Varu review
Words cannot begin to describe how much we absolutely loved our stay at Varu by Atmosphere. From the amazing food, to the breathtaking views and outstanding quality of every aspect of the resort, Varu went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the main reasons our stay was so incredible was the staff who soon enough made us feel like they were friends. They made us feel so so welcome and catered to our every need. It wouldn’t feel fair to not name them and they deserve every recognition.
At Bay Rouge, we experienced the best cocktails we had ever tasted from the creative and best bartenders Hemant and Chamila served to us by the most friendliest and hardworking individuals who would always know exactly what we wanted and would always ensure our glasses weren’t empty and snack bowls always full - Nalin, Nazur, Rishikesh, Yumnam and Magharita. Every single one of our evenings was so much fun with Nalin making us laugh, Hemant and Chamila making the tastiest drinks and Nazur taking the time to talk to us and make sure we were ok!
Moving on to the food, we just can’t fault chilli and lemon. From the serving staff, namely Subh who was exceptional as were Mohammed , Hidayat and Zain to check Fernando and Aisar the pizza chef who always took the time to speak to us and ensured the food was always 11/10.
Our favourite restaurant was Charcoal, managed so well by Nazur and big shout out to Nisha who was so good that she convinced us to eat there again! Even bigger shout out to Chef Vikas who made us the most incredible chicken kebabs and chicken main! The spices and quality of cook was nothing like I’ve had before!
Adam the life guard was another staff member who we can’t write this review without naming. I really wanted to see the sharks and sea life and he was always willing to take the time to show us this very thing. He told us times to come back and sure enough I did see the beautiful sharks and sea life!
Finally, our room and house keeper. Mamun was absolutely incredible, he would always come to see us twice a day to ensure our stay was comfortable. He took the time out to see exactly what we like and would always leave us the most magical towel designs!
On our final day, my husband was so unwell, and if it wasn’t for the Nisha and Nazur, he wouldn’t have recovered as fast as he did. Nazur made the most incredible ginger shot and Nisha made sure my husband was comfortable and looked after at all times - she even called managed to get him to see a doctor and eat some food which I was trying to do all night! She even gave me a break and let me go for lunch whilst her and Nazur ensured my husband was ok. Being unwell in another country is always horrible but the staff made it that much more bearable.
Overall, the resort was absolutely amazing, from the authentic decor, high quality service, cleanliness to the delicious variety of food. But I have to say, our trip would not have been as enjoyable without the outstanding staff we had met. We wish they all the very best and every recognition as they work so hard and provide the highest level of service. I have listed them out again below:
