Ci tornerei altre mille volte!
Vorteile: Il soggiorno in questa struttura è stato un vero sogno. Abbiamo prenotato il soggiorno condiviso, metà villa sulla spiaggia e l'altra metà delle notti nel villa sull'acqua. Le stanze sono straordinarie e sempre pulitissime (puliscono le camere anche due volte al giorno). Il personale è di una gentilezza disarmante e, per chi alloggia nella villa sull'acqua, il cibo del ristorante Azzurro è anche parecchio buono. Nota particolare per Larriu e Totti, due camerieri del ristorante Azzurro, sempre molto carini e cordiali. Infine, tutti i giorni alle 11 c'è la possibilità di fare una sessione di snorkeling gratuita, esperienza da fare assolutamente!
Nachteile: L'unica nota negativa del nostro soggiorno è stata una notte persa a causa del maltempo. La nostra partenza in idrovolante è stata ritardata, costringendoci a trascorrere la notte in attesa e a essere temporaneamente sistemati in un altro resort. All'interno di questo nuovo resort, abbiamo avuto la formula pensione completa anziché quella All Inclusive prenotata. Siamo arrivati ad Angsana solo la mattina successiva all'alba, intorno alle cinque. Sebbene sia consapevole che il ritardo non sia stato imputabile al resort, mi sarei aspettata una sorta di "compensazione" per la notte persa, magari sotto forma di un'escursione offerta.

Vorteile: Skvělý personál, čistota i jídlo bylo vynikající. Ubytování ve vodních vilách je skvělé, vily jsou velké, bazén se sladkou vodou, rybičky hned u vašeho mola. Skvělá organizace od příletu do Malé až opět po odlet z Malé- o nic se nemusíte starat nic hledat - vše je zařízeno

Vorteile: Hôtel majestueux excellent, villa Océane magnifique 😍, j’ai été avec ma maman handicapé en chaise roulante tout l’établissement est adapté et le personnel au petit soins avec maman et moi ! Vraiment un hôtel luxueux et mérite une étoile de plus !!!! Je vous le recommande les yeux fermé ! La nourriture et le staffe dans tout l’hôtel parfait merci pour tout !

A friendly resort with good food and nice room pools, but the scenery is not worth the cost.
Vorteile: The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was exquisite. I don't usually like eating buffet, however each dish at the buffet was exquisite, every day different food, that ended up eating mostly from the buffet rather then a la carte. Also, the staff are very helpful, all the time smiling and treat every one very well. They were very friendly with our 1 year old son. A special thanks goes to Zivaan Hussain, he made sure we were comfortable all the time. We were quite sick on our arrival with high fever, and he went out of his way to bring us hot water, with lemon and honey, to our table, to make us feel better. The beaches were nice, however not much corals and not much fish. Half of the beaches have dead coral with shallow waters which made it difficult or quite impossible to swim. We only saw some small sharks when there. In other Maldives resorts we saw much more fish like turtles, manta rays, different tropical fish, etc... We also thank the staff who changed our beach room when requested due to windy weather. The overwater villa was one of the largest we've stayed in within the maldives.
Nachteile: We didn't like that the island is just opposite a local inhabited island, therefore passing boat traffic is noticeable. Also, during our first few days, just across the beach, there was a big boat full of black garbage bags which was an eyesore. We asked what it was and we were told it was used to store garbage on it and that it would leave in a few days. It did leave, but it was very very visible from the island and it bothered me whilst it was there. Also, i was quite disappointed to see that on the best beach of the island, there was a big black machine pumping sand. Another big eyesore, even photos and pictures were ruined with this big black ugly thing in the middles of a beach. It looked like it was pumping drainage, obviously it was just pumping sand. But it was very ugly. We were told this machine was being used to pump sand as the island was shifting. It's true that it is needed, but the resort should give discounted prices with so many eyesores around. We paid EUR11K to stay on this island and we expected much better. Also, in the overwater villa, we had drainage overflowing from the floors in the toilet and shower. Our room stinked of drainage. I had to call 4 times to have the room cleaned, having a baby we did not want to risk infection. They are apparently aware of the problem since they told us the problem was fixed from outside. We enjoyed our stay, but also we were a bit disappointed for the price we paid. We expected better.

Vorteile: Alors nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans les villas sur l'eau et ensuite sur la terre ferme et je conseille vivement de faire comme cela pour profiter au max de tout, en effet les villas sont plus "privées" mais du coup y a pas grande chose à faire autre que le snorkeling, de l'autre côté sur la terre ferme moins de privacy mais énormément d'activitées.

Vorteile: Этой был мой 10й отдых на Мальдивах. Вернулась в этот отель второй раз, отдыхали с подругой. Все было организовано идеально начиная от встречи в аэропорту, трансфер на гидросамолете комфортый по времени ожидания. Жили как на острове, так и на водной вилле. Остров небольшой, но очень красивый, виллы уединенные, много зелени, идеальный белый песок, питание великолепное, выбор достойный, все свежее, все очень вкусно! Номер просторный, удобные матрас и есть выбор подушек. Есть развлечения на любой вкус, водный спорт, экскурсии, массаж. И нет никаких насекомых, средства от них не нужны) Ездили на китовую акулу, также встретили мант и дельфинов, за этими эмоциями невозможно не вернуться!!!! Все организовано великолепно!! Я ехала за снорклингом и отель учел абсолютно все мои пожелания и нам досталась лучшая водная вилла прямо у рифа🤩 За что я очень очень очень благодарна!!!🙏😻💔 Мы были вашими самыми счастливыми жителями!!!🫶🏻 Водная вилла просто потрясающая, в этой ценовой категории лучше вилл на Мальдивах просто нет!! Риф невероятный, много живых кораллов, скаты, черепахи, акулы, осьминоги, все виды рыб прямо у твоей виллы - невероятное удовольствие наблюдать это ежедневно!! Огромный номер со всем необходимым, включая гдадильную доску и утюг, роскошная отдельностоящая ванная с видом на закаты, огромный глубокий бассейн, сетка, потрясающая беседка с видом на океан, все продумано до мелочей! Минибар, уборка - все идеально!! И самое главное это персонал!!!! Ненавязчивые, внимательные к каждой просьбе, очень дружные и приятные в общении!! AUTENTICHE MALDIVE
Vorteile: Il punto mare è un sogno, il lato sunrise dell’isola offre la possibilità di fare snorkeling e ammirare pesci e coralli a pochi passi dalla spiaggia, mentre il lato sunset ha un punto mare da sogno, acqua cristallina e azzurra. Il buffet è di qualità, sopratutto piatti asiatici, cucinati a regola d’arte. Il bar della spiaggia offre la possibilità di pranzare o cenare scegliendo direttamente dal menu alla carta, qui si possono trovare anche piatti italiani e della cucina occidentale, cucinati e impiattati “da ristorante”. Inoltre, un’ampia carta per la scelta dei cocktail, tutti ottimi e preparati con cura (difficile da trovare quando si è in all inclusive). Le camere pulitissime (grazie a Nimal , discreto e preciso) e appartate consentono totale privacy e relax, esattamente quello che si cerca quando si scelgono le Maldive. Questa è la terza volta che abbiamo la fortuna di passare le nostre ferie alle Maldive, la prima volta che soggiorniamo qui e sicuramente in futuro questo resort sarà la nostra scelta.

Assistenza e personale di alto livello.
Vorteile: Siamo stati assistiti dall’arrivo fino alla partenza nei minimi particolari, non bisogna pensare a nulla è tutto organizzato dalla struttura. Un addetto in aeroporto ti accompagna fino all’aliscafo occupandosi dei biglietti e bagagli e lo stesso vale per la partenza fino al controllo passaporti. Il personale in struttura è cordialissimo e disponibile, si ricordano delle tue esigenze e le anticipano. Il buffet è abbastanza buono, ha un’impronta asiatica (non è un resort “italiano”) che a noi è piaciuta molto. Esiste comunque un ristorante alla carta incluso nella pensione completa. L’isola è molto bella, il reef è vicino per poter fare snorkeling (attività gratuita).
Nachteile: Non sono critiche ma consigli per migliorare: secondo noi gli orari di apertura del diving center e del watersport center sono scomodi, il primo al rientro dall’escursione gratuita lo si trova chiuso, quindi se si vuole cambiare attrezzatura o chiedere qualcosa bisogna poi tornare, il secondo chiude alle 17 quando ancora c’è luce e si potrebbe beneficiare della canoa o altro. Le escursioni sono un po’ care, sarebbe bello includerle o fare dei pacchetti. Manca un campo da tennis e padel. Le ville infine, sono bellissime, ma rispetto ai competitor andrebbero un po’ rinnovate.

Nachteile: All inclusive gittiğinizde lunch ve diner aslında all inclusive değil. Lunch ve diner için menüden başlangıç ana yemek tatlı seçebiliyorsunuz. Daha fazlası için ödemelisiniz. Diğer tarafdan all inclusive menü çok kısıtlı hergün aynı şeyi yemek zorunda kaldık. Kahvaltı açık büfesi çok kısıtlı.

Tolles Resort, schlechte Management!!!
Vorteile: Ein sehr schönes Resort ob die Villas am Strand oder noch schöner die Villa oder the Water. Malediven wie man es sich vorstellt!!
Nachteile: Warum die schlechte Bewertung (?) Es wird versucht Geld zu machen, unbedingt die Abrechnung prüfen, Wassersport alles Inklusive dann auf der Rechnung, bei zugebuchten Dingen werden die 20 Prozent nicht abgezogen. Aber am nervigsten. Anreise inklusive gebucht am Abreisetag solle ich trotzdem 1100 Euro bezahlen. Trotz Buchung die inkl. klar Aussagt und Mail vom Hotel selbst. 30 Minuten bevor der Flieger geht, genötigt zu bezahlen sonst keine Abreise. Bezahlen und wenn Fehler kommt eine Erstattung. Sehr unschön und dem Resort nicht würdig. Abzocke!!!!!

Vorteile: The place is paradise. Beautiful beach almost only for you, crystal clear water and green island. In main island restaurant was exceptional staff approach and high quality food, we loved our time spent there.
Nachteile: The housekeeping was slow, very loud from next rooms, and annoying, choosing every day the exact small time window when we were in the room, not a 5 star, however it was always nice and clean in the room.

Vorteile: Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt! Eine super Organisation des Resorts bei der Kommunikation vor der Reise, der eigentlichen Anreise und der Abreise. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Hier besonders Yana aus dem Azurro und Irey vom Roomcleaning. Wir wurden immer freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Super Tipps zum Schnorcheln gab es auch und die tägliche kostenlose geführte Schnorcheltour zum Hausriff ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das beste Restaurant war für uns das Azurro, wobei das Pasta und BBQ-Buffet im Kaani auch sehr zu empfehlen ist. Unsere Unterkunft war eins der In-Ocean Häuser, ein tolles Erlebnis schon für sich. Auch das SPA kann ich sehr empfehlen.
Nachteile: Einzige Verbesserung: Bootstransfer zur Hauptinsel auf alle 30 Minuten frequentieren und die Beleuchtung kontrollieren, da waren einige Lampen aus ;)

Perfect place to stay for a honeymoon, an experience beyond expectation !
Vorteile: Our stay in Angsana Velavaru for our honeymoon was beyond expectations. Everything was beautiful there: - Transfer arrenegment : perfect - welcoming : perfect - our bed was decorated with flower for honeymoon and we had also a themed cake for honeymoon. - Everything was clean - Food was perfect for all 3 restaurants (big thanks to the chef who was super kind and he even prepared a special request that wasn’t included in the buffet) - All the staff was super nice. Special thanks to Litu in the bar, he was so kind , Shifan in the sunset cruise he was so cool and helpful and he created a super ambiance in the cruise. Laila in the buffet was super nice and careful of little details. Nushad and Sajwan were great also. Nada at the respection was helpful and very kind. The bird guy was amazing and all the staff in the spa also ❤️ We tried 3 villas, and all of the 3 were awsome ! It was a magical stay for real. One negative point is regarding activities: beach movie night and also Karaoke night were cancelled due to the weather maybe .. Overall: 10/10 experience, I really recommend it.

Maravilhoso mas pode melhorar para uma acomodação 5 estrelas!
Vorteile: A in Ocen Delux é um paraíso sobre as águas!! Ótima pode confiar, porém as bebidas do frigobar não são geladas para o público Brasileiro. Eles só possuem 2 cervejas no frigobar, é isso para uma pessoa que gosta de cerveja é um problema. Do resto foi tudo maravilhos!!

Vorteile: We stayed 4 nights invilla ocean, it was surreal first time in Maldives and the location was perfect.
Nachteile: For the money your paying the rooms aren’t clean, dusty, sheets were stained, the door to the pool was breaking along with other furniture, a serious refurb is required and inside is dated, which I wouldn’t expect from a 5* resort. The ferry to the main island was inconvenient and they can’t cater to there customers unless you complain which we had to due to error on there side. WhatsApp communication system is lacking, if you don’t pre book your spa and activity you’ll be hugely disappointed as they’ll hardly have slots available. Dont even get me started with the all inclusive package just a headache they complicated by having too many options, we went for the max package although it aint fully all inclusive as some items such a premium drinks and food not included. The food is lacking in the invilla ocean the restaurant is just awful. Quality of the food is 0, food in the main land is 100% better. The staff and the management were superb though, attentive, friendly. However I wouldn’t call it a 5 star resort more 3 star.

Vorteile: The property is luxurious, gorgeous with beautiful ocean views. It was all inclusive meals Breakfast , lunch and dinner at Kaani restaurant was pretty good, lots of options. Great dining views. Daily Free rentals for snorkeling, kayak and stand up paddle is a great deal , a must do!! Water sports was our go to every morning. Staff were amazing , always helpful, cheerful especially Anna at the reception and Sera at the Spa center. Chef at Kaani restaurant was great, made us special aloo paratha meals. We loved Maldivian and Mangolian nights. Beach movie night is a great experience. Special mentions to the Doctor and Nurse at the medical center! They made sure to answer all my medical questios about diving. We loved the Dive center guys, Mr. Ahmed and all the instructors were amazing!!! Everyday free snorkeling at their house reef is not to be missed. We also went on snorkeling at the sandbank reef with a guide. Beautiful reef! Great pool and great bar. Spa experience with Angsana signature massage by Sera was very relaxing. The overall experience at this property was precious !!
Nachteile: Private pool at the beach villa was not clean at all, they had put some treatment to clean the pool just on the day of check in and it was there for 2 days on auto clean of the 3 night stay. so we practically couldnt use it although we paid more for villa with private pool compared to the one with no pool. It was a waste of money. We used the main pool during the stay which was great!! They checked the water quality everyday morning to make sure it's safe.

The in ocean villas are amazing, nit to be confused with normal lagoon villas, these are 1,000 meters off shore and stand alone and separate to the island. They are over two storeys and only accessible by boat. To be on the top deck at sunrise watching the sun come up is really special. The staff and island are probably a 7/10 but the in ocean villas are most definitely a 10/10. The snorkling close to the beach is also very good with lots of fish within wading depth for those not to keen on swimming.

Angsana Velavaru is absolutely perfect, the resort is truly stunning, very clean & tranquil. We ate at all the restaurants and the food was wonderful. The Spa is first class and I would like to say thank you to Mew, Leah & Cindy for the great treatments. What really makes this resort stand out are the staff who are all so warm & friendly but I would like to thank Shibin, Zawho, Sunil, Litu & Ali Shaman from the bar for the enjoyable evenings. We used AI play package and we payed 1250 dollars for the credit which we can use for various activities. But almost every activities we wanted was canceled because of the weather or fully booked and the only thing we could use was body massage twice. We could use only 740 dollars and they didn't make any resolution about that. Our 500 dollar was gone. It was like a fraud. -> Later, we complained about this and they arranged 2 more activities on the last day. They also allowed a late check-out for us. It was a busy day but we really appreciate for their effort. Though, we think the AI play package should be closed.

We went to Angsana in month of October. The weather was pleasant. The crowd was less. We have mixed reviews for the resort Good things 1- The rooms are huge especially water villas are amazing. You get amazing pool and terrace. 2- The staff is also nice 3- They serve you amazing Cocktails. Bad things 1- The property is very old. Our outdoor shower wasnt working, we raised the complaint, but then also it didnt get operational. 2-The Veg food options are very limited. And overall the food is very very oily. So if you are a vegetarian, you wont enjoy food much 3- The coral reef is very average. You wont enjoy snorkeling underneath your water villas. You wont be tracing big fishes as well

Room is kinda out of date，but still looking pretty good and ppl can have a great lagoon view with beach and tide.During the stay ppl are super friendly especially one of my families is having birthday，Matheen makes our bed with birthday wishing. And when we have dinner there's a birthday gift as well! In general our stay is satisfying, we saw sun rise，clear crystal lagoon，and so many stars at night! Also the front desk lady Fiona is super helpful as well! She's so kind and patient!

It is the one best hotel which we visited! Perfect stuff and service, delicious diversity meals , activities for children and family will not stay you bored.Azee is professional in cleaning job, easy going at community and very pleasant . Unser Urlaub im Angsana Velavaru war wunderschön. ||Der Service war hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Litu von der Khuredi Bar, der immer aufmerksam und sehr höflich war. Auch Niermal der unser Zimmer immer zur vollen Zufriedenheit reinigte, war stets höflich und versorgte uns immer mit Getränken. Das Fitnessstudio war mit guten Geräten ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Im Kaani Restaurant hatten wir eine große Auswahl an europäischen Speisen. Der Service war auch hier sehr gut. ||Insgesamt war alles super. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr höflich und grüßten uns immer. ||Vielen Dank für einen traumhaften Urlaub.

We were there for 4 nights on our honeymoon. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The ocean villas are absolutely amazing, however the beach villas are really small and need renovation. The food was good with a vast selection of dishes but they need to have a dedicated asian/chinese fine dining restaurant to elevate the property. The staff is really helpful and make you feel at home, serving to all your needs. Chef Mamun was really helpful and curated a special meal for us. Laila was very welcoming and prompt with service at breakfast and ensured we got the dishes we wanted. The bartender at the Azzurro Bar was great too. Overall, it’s a luxurious hotel and we had a really good time in the blue waters.

1월 몰디브에 대해 한국인들을 위해 리뷰 남깁니다. -습하긴 하지만 견딜만한 정도고 비는 한방울도 안왔습니다. - 메인섬의 공용풀장이 크기가 크고 깊이도 깊습니다. 주변 쿠레디바에서 음료한잔과 시간을 보내기 좋았습니다. - 쿠레디바의 Litu, 아주로 레스토랑의 Laila 는 매우 친절했습니다. 그 외의 직원들도 비교적 친절한 편이었습니다. - 메인섬에서 개인풀장이 있다면 대형튜브를 사용할 수 있지만 인오션빌라의 경우 플라밍고/유니콘 등의 대형튜브는 위험성이 있어 추천하지 않습니다. - 저희 부부는 풀보드로 이용하였지만 하프보드와 크레딧으로 이용하는것도 좋아보입니다. 몰디브로 휴가계획을 구상중이라면 좋은 선택이 될 것입니다~!

Територия отеля красивая и ухоженная. Много маскит. Местами пляж грязный ( особенно после вечеринки персонала) Номера немного ушатаные особенно двери в ванной и туалете. Номера убирают каждый день но очень поверхностно. Персонал вежливый но очень медленный. Еда на 4 с минусом, однобразие. Голодным не останишся но гастрономическое удовольствие не получишь. Бар средненкий, ала карт на 4. Сам остров можно обойти на 20 мин. Фитнес зал не плохой 24/7 Каждый день в 11:00 вывозят на снорклинг так как в самом острове жывого корала для снорклинга нет. На територи острова есть мечеть что очень обрадывало. В целом отдых удолся

We’re coming from the US for the first time to the Maldives. The entire experience was more magical than I could’ve imagined. The staff are genuinely the nicest people. I got sick on the trip and couldn’t make it to dinner one day, so they inquired about where I was, and offered to deliver food to my room. Everything was on time. Everything was clean. The room and the views from all angles are amazing. We stayed in the in-Ocean Villa and ate at all the restaurants. Even with our vegetarian restriction, the food was all very good. Would highly recommend the full dining package. The island beaches were very clean and peaceful. We spent hours just enjoying the view. The snorkeling and kayaking experiences were also 10/10. We did not do the additional paid excursions, but heard good things from guests who did them. Sunsets were magical and you will not see them anywhere else in the world. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone trying to take the most relaxing vacation

We were there 1 year back fir my baby's 1st birthday, some staff go out of the way to help but a few discriminate between eupropean and non-european guests, one such incident happened to us and it just left a bad taste in our mouth for the rest of the stay, not going back for sure and wouldn't recommend to fellow travellers too, there are plenty other great properties to choose from in Maldives

신혼여행으로 다녀왔고, 여기서의 경험때문에 지인들에게 몰디브말고 차라리 발리를 가라고 전파하고 다니는중입니다. 수중 및 자연환경은 정말 끝내주긴 합니다..만 그것뿐입니다.||||1. 왓츠앱으로 소통할수 있다고 했으나 체크인시 준비되면 초대해준다고하여 기다렸더니,||투숙 3일차 오전에 직접가서 문의한 후에야 채팅이 만들어졌고, 그마저도 물어보면 답변받기까지 최소 4시간 이상 소요됩니다.||||2. 체크인시 방이 준비되지 않았다고 하여 꽤 오래 기다렸는데, 기다림끝에 들어간 방엔 하다만 로맨틱턴다운이 기다리고 있었습니다. (비유가 아니라 진짜 글자가 완성이 안되있었음.)||||오래된것에 비해 룸컨디션은 나쁘지 않았으나, 스낵이라곤 프링글스와 초코바 하나씩밖에 없었고, 준비되는 식수는 유리병에 담겨있고 맛은 수돗물입니다. 당연히 하우스키핑때 제때 채워주지도 않아요. 그냥 침구만 정리하는 수준이길래 팁을 30불 놔봤는데도 똑같더라구요.||||3. 식당 서비스수준이 최악입니다. Kuredihi Bar의 Litu, Azzurro의 Laila를 제외하면 나머진 그냥 음식 던지고 가고, 음료 주문하려고 손흔들고 눈인사해도 쳐다도 안봅니다.||정말 유일하게 Litu와 Laila 두 분만 친절하고 유쾌하게 맞아주셨습니다. ||||Kaani에서 BBQ night에 백인이랑 비교해서 차별당한건 덤이구요 :-)||똑같이 영어로 미디움 레어를 주문했는데 앞의 백인꼬마에게는 굽고있던 고기를 주고 저에겐 뒷편에 쌓아뒀던 석탄에 가까운 고기를 주더군요. 그대로 접시를 테이블에 놓고 새접시 가져와서 다시달라고하니 그제서야 제대로된 고기를 받았습니다. 이게 말이 됩니까?||||4. 당초 안내받았던 스파크레딧이 없어졌다는걸 체크아웃때 알려줍니다.||마사지를 2회 받았고, 가서 문의했을때 한번은 크레딧으로 계산될거라는 답변도 받았었는데, 체크아웃할때 그거 없어졌으니 돈내라고 하더군요.||||5. 인오션빌라에서 1번, 비치빌라에서 1번 바퀴벌레 2마리 잡았습니다. 1박당 80만원이 넘는 5성급 리조트 객실에서 바퀴벌레가 나와요. 대단하지 않나요?||||예전에 베트남 앙사나 랑코에 대한 기억이 너무 좋았어서 고민도 안하고 여기로 정했던건데||덕분에 저희 부부는 다시는 반얀트리 계열은 안가기로 했습니다.||선택지를 줄여줘서 고마워요!

In ocean pool villa facing the sea, you can jump into the sea after wake up. Food is nice, staff are nice. Play all inclusive or meal all inclusive could be choose. I love the spa here! WHAT A HOTEL AND HOLIDAY! I travelled along with my wife and 5 year old daughter, Molly, for 15 nights in December 2023. We arrived at Male airport to be greeted by a Angsana representative who escorted to the business class lounge at the sea plane terminal where we had wifi and the usual lounge food and drink provided. This was a very welcome stop after along flight. We then took the 45minute sea plane, which was a great experience as we have always taken speed boats on our previous five visits to the Maldives. We were greeted by the Hotel Manager Zahir, two representatives from their Sustainable Projects Team as well as their Food and Beverage Manager and the Senior Receptionist who looked after our room. I had been in touch with the manager before we arrived to let him know of our upcoming stay, of our ten year anniversary that we were celebrating while there and our interest in their sustainability projects. The warm welcome Zahir and his team gave us was great to receive after a long journey. Zahir provided us with local food delicacies and drinks as we waiting for our room to be arranged and the team responsible for the sustainable projects on the island also kindly informed us of the programs they are running, such as coral planting (which we took part in ourselves later in the holiday) and the recycling of staff uniforms and other materials to do all they can too keep the wonderful islands as clean as possible. Staff – Honestly an amazing group of people. It was great to see the General Manager was Maldivian and a very large proportion of the staff are too. The island is in one of the southern atolls and a lot of the staff seem to be from nearby islands, which had the impact of creating a real community on the island. We went night fishing and I was lucky enough to catch a fish that was about 15kgs. The next morning everyone seemed to know about it before I told them, so it really felt like a village atmosphere. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. The staff were all great but ones that really stood out for us during our stay were; Zahir – an amazing General Manager who made us feel at home immediately and ensured that everything we needed was provided for. Everything on the island worked like clockwork and he was a real leader and professional! Neil – The Assistant Manager – Very friendly, extremely experienced in hotels. In fact it turned out he was the food and beverage manager at my wife and I’s first ever holiday hotel together in Egypt many years ago. He was always walking the island making sure every detail was right. Mushla – Manages the Kids Club that my daughter absolutely LOVED! Mushla looked after her most days while my wife and I went snorkelling. We always asked my daughter if she wanted too come, but she loved Mushla so much it was a battle to get her out of kids club. Thank you so much for looking after her so well. She still talks about you and wants to come back! Ageel – Manages the Diver centre. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Worked tirelessly to ensure we saw whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and sharks and countless other tropical fish. I went snorkelling every day of the holiday and wish I could go right now. Extremely professional and has convinced me to come back and do scuba diving! I really appreciated every trip we went on and look forward to diving with you again. Smart guy! Sylvia – Works with Ageel in the dive school. She went above and beyond to ensure that my 5 year old daughter got to see a whale shark on our excursion. The sea was very busy with other snorkelers trying to see it, but Sylvia was amazing in ensuring Molly was safe and had the space and time to see the giant whale shark without her getting scared. She ensured that my wife and I could see too, but looking after Molly so well really was phenomenal! She also showed my daughter her parrot which she loved! Fazeel – Worked at the dive centre and took some amazing videos and photos of us swimming with turtles. Always looked after everyone on the daily snorkel trips. Litu – Amazing waiter by the pool bar/a la carte restaurant. Litu was excellent and always had our drinks ready for us before we had even ordered and set up our lunch tables by the pool too. Really friendly, funny and ensured that my daughter was catered for. Thank you! Ziwaan – Our waiter in the buffet restaurant for the holiday. Our table was always in a great spot and he ensured that my daughter had all of her off menu food requests (pizza, pasta, fried, ice cream of course!) catered for as well as looking after the adults really well too. Lovely guy. Hathim – aka Apa – Brilliant waiter at the buffet restaurant who has an incredible talent for creating things out of leaves and flower. He created the most amazing displays on the tables as well as a crab made of palm leaves for my daughter than had to be seen to be believer (I have no idea how he did it!) as well as necklaces and other creations that my daughter loved. Rohim – One of the lead chefs. Wow. What a great guy and he works so hard. Again, knew what we wanted every day at breakfast and got up extra earl yon our last day to make us our last breakfast when it was still dark. Great chef, hard worker and very friendly. Thanks foo looking after us so well! Khalid – Room attendant – The room was spotlessly clear. He also decorated us with two beautiful welcome and anniversary messages on our beds (my daughter loved her one too!). Thank you for keeping us so well looked after! Moosa Neem – Manages the gym. I have NEVER been in a cleaner gym in my life. I went every day and there was never so much of a spec of sand on there, which is near impossible on an island covered in it. He was always cleaning it and ensuring that everything was in the right position. He also worked in the water sports centre and helped us there too. Ali – Photographer/dive centre support. Lovely guy who looked after us on the daily dives and excursions too. Shibin – a great waiter at the bar who also looked after us very well. Husain – the restaurant manager and huge Man United fan (like me) who was so friendly and ensured that everything was perfect for us in the restaurant. On our last night he asked one of his colleagues to create a table with the Man United badge and loads of flowers. The badge was the size of the entire table and was made with dyed pieced of rice. It must have taken ages. I did not get the chance to thank him in person as he worked n the water villas and we were going the next day, but a huge thank you goes to Nadeem aka, Totti, who must have spent so much time putting it together. It was incredible! Agmal – Senior pool bar waiter. He is a huge Indian cricket fan and was always good fun too chat to and looked after us well! Sustainability – I had read about their sustainability and resource project before going and it was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. The demonstration and explanation of them was great to see and hear and long may it continue. Well done to the company for making these a priority! Rooms – We had a Beachfront Infinity Pool Villa, on the sunrise side of the island. It was near the end of the island where you can walk about 20 steps and then be on the sunset side of the island, so it was a wonderful location. The room was spacious and very clean with full air-conditioning and satellite TV available, including Premiership football games and children’s tv, which came in useful. The pool was a perfect size for us and my daughter basically learnt to swim in it. It was brilliant to jump into it after along day in the sea or in the main pool. It will be very difficult to go back to a room without our own private pool now! Food – Excellent. Two restaurants; the buffet and the a la carte. They were both excellent and the quality of the food was never in question. The quality of the tuna in the a la cart/pool restaurant was probably the best I have ever had and I am a huge sushi fan. The steak and burgers were also great, as were the calamari and chicken wings. In fact, you can’t go wrong as the chefs are top quality. The staff always made huge efforts to get whatever my daughter would like, as kids can be fussy eaters, and she was very well catered for. Especially with her ice creams! Pool Bar – This was a wonderful place to have a drink during the day or evening. The staff were always on hand to look after you had generally knew what you were drinking and delivered it before you had even ordered. Cocktails, soft drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails were all very well made and the beer was ice cold too. My daughter especially liked the chocolate milk that they provided as well as her peach juice, which has now become her favourite drink. Main pool - The pool itself was beautiful overlooking the white sand and there were plenty of sun loungers, seats and tables for lunch available. Snorkelling – daily trips to different parts of the reef were wonderful and lasted just over an hour. Saw turtles, sharks and countless tropical fish. Also saw a number of eagle rays and a couple of manta rays while out there. On our return journey and Angsana representative escorted us through security, all the way to the check in desk. This was very useful, professional and made a real difference in our send off. Going 5 star makes a difference and it was noticed. Thank you all and we can’t wait to return. This place is fantastic 。主岛棕榈树🌴🌴🌴白沙滩，水屋玻璃海，每天都有印度洋的访客~🦈~魔鬼鱼~尼莫~海鹭（站在房间泳池边的上，祈祷它多待一会儿但不要拉粑粑）😜每天都很快乐，Angsana velavaru酒店工作人员都很nice ，中文管家Jane 说话好温柔，但是工作很效率。因为住4晚水屋，几乎在Azzoro用餐，几位服务生都很热情，活力满满，和我们用中文打招呼互动，Totti Hattim ，特别是Fayaz，还帮我查喜欢的腌菜名称🤭，酒店的活招牌，老板加鸡腿吧~Boss raises salary。浮潜的向导也很专业，还有个深潜的女向导，飒！这次旅行对海洋又多了一份敬畏，为了这么美丽的大自然，为了珊瑚礁，为了海洋生态，人类需要行动起来~

The stay was very satisfying. The group of 8, 4 adults and 4 pre-teens, loved here and were all saddened to leave. The sea, lagoon, and beach are beautiful. There’s a lot to see when we snorkel around the water vila, and much more when the dive coaches took us out to the edge. The staff were all very professional and friendly. We loved the food at Azzuro and the drinks! Thank you specially to Fayaz for taking care of this big group during our stay. Definitely recommend.

非常好的体验，最喜欢水中阁，非常漂亮，餐厅的饭也非常好吃，服务也很周到，日落巡航，海钓，浮潜，深潜，体验非常丰富，最爱S.p.A.真想天天留在这里享受。沙滩上的沙子非常细腻，水屋附近可以看到baby shark，各种漂亮的小鱼，喂鸟的体验也非常有趣，孩子很喜欢，小鹦鹉们吃瓜子很快呢！孩子钓到一条漂亮的鱼，又放回大海了，总之是非常开心的一次旅行，马尔代夫真美，薇拉瓦鲁这个岛很棒，推荐大家来体验！希望有时间再来！

We spent 5 days at the resort in February and we loved it. Such a beaut island, small but about the right size as nothing was too far to walk to and it never felt “busy” . We found all of the staff to be really amazing. Our waiter for most of the week was Hatim who really took care of us and on my birthday laid a beautiful table for us with impressive handmade features from palm leaves and flowers. A very nice touch. Our room boy Azzie also laid me a beautifully decorated birthday bed and was there to help us with anything we needed. A really nice guy also. The resort itself has lovely rooms, both on land and the sea villas. The house reef for snorkelling is very close by boat and they take you daily at 11am. We saw turtles and sharks on a few occasions and dolphins on the way back. My only comment is the buffet selection is ok but I expected better for 5 star. The selection of fish and seafood isn’t fantastic. I eat everything so I was ok. My wife found it a bit limited on certain days. On the whole I’m still giving it a solid review as we had a great and relaxing time and overall a lovely experience thanks to the wonderful staff and the beautiful scenery.

It was really amazing. Staff here are all super friendly and helpful.personally I like Fayaz, Totti & Laila.Water villa was extremely clean and with a good view❤️ Must try sunset cruise & spa. Angsana Velavaru is absolutely perfect, the resort is truly stunning, very clean & tranquil. We ate at all the restaurants and the food was wonderful. The Spa is first class and I would like to say thank you to Mew, Leah & Cindy for the great treatments. What really makes this resort stand out are the staff who are all so warm & friendly but I would like to thank Shibin, Zawho, Sunil, Litu & Ali Shaman from the bar for the enjoyable evenings. There are 3 people whom deserve a very special thanks and that is Imthiyaz, Azee & Afzal for making our stay so memorable, can't wait to return and see you all again...... Oh & thank you Neil 😊

Отдыхали в этом отеле 10 дней с мужем и 2 дочерями (20 и 15 лет) в Beachfront Family pool villa (виллы объединенные внутри дверью №135-136). Остров небольшой, но очень красивый и зеленый. Очень ухоженная территория, персонал внимательно следит за порядком и чистотой. Очень здорово, что остров полон птиц, крабиков, ящерок, летучих лисиц и обитателей океана. Чувствуешь, что живешь в единении с природой. У нас со стороны виллы заход в океан был неплохой, можно было без обуви, но попадались кораллы и там совсем не глубоко. Если поплавать без рассматривания рыбок и понырять, ходили на противоположный берег (со стороны водных вилл). Вдоль берега постоянно плавают маленькие акулки (30-50 см в длину), так же видели ската. Вообще рыб очень большое разнообразие со всех сторон лагуны. Брали тур на китовую акулу, нам повезло-увидели! Все были в восторге! А так же посчастливилось поплавать среди огромных скатов в ту же поездку. Спасибо Сильивии (привет красивому попугаю ара -Хасану) и другим ребятам из Дайвинг Центра! Их забота была очень приятной и во время всей поездки, и во время плавания с акулой и скатами. Персонал в отеле очень приветливый, запоминают предпочтения гостей. Особенно хочется выразить огромную благодарность официантке Яне, Ази, ответственному за уборку нашей виллы, и менеджеру отеля Алине. Мы ощущали их заботу во всем каждый день. Выбор еды (относительно Турции) небольшой, но всегда было все вкусно! Мы бывали ранее в других отелях Мальдив, тут по еде нам понравилось больше всего. Спасибо Angsana Velavaru за наши чудесные каникулы! Мы будем скучать!

What can I say, a fantastic holiday destination and really friendly staff. The in ocean villas are huge, open plan living space with full fronted and unobstructed view of the ocean to wake up to! The infinity pool is great to watch the sunset from or just bob about or cool down, while the sun beds are comfy and the mesh suspended over the ocean fun to lie on and watch the fish below. There’s then steps down to a platform straight into the reef so literally snorkelling straight from your villa. Great to swim out with the multitude of fish and duck dive down the reef wall. As if all this isn’t enough there’s then a secluded roof terrace giving fantastic views and more shade than the downstairs pool area. Drinks are available in the villa, though be aware that while alcoholic drinks are unlimited, soft drinks are limited per day and if you want more than one chocolate bar between the two of you it’s chargeable. Not a problem at all, but an odd quirk I didn’t quite understand. Bottled water is provided and plentiful. Food, drinks, cocktails and soft drinks are available and inclusive at the bars and restaurants pretty much all day. Meals were great, and food at the in ocean restaurant á la carte rather than buffet style, which I definitely prefer. The only thing we found a little confusing was there are more than one menu, obtained by scanning a QR code with your phone, and only the items on the correct one are inclusive for your package. Once mastered though not a problem and there was plenty of choice both food and drinks wise. Would I have preferred a printed menu? Yes, I think for somewhere as luxurious as this I would have. My guess a covid measure that has persisted. The staff were great, all really helpful and friendly. I’d particularly like to thank a few individually, being Ishmal our waiter in the restaurant, Adam our housekeeper and Alex one of the barmen. All were great but these three really went out of their way to make our stay the best it could possibly be, thank you all! There’s a regular boat, around every hour, between the in ocean villas and the island. A good excuse for another cocktail while you wait :) Then there’s the diving! I’d never scuba dived before coming to the Maldives, but decided to do the PADI Open Water Diver course. I didn’t fancy studying on holiday so I did the theory part by eLearning prior to the holiday. I’d already exchanged emails with Sylvia at the dive centre before coming, and on the afternoon of arrival received a really helpful WhatsApp message from her. Met her the next day to get all the gear I’d need, then on for a brilliant, if tiring, session in the lagoon and then each day after that for dives from the dive boats. What an experience! Sylvia is a fantastic instructor. I was far more nervous than I’d expected to be, but she was so patient and explained things as many times as I needed. There’s quite a lot to get through, but I really enjoyed it, especially the final dive after all the exercises had been completed. The underwater scenery on the reefs is fantastic, and we saw so many different types of fish. I can’t wait to dive again! Thank you Sylvia for all your help and patience, you really made the holiday for me! We bought eSims for our UK phones but really that was unnecessary, as both the in ocean and island areas all had good wifi. So, thank you once again Sylvia, Ishmal, Adam, Alex, Totti and all the staff, we will be back!

Siamo stati diverse volte alle Maldive, e questa volta cercavamo un resort con poche camere, tranquillo, con un ottimo servizio e l’ Angsana Velavaru resort ha soddisfatto a pieno le nostre aspettative. L’isola è bellissima, circondata da un mare stupendo e gira a piedi in meno di mezz’ora. Ogni giorno alle 11 portano a fare snorkelling nella zona overwater. Noi abbiamo scelto un beach cottage con piscina ; la camera è ampia, ben distribuita e con un bellissimo bagno maldiviano. Irushad si è preso cura della nostra camera in modo esemplare, era sempre pulita, profumata e spesso il letto era decorato. Il servizio era all inclusive, con ampia scelta di piatti, ben cucinati sia al Kaani Restaurant che al Kuredhi Pool Bar ( qui sempre a là carte menu).

Camere molto grandi ed alcune, come la nostra con piscina, raccomando quella con piscina posteriore per privacy. Ogni camera ha l’accesso alla spiaggia con comodi letti e ombrellone. Cibo eccellente e vario, personale gentilissimo e professionale. Un grazie particolare al nostro housekeeping della camera particolarmente attento e premuroso ed al super Litu gentile e super professionale. Un posto che lascia il segno da raccomandare.

Recently returned from our first trip to the Maldives we were extremely pleased to spend our first six nights at Angsana Velavaru. First impressions were even better than our expectations, the beauty of the island and friendliness of the staff made us feel immediately very welcome and relaxed. We opted for a beach villa with pool, which had a beautiful private garden and a short walk led us to our own stretch of beach with white sand and amazing snorkelling. Our room was looked after by friendly Robin for whom nothing was too much trouble, drinks and snacks in the mini bar were refreshed every day, which was great when wanting to relax by our villa pool. The buffet restaurant was excellent, freshly prepared food with lots of different choices each night. Our server Yana was lovely, she looked after us and made our dining experiences very special, we were also lucky to have Ziwaan on hand when more drinks were required!! The beach bar and resort pool area had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and whilst the resort had many people, nowhere ever felt crowed. Would definitely love return to Angsana in the future.

My wife and I visited the first week in February and had the best experience ever with our holiday. We stayed in the water villas and the place was amazing. Our housekeeper Irey was the best ever and we had impeccable service all week he deserves a special mention and we left as friends. All resort staff were fantastic and very friendly but Fayaz ,Leila andTotti in azzuro restaurant deserve a special mention for their hospitality and service. Not to forget Areej our waiter for our private beach dining you gave us a fantastic experience sorry we missed you before we left. Thank you to everyone we will never forget you all

My husband and I just returned from two wonderful weeks on Velavaru Island January 21-February 4 and are still there in our thoughts, mind, body and soul! Why? Coming back here (this was our third time) is like coming home to paradise and the staff are simply exceptional! The island has now changed its concept to AI (previously we booked half board) and this was our first AI experience ever so we were concerned about the quality of food and drinks. But the cuisine, drinks and service in all restaurants were excellent...we were never disappointed. Thanks to Shibin and Litu (Kuredhi Bar) and Appa, Trimal and Rohim (Kaani Restaurant) for making our dining experiences amazing every day! We prefer to stay on the actual island itself, to feel the sand between our toes, lie under palm trees, feed the birds (thanks Jaleel for your talents with our feathered lovebird friends!) and enjoy the lovely green nature. Our one-bedroom beachfront pool villa is the room type we always choose (never disappointed!) and this time Naseeh (Nasaki) made our stay extra special by being very creative with the lovely bed decorations! We did spend one night in an In Ocean Villa for the experience - which was also fantastic...very different to be living on top of the water in elegance! A big heart-felt thank you goes out to Shuja (Housekeeping) and Ayaaz (Front Desk) for making the booking arrangements for us to be able to experience the different accomodation types, rounding out our wonderful stay! And what would the Maldives be without diving or snorkeling? The two Ahmeds (especially Ahmed Jawad!) from the dive center always went the extra mile to provide equipment and extremely memorable diving experiences, accompanied by a great boat crew! Also many thanks to Namy who let me ride with the speedboat while my husband was flying around the lagoon and beyond on the jetski! In summary, Velavaru Island is a dream come true...we travel quite extensively but this is the place we always come back to. Thank you to everyone at Velavaru for this life-enlightening experience....a highlight every time! We miss you already! :-)

We have just returned from spending a wonderful, restful, incredible week on Angsana Velavaru. From the moment you step foot on the island you quickly realised why a holiday in the Maldives is so special. Although a relatively small island in terms of walking along the beach Angsana provides everything you would wish for in the Maldives. We have been very fortunate in being able to travel to the Maldives many times, never staying on the same island and each one has provided something different from staying over the water to a villa on a beach. We have been asked if we have a favourite and each time, we say no. They are all so different in offering something unique which is difficult to find when you consider you are in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Staying on Angsana we chose to stay in a villa with pool together with direct access to our own space on the beach. The Villas are very private and provide the ultimate luxuries we have found staying in the Maldives. They are so relaxing and you are never disturbed unless a Fruit Bat decides to rest in the nearest tree. The villas are very well equipped from outdoor bathrooms, relaxing on the patio or sat on the beach. The only problem we experienced was having no USB sockets in the rooms for our phone and iPad etc. We have become so accustomed to using them at home without the need for chargers and on our travels and they are always found in many hotels. We were fortunate however the reception had a spare we were able to borrow, so if you are travelling to the island do not forget your plug-in charger. The staff are absolutely wonderful and provide excellent service and are so helpful, remembering your favourite cocktail or wine. Having two restaurants to choose from enables you to be flexible in your dining either for lunch or dinner. We preferred the Kuredhi pool bar where you were served lunch or diner our favourites being the Sea Bass and Tenderloin Steak, which are highly recommended. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in the In Ocean Villas on our final day which requires a boat ride from the island. They were fabulous, having stayed previously in a water villa on a different island we had a fairly good idea of the concept. However, these were incredible and so luxurious. The In Water Villas have their own restaurant Azzuro which allowed us to sample some wonderful food sitting over the ocean. Angsana Velavaru provided us with many memories from the accommodation to the wonderful staff, and visitors from all over the world. It is a very special Island and resort, highly recommended for a wonderful holiday in the Maldives

It was my honeymoon. I was impressed by the best underwater environment and staff service. Especially staff Totti and Izuan Usman are the best. It made our honeymoon better. If you like diving, be sure to participate in the free diving excursion. I don't think I'll ever forget the happy memories I spent here.

Our first time in the Maldives. We wanted a relaxed, unpretentious week where we could relax and chill. And that’s exactly what we got! The staff is what makes this resort. Friendly, and an impeccable service. The fact that Litu was always two steps ahead of us, knew my (complicated) dietary requirements and preference of our drinks meant we were always looked after. It’s clear that everybody who works here enjoys it, and what a difference that makes. Thank you for a fab holiday.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Angsana Velvaru. Les services proposés sont très variés et permettent de découvrir l’environnement local. Le personnel est au petits soins. It was fantastic experience in Angsana Velavaru. All staffs were very kind and room conditions were very good. If you want to travel Maldives, it would be great staying in Angsana Velavaru. Especially, Litu was very nice staff in Ansansa. :)

Everyone is really kind and nice. we had tiny issues but all is resolved gently! Especially Litu and Zawho are really kind (with a little Korean words :) ) I'm in honeymoon , and if me and my husband come again in Maldives, I will stay here again. I really liked beach villa and also ocean villa.
