. Our bungalow was kept clean and tidy, towels replenishedevery day and even a bowl to clean your sandy feet changed every morning and left with tropical flowers floating in it. |The snorkeling was amazing. Lots of tropical fish to see - and reef sharks! We took our own snorkels but there were some available to use during your stay.|The food was amazing. Very varied and fresh. We were spoilt for choice at every meal. We particularly enjoyed the salads and the curries. Our table and waiter were the same throughout the stay and he was very attentive and friendly. We were full board as we aren't big drinkers. We found the prices of drinks to be reasonable with plenty of cocktails to choose from.|The staff on the Island are very friendly and we couldn't fault any of them.|The weather whilst we were there was wonderful and so different to the predicted forecast so don't worry if it says rain. We had hardly any rain in the day but it did rain at night - sometimes quite heavily with a wind. This did cause an issue with erosion around our villa but sandbags were always replaced when needed to protect the villa and beach.|Fabulous stay would not hesitate to recommend 🥰

Premetto che siamo stati alle Maldive in altri resort di cui non ho nulla da dire se non i complimenti… questa volta.. NO!!|Per farla breve… posto carino ma vecchio, con delle illuminazioni tipo anni 70.. ma fin qui va bene, ci può stare.|Il cibo così così, si può migliorare l qualità , ma i camerieri molto gentili e disponibili.|NOTA DOLENTE.|Manager di reception e probabilmente anche i loro capi che non sanno assolutamente far sentire a proprio agio gli ospiti che pagano profumatamente le vacanze presso il|Resort… ma non solo… ti dicono che un’Escursione è offerta perché fatta in maniera pessima e invece te la ritrovi nel conto… la seconda invece , mi sono accorto che hanno applicato la tariffa da adulto anche per mio figlio di 11 anni… con la bellezza di 70 dollari di differenza … per un’escursione catastrofica durata 5 min in acqua e 2 ore in barca alla ricerca di uno squalo balena che era presente nella direzione opposta , ma per impazienza del capitano, rientrati al resort anzitempo … UNA CATASTROFE! |Ma la cosa più triste è che i manager dell’albergo non fanno nulla per scusarsi o un gesto carino (almeno per mio figlio) e questo davvero scredita molto una struttura alberghiera che dovrebbe fornire svago e servizi !|Ho fatto altre escursioni con mio figlio solo 1 su 3 posso dire carina… |Quindi oltre ad aver pagato più del dovuto, trattato a pesci in faccia, nessuna rimostranza o atto di gentilezza verso di noi.|Davvero, con il cuore, non lo consiglio per nulla, alle Maldive c’è molto meglio per il prezzo che pagate in questa struttura! |CATASTROFE!

Wir waren als Paar 4 Nächte im Safari Island und übernachteten im Semi Waterbungalow. Hatten Halbpansion mit Wasserflugzeug hin und zurück gebucht. Positives zu erwähnen: - Die ruhigen und sauberen Strände und eine schöne kleine Insel - Das Semi Waterbungalow hatte eine gute Einrichtung und der direkte Steg mit dem Zugang ins Meer war fantastisch - Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und die Badetücher sowie alle anderen benutzten Tücher wurden ersetzt, Danke an den lieben Herrn der jeden Tag mit einem riesen lächeln seine Arbeit erledigt hat! - Im Allgemeinen waren alle Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich,zuvorkommend und waren motiviert - Es gab ein Offenes Buffet wo jedermann/jedefrau etwas zu essen finden konnte - wir haben haie, rochen und viele fische gesehen was uns sehr gefreut hat Negatives zu erwähnen: - Aufgrund der Halbpansion mussten wir jedes Getränk jede zusätzliche Dienstleistung separat bezahlen was kein Problem war. Aber man hat leider bei einigen Mitarbeitern gemerkt wie sie reagiert haben als sie hörten das wir Halbpansion haben. Z.b haben sie uns gebeten schon aufzustehen bei einem Tisch wo es hiess man kann hier bleiben, oder noch bevor wir unser Getränk getrunken haben gab es schon den Beleg zum unterschreiben. Es ist wichtig das alles dokumentiert wird aber man fühlte sich ständig beobachtet und konnte den moment nicht geniessen. Als würden wir die Insel verlassen ohne zu bezahlen. - Es gibt kein farbiges Riff oder Corallen es ist leider alles sehr bräunlich auf dem Meeresgrund. An manchen Tagen roch es nach Kanalisation. - Es gibt leider wenige Aktivitäten die man auf der Insel machen kann. Fitnessraum, Tischtennis und Beachvolleyball. Kostenpflichtige Aktivitäten sind Tauchen und Schnorcheln mit dem Team ausserhalb der Insel, Ausflüge und Massagetermine. - Wir hatten eine Thai Öl Massage für 50 Minuten für (80 Dollar pro Person ohne Zusätzliche Service Gebühren) was uns an diesem Tag sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Ambiente, die Räumlichkeiten und das sehr liebe Personal. Leider hatte ich an dem Abend und darauffolgend solche Nackenbeschwerden was wirklich nicht mehr normal anfühlte. - Was uns sehr enttäuscht hat ist der Service den wir am letzten Tag unserer Abreise hatten. Wir mussten um 12:00 Uhr das Zimmer verlasen und mussten 3 Stunden auf das Wasserflugzeug warten. Wir hätten für 64 Dollar das Zimmer bis maximum 14:00 Uhr verlängern können aber was hätte das gebracht. Es ist bekannt das viele Gäste schon genug lange Rückreise haben, deshalb verstehe ich den Grund des frühen verlassens des Zimmers leider nicht. Damit wir die Zeit vertreiben konnten warteten wir an der Bar und in der Lobby. Wir hatten 2 Nackenkissen, 1 Pullover an der Rezeption abgegeben. Die Addidas Jacke in der es Airpods hatten wir auf dem Weg zur Rezeption dem Herrn der unser Koffer transportiert hat gegeben. Es ist zum Teil auch unser Fehler das wir vor der Abreise zum Wasserflugzeug nicht nochmal daran gedacht haben das wir diese erwähnten Dinge noch holen sollten. Aber das Personal meinte bei der Abgabe diese können wir hierlassen und die geben uns die zurück. Leider ist dies nicht geschehen und wir haben nicht mal eine Info erhalten, hey ihr habt euche Sachen vergessen. Echt Schade… Wir würden das Resort trotzdem weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns bei den stets freundlichen Personal :)
