We were greeted with warm smiles and cheerful waves from the staff—straight out of a White Lotus episode. That high-end, personalized experience was waiting for us from the very beginning and never let up.
The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dining here was a highlight in itself.
The staff truly elevated our stay. A special shoutout to Shifaz, our housekeeper, who not only kept our villa spotless and well-stocked, but also took the time to decorate our bed for our anniversary and again on our departure. His warm greetings and genuine attention to what we needed made us feel so cared for. And Sue, our GEM (Guest Experience Manager), was incredible—she kept us in the loop on resort happenings, helped us reschedule activities, and was a key part of making our experience stress-free and unforgettable.
We treated ourselves to a massage at the spa, and it was easily the best we’ve ever had. After a 27-hour journey, the therapists worked magic—our bodies have never felt more relaxed.
Our overwater villa with ocean view was nothing short of a dream. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a private show. We loved getting around the island on bikes—such a fun way to explore! (A little bike maintenance wouldn’t hurt, but it didn’t take away from the charm.)
Another bonus was being able to pay for a late checkout and enjoy a few more precious hours in our villa before heading home—such a perfect way to stretch out that last day of paradise.
The location is also a plus—just a quick transfer from the airport, making the whole trip smooth from start to finish.
SO/ Maldives delivered on every level—luxury, service, comfort, and those magical little touches that make a trip unforgettable. We’re already dreaming of when we can return.
