Transfer

Seaplane

Seaplane transfers will be arranged by the Resort where the Contract Partner must book all seaplane transfers through the Resort.
The baggage allowance for the seaplane is 20kg and 5kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage is subject to availability at the time of check-in to the seaplane and at an extra charge.
Seaplane transfer to the Resort is available only during daylight hours (06:00hrs to 16:00hrs).
Guests arriving after that will require an overnight stay before they can be transferred to the island the following day.
Seaplanes from the Resort to the airport (on departure) can only connect with international flights departing from 09:00 hrs onwards.
Booking accommodation for the first night in such cases is at the discretion of the Contract Partner. 8) Last seaplane transfer from the Resort is in the late afternoon. Guests departing on evening or late-night flights will need to take this transfer back to the airport.

Sehr schönes, ruhiges, kleines 5* Hotel - perfekt zum Entspannen und Schnorcheln!

Pros: Die sehr kleine Insel punktet vor allem mit ihrem Riff, das dazu einlädt direkt vor der Insel zu Schnorcheln (Schildkröten, Haie, Rochen und viele viele bunte Fische). Da es nur wenige Villen gibt, ist es sehr ruhig und angenehm erholsam (kein Lärm, keine Partys, keine Wasserflugzeuge). Die Villen sind alle sehr komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Die verschiedenen A-la-Carte Themen-Restaurants bieten ein abwechslungsreiches und leckeres Speisenangebot. Der Service ist super und man fühlt sich sehr schnell sehr wohl. Zu empfehlen ist auch der Spa-Bereich mit einem tollem Ambiente und erstklassigen Massagen. Die Anreise erfolgt von Male mit dem Wasserflugzeug und anschließend mit dem Boot (5-10 Minuten). Auch hier wurde vom Hotel alles perfekt organisiert, so dass man sich um nichts kümmern muss.

Cons: Trotz einsetzender Regensaison (erste Mai Woche), hatten wir mit dem Wetter insgesamt Glück (kaum Regen, viel Sonne, warmes Wasser, viel Schnorcheln). Da es morgens/vormittags aber immer recht windig war, konnten keine Exkursionen durchgeführt werden. Da kann das Hotel nichts für, aber wer auf Nummer sicher gehen will sollte einen anderen Reisezeitraum wählen.

Bel hotel idéal pour se reposer et nager.

Pros: C'est un petit hôtel avec une clientèle particulièrement agréable, calme et courtoise. Transfert par hydravion (1/2h). Le beau bateau de l’hôtel vous attend sur la plate forme et en 10 min vous découvrez les lieux. Cela évite les bruits d'hydravion a proximité. J'ai fait plusieurs séjours aux Maldives en catégorie équivalente et je trouve que l’hôtel a de vrais atouts comme le service personnalisé (seuls ou à 2 sur toutes les activités). La direction très agréable et aidante parle français, entre autres. De plus il n'y a a pas d'attente pour réserver dans les restaurants, au diving center et toutes les activités sont réalisables facilement. Le mini bar de la chambre est très bien et placé dans l'entrée. Un panier de fruits à l'arrivée nous attendait et la chambre nous a été délivrée immédiatement (10h am). Snorkeling: Même si les coraux du lagon sont détruits et blancs mais en phase de reconstruction, la diversité des espèces vues est exceptionnelle. Nous avons fait les meilleures observations ever. Les tortues sont partout et les raies sur le tombant sont là en permanence. Nous avons fait le snorkeling de nuit au milieu des requins avec un accompagnateur. Une totale safe et fabuleuse expérience. A noter: Il y a un fort courant mais le système de bouées est remarquablement bien pensé ce qui permet à tout le monde avec des palmes de profiter des fonds marins. La pêche était très bien tout comme le manta point. Water villas: Literie très confortable et oreiller ok, la salle de bain en "aquarium" est vraiment sympa avec la mer sur deux faces. Cela permet d'admirer les espèces qui barbotent devant la villa. Nous avons vu le soir des chasses époustouflantes et du plancton bioluminescent. La végétation de l'île est très belle et il n'y a pas de moustiques ni de lézards pour ceux que cela dérange. Petite attention plaisante: La possibilité de faire un sac complet de laundry offert.

Cons: Les quelques points négatifs sont des détails mais j'apprécie de les lire, quand il y en a, afin de me faire une idée précise de l'hôtel où je vais séjourner: - Chambre a rénover: Pas d’électricité accessible sur les tables de chevet ou dans la salle de bain. Il faut se sécher les cheveux devant le bureau dans la chambre au milieu des portables rechargeant (vraiment anormal pour un hotel de cette catégorie). Les rideaux sont défraîchis. Les produits de douche en bidon sont de très mauvaise qualité. Mesdames n'oubliez surtout pas comme moi vos conditioners!!! Un seul et unique sèche serviette dans la salle de bains (douche comprise). Ou donc faire sécher les maillots mis à part sur la baignoire ?!! Bizarre... L'intimité des villas n'est au top: lorsque j'allais de la salle de bain au dressing, la palissade n'étant pas jointive j'avais une vue sur les 2/3 de la salle de bain voisine. L’hôtel dit vouloir y remédier. Mais ce point est clairement à vérifier avant de partir. Totalement anormal. - Le petit déjeuner est servi à table et il y a un micro buffet avec des pâtisseries moyennes et un salé légumes/fromage vraiment quelconque et toujours le même, type 3 étoiles à Paris. L'eau plate ou pétillante est embouteillée sur place et n'est pas close. Cela nous a dérangés, mais elle est bonne et tout le temps réapprovisionnée dans les chambres. La restauration est certes très bien réalisée avec des cartes apparemment larges (le grill) mais en réalité très courtes est lassante au bout de 11 jours. - L'orientation des water villas est au nord. Il faut le savoir parce que la plate forme est dans l'ombre dès 15h Enfin nous avons regretté ne pas trouver de hamac sur la plage ou dans l'eau et transats/parasols mis à part deux devant le restaurant.

Wonderful

Pros: Этот курорт отлично подходит для тех кто: - не любит большие скопления людей - не любит дискотеки и громкую музыку - предпочитает питание а ля карт шведскому столу - умеет наслаждаться тишиной и уединением понравилось - хороший снорклинг: черепахи, акулы, много рыб, видели скатов разных размеров (самый большой был 1,5м в размахе крыльев) - 4 ресторана, хотя они и расположены как единый комплекс но меню разное - отличные блюда из говядины и свежей рыбы - можно запросить приготовить лично под твой запрос то, чего нет в меню - домашняя обстановка тк мало вилл (гостей) и поэтому персонал тоже немногочисленный и есть ощущение домашней атмосферы - вилла на воде ( мы без маленьких детей и любим когда есть ветерок чтобы было не жарко в течение всего дня)

Cons: у нас был формат все включено - выбор вин довольно большой но можно бы было немного повысить качество самих вин. - трансфер туда в итоге не совсем соответствовал описанию - первый полет на гидросамолете 25 мин, потом еще один 10 мин и только потом катер 12 минут.

Absolute heaven on earth. This was our first trip to the Maldives. We did a ton of research to find the right resort for our family (2 adults, 2 teens) We definitely chose right! From the moment we docked at Kandolhu, we were pampered and spoiled. The service is out of this world. From many of our hosts knowing our names to a perfect balance of privacy and meticulous attention to detail all over the tiny island. Btw, shout out to whoever created the in room Playlist! The music was phenomenal! We also believe Kandolhu has one of the best house reefs available. The night snorkeling is a must. We also went wakeboarding, which was an awesome experience. It's also nice that the water activity equipment is all free to use if you don't need a guide (SUP, kayaks, snorkels, etc) We chose not to purchase a meal plan as our teens are super picky light eaters and even my husband and I don't eat or drink enough to make the a la carte plan make sense. We probably spent about 1/4 of what the meal plan costs each day. So unless you are planning to really let go, it makes sense to pass. On that note however, I have my one and only negative comment. While water is plentiful in the rooms, in the gym, at the included breakfasts, it is not included at lunch and dinner when you don't have a meal plan. (I'm talking about still water) This seemed silly and unnecessary. We would fill our own bottles with the water from the rooms and bring it to our meals. I don't think our hosts knew what to make of us! Water is life! As you will fully embrace after your time living in it at beautiful Kandolhu.

Wir waren zum 3. Mal auf Kandolhu u d würden immer wieder gehen. Die Insel hat im Vergleich zu anderen Inseln ein sehr schönes Riff. Sichtung von 🐢 und Haie sind gesichert. Service einmalig, spezieller Dank gilt an Elvira.

コロナ禍で4年ぶりの海外、4度目のモルディブにカンドゥールを選びました。リゾートスタッフのフレンドリィーだけど適度な距離感での接客、素晴らしいロケーション、素晴らしいハウスリーフ、美味しい食事、清潔感溢れるヴィラで満足度100％の大満足のリゾートです。唯一、水上飛行機のラウンジスタッフの態度がこれまでのリゾートに比べて残念でした。

We visited Kandolhu for our honeymoon and stayed 6 nights. Kandolhu was a real little paradise for us and we really enjoyed everything. 1. All staffs were very kind and professional. They gave us warm greeting all the time and gave us perfect service. Reception staffs including Landysh always helped us properly. Every liquid recommended by vilu bar's staff including Mr. Gilbert, Mr. Bagul, Mr. Ziham and so on was sooooo good and we loved it. 2. Even though the island is small, they have five restaurants(which means a lot) and each provides various kinds of food and dessert which taste soooo good. I missed the mexican lunch beside the beach, also Banzai, Sea&grill, The market and Olive. all server staffs are so nice ~ I miss Estella's "All good?!" already. 3. Kandolhu has many things to enjoy. First we learned snorkeling from Naweed and his boss helped us too. He was a good instructor so we can enjoy snorkeling during honeymoon trip. The sea condition was so excllent that we can enjoy everytime. Second we went Manta trip with Naweed far from about 30mins by speedboat. (If you need, you can get motionsickness pills at the medical center) During trip we saw many mantas and took Gopro videos too. Next we took basic lesson on scuba diving from Kiara & Michael. They are really professional and nice instructors. Thanks to their help, although it was our first diving we did it two times sucessfully. Kandolhu's house reef was so beautiful and we could see many fishes, turtles, sharks, eels and so on just right in front of us. Diving is one of the best experience we had, really recommend it. (You can do it too !) Last, we also took massage during 75 mins. All staffs are kind and relaxing, their skills are all good. We were really relaxed. We really miss Kandolhu and look forward to visiting again someday.
