Pros: la natura in cui l'isola è immersa. Non c'è bisogno di fare escursioni perché è già tutto presente attorno all'isola. Inoltre, l'isola offre un area molto ampia di verde con possibilità di passeggiate all'ombra immersi nella natura

Nie ma 1 zdania żeby opisać jak cudowne wakacje mieliśmy

Pros: Było genialnie i niesamowicie. widok z okien jak tapeta na pulpicie :) dzięki programowi Genius dostaliśmy większą willę położoną na najpiękniejszym odcinku plaży. Willa duża czysta, prysznic genialny na świeżym powietrzu, codziennie uzupełniany minibar. Cicho i bez tłoku, jest bardzo kameralnie, nie wiem gdzie znikają ludzie :) ale mi to odpowiada :) możliwość chodzenia wszędzie na boso - po prostu bosko, również na stołówce, radzę zabrać 1 sandały i to wszystko. Cudowna plaża dookoła wyspy można ją całą obejść, spacery są wspaniałe, obwód wyspy to ok. 5 km. Czysto jest wszędzie personel sprząta również plaże. Personel jest miły i pomocny, nie mieliśmy problemu z otrzymaniem późnego wymeldowania. Transfery zorganizowane bardzo dobrze, zarówno od wylądowania i do odlotu praktycznie cały czas jest się pod opieką przedstawiciela hotelu. Jedzenie - zróżnicowane, codziennie jest inny dzień tematyczny, oczywiście po tygodniu się powtarza ale to nie problem. Dużo ryb, ryżu i makaron. Nie ma frytek, ziemniaki są smażone lub puree. Świeże owoce i soki. Można zamówić kolację na plaży - super sprawa :) dopatrzyli się że mamy urodziny i dodali torcik a na rano kwiaty na stolik ze śniadaniem. Wycieczki o których mogę coś powiedzieć: 1. snurfowanie, 2. podglądanie żółwi, 3. wędkowanie nocne, 4. bezludna piaszczysta wyspa 1 i 2 są podobne prawie w tym samym miejscu, organizowane dla kilku osób od 6 do 10 - ok 30 minut rejs, 2h pływania i z powrotem, mogą dostarczyć maski i płetwy, sama rafa jest OK, żółwie są ale mocno płochliwe i uciekają, można spotkać rekina i jest to całkowicie bezpieczne. Napoje są na pokładzie. 3. też dla większej liczby osób ok 8 wyrusza się jak jest jasno więc dochodzi jeszcze zachód słońca - jako wędka służy kółko z nawiniętą żyłką i haczykiem, pomagają założyć przynętę, trzeba ich słuchać jak łowić :) to się złapie :) mi się trafiły 3 szt. 4. tylko dla par mała szybka motorówka, rejsy są do południa lub popołudniowy z zachodem słońca

Good for money

Pros: The staff was professional and very respectful. When we arrived at the reception, they were waiting for us with cold towels for us to chill after the hot ride. The restaurant’s food was very diverse and fresh. We had the best pineapple ever. Every night had a different theme of food at the restaurant, from Maldivian night to Italian night. There is a fish feeding every night at 19:30.

Cons: The bad cocktails from the bar. The many insects.

Polecam - idealne miejsce na wypoczynek

Pros: Obiekt znajduje się na pięknej wyspie z dużą ilością zieleni. Obsługa w hotel jest przemiła i bardzo pomocna, zorganizowali dla nas cały transfer i o wszystkim informowali na bieżąco. Jedzenie w hotelu jest pyszne i na pewno każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie w szerokiej ofercie. Mimo pełnego obłożenia ma się wrażenie, że w resorcie jest się samemu. Panuje błoga cisza i relaksujaca atmosfera.

The dream trip

Pros: It's tough to put down words to describe how magical was our stay at Hondaafushi Island Resort. We were there for our honeymoon and we enjoyed so much. The welcome was warm yet professional, the apartment on the beach was just amazing (the back door overlooking the sea was great, but we really enjoyed also the outdoor bathroom). The Tila Bar was perfect: staff, atmosphere, drinks, events organized in the evening like the karaoke or dance night. The restaurant was always perfect from brekfast to dinner: just great food and so many options! The excursions were also fun: we did the fishing and snorkeling. Can't wait to be back!

Amazing resort, exceptional staff. Dream holiday for us.

Pros: The resort really feels like a private island sometimes. The scenery is outstanding, the staff is (mostly) exceptionally friendly. We had issues when arriving and the staff went above and beyond to arrange us a transfer.

Cons: Mosquitos and sand flies. Stocking up on repellents and some soothing creams is essential. There's only a very basic shop on the island and it's somewhat overpriced. The gym equipment is somewhat old..

Pros: Великолепный пляж по всему острову (мелкий хрустящий белоснежный песок). Довольно приватно. Трансфер отлично организован. Ежевечерняя обработка острова инсектицидами (насекомые вообще не досаждали). Всё очень размеренно и спокойно.

Cons: --- При оплате банковской картой приобретённых в магазине сувениров взяли комиссию сверх стоимости покупок (я имею ввиду не НДС, а именно - прибавку при оплате картой), о чём не было предупреждения. Хотелось бы узнать - если оплачивать всё проживание картой - будет ли прибавлен процент к заявленной стоимости бронирования? Мне не удалось это выяснить, так как всю стоимость проживания я оплатил наличными. --- Проявленное некоторое недоверие со стороны менеджмента, заставившего (после моего позднего вечернего прибытия) срочно оплатить всю стоимость бронирования. По моему опыту, при моих многочисленных визитах на Мальдивы, весь расчёт происходит при выезде. Но - возможно у отеля есть свой негативный опыт, и они действуют в соответствии с существующими обстоятельствами. --- Слабоват (но совсем не ужас-ужас) WI-FI. Было компенсировано сим-картой местного оператора, приобретённой по прилёту в аэропорту Мале.

Хотели бы посоветовать разнообразить закуски в баре (мужу приносили к пиву сладкие кексы, которые ну совсем не подходят

Pros: Очень заботливый и вежливый персонал, вкусные и разнообразные обеды и ужины (практически каждый день есть рыба и морепродукты). Потрясающий и просторный пляж, удобная и комфортная для проживания вилла, ежедневная и достойная уборка (всегда подметили и мыли полы от песка, часто заменяли постельное белье).

Cons: Единственный минус - это обилие насекомых, на укусы которых у меня была сильная аллергия. Причем даже ежедневная обработка территории не помогает, потому что кусают на пляже песчаные мухи - они маленькие и еле заметные, но их укусы подолгу проходят. Всем путешествующим рекомендую брать сильные репелленты, антигистаминные лекарства и мази. Также эти насекомые не кусают, если на кожу толстым слоем нанесено масло для загара или солнцезащитное средство (лайфхак, который помог в последующие дни нам избежать многочисленных укусов)

Hotel na rajskiej wyspie

Pros: Kameralny hotel znajdujący się na przepięknej dziewiczej wyspie, miła obsługa, smaczne i bardzo zróżnicowane posiłki (każda kolacja w innej tematyce np. włoska, meksykańska, seafood itp.). Jeżeli szukasz ciszy i beztroskiego spokoju to ten hotel jest idealny. Wypoczywając przed domkiem masz swój "prywatny" kawałek plaży, która każdego dnia jest czyszczona. Na miejscu dostępne wycieczki, rowery, SPA i szkoła nurkowania.

Cons: Duża ilość komarów i muszek, które bardzo uprzykrzały życie (mimo, że teren wyspy jest opryskiwany środkami na robaki). Hotelowy sklepik jest bardzo symboliczny, wybór jest znikomy a ceny bardzo wysokie. Wi-fi działało, ale słabo.

there is no reason to waste money coming to Hondaafushi Island Tropical Camp

Pros: island - beach, lagoon, tropical vegetation weather - sunny, clouds mostly on the horizon, occasional rain-shower in the evening or storm at night nice people (most of them), notably: . Jane (restaurant) - exceptional service, nice, attentive - simply amazing, should get a medal and a raise . Anithel and the rest of reception staff . two always smiling ladies from kitchen universal socket inlets reasonable prices

Cons: . searching Male airport for someone from Hondaafushi accommodation - worn out, notably: . bathtub not working - faucet almost torn off . throwing used toilet paper to a trash can where it sits until the next day your room guy takes it out - ridiculous, unhygienic and disgusting . water stream slowing down and speeding up constantly everywhere, impossible to tune, occasionally flooding the toilet area . cracked wash-basin . chipped mirror . safe on the floor in a dark wardrobe (so lucky to have that flashlight!) . paint coming off walls . ants partying on and around minibar . yellow stains on a pillow . insect splashed on walls . beach doors barely holding together, with gaps (welcome, mosquitos!) and rusty and slimy outside handle . couch outside with stains mosquitos everywhere, outside and inside gassing mosquitos (and everyone else) every afternoon with a small temporary (1-2 hours) effect. why bother? sand for a floor in restaurant and reception wi-fi - slow and sometimes not working at all gift shop - barely a shop, don't expect to buy any nice gifts there restaurant . poor and sad selection of meals and "desserts" - a few slightly different variants of the same every day. others offer about twice as much, a dozen different juices for breakfast (not two), real desserts, ice cream, etc. . flies on and around food . assigning a table, then changing it without notice and without asking . Fanta available in restaurant, but not available in minibar. why? . billing in the evening not for today, but for the day before . Nazmul (restaurant) - got this piece of work for two days. slow, sleepy and lazy, bad manners and bad attitude. refilling glasses without asking - lazy to come later. working for tips, but deserving none. getting none, then acting like a baby, shuffling around, pretending to be busy, not "serving" at all. the worst "waiter" in Maldives, and one of the worst ever.

recomendo para uma viajem de casal.

Pros: O quarto muito bom e grande. O ar condicionado funciona muito bem. O restaurante funciona muito bem para cafe da manha, almoço e jantar. muitas opcoes no buffet. recomendo fazer o jantar romântico na praia. todas as noites antes do jantar alimentamos os peixes no deck, muito legal.

Cons: Os drinks servidos na piscina e no restaurante podem melhorar. como a ilha tem muita area verde a noite tem que passar repelente, pois tem mosquitos.

Nice and calm hotel

Pros: Generally the hotel is nice and calm. It is quite minimalistic, there are only bungalows, restaurant, reception and bar, nothing else. But is you are looking for calm and relaxed stay - this hotel fits good. Island is big and there is a plenty space to walk around.

Cons: One moment almost ruined all our experience about this hotel. One night before our departure we were asked to change the room for lower level one, because "some VIP guests from the resort owner unexpectedly coming and they need our room". In exchange we were proposed a free massage:) Actually it was not cool at all to tell such things to clients. Luckily we had option to refuse such "generous proposal" and to stay in our room till the end of our stay in the hotel.

Pros: Dobře organizovaný transfer z Mali. Příjemné uvítání při check-inu. Deluxe vila je blízko k restauraci a její přístup k moři je moc pěkný. Personál je velmi snaživý, jak číšníci, tak uklízeči. Šéfkuchař vaří dobroty, jídla je více než dostatek. Kromě koupání v moři můžete šnorchlovat, chillovat v baru u sladkovodního bazénu, obcházet ostrov (4,34 km dokola), mají i tělocvičnu a potápěčské centrum.

Cons: Přes všechnu každodenní údržbu je vybavení pokoje mírně zašlé, je to vidět zejména v koupelně. Aby si udržel standard, měl by resort investovat do renovace. Je otázka jak se na něm projeví chystané rozšíření letiště Hanimaadhoo.

Pros: Трансфер организован чётко.Большой, зеленый остров.Южная половина состоит из непролазных джунглей через которые проложено несколько грунтовых дорог.В джунглях обитают птицы, летучие собаки и игуаны.Большинство посетителей курорта французы. Комфортабельные бунгало с высоким потолком и с душевой зоной под открытым небом.Хорошая кровать.Устойчивый Вай-Фай после 21:00.Всегда хороший напор горячей воды.Делюксы отличается от Стандартов только наличием ванны, но первые расположены лучше благодаря грамотной планировке предпляжной территории обеспечивающей необходимую приватность.Поскольку в Делюксах нет боковых окон они стоят друг к другу достаточно плотно и между ними нет прохода, а есть только кусты, которые плотной посадкой продолжаются на 40 шагов в сторону пляжа.То есть, каждое бунгало Делюкс получает приватный выход к пляжу в плотном зелёном коридоре кустарников и деревьев.В результате, никто постоянно не будет мотаться перед крыльцом вашего бунгало, а это дорогого стоит!В отличие от Делюксов, возле многих Стандартов плита старого рифа находится очень близко к пляжу, что затрудняет купание, но глубина везде позволяет купаться в любое время.Всюду по пляжу можно ходить босиком.Шведский стол хороший.Протяжённый риф расположен между северным и юго-восточным побережьем и на юго-востоке имеет обширный мелководный участок выдающийся далеко за пределы острова и переходящий в лагуну.Вода мутноватая.Течений в сторону океана не замечено.Это типичный мальдивский риф, то есть, конечно не коралловый сад, но отдельных колоний разнообразных кораллов не мало,Есть различные иглокожие: морские ежи, огурцы, лилии и звёзды.Встречаются небольшие кустики актиний двух видов, осьминоги и лобстеры.Много видов костистых рыб.Из крупняка встретил три вида акул и черепах.Ночью волны в изобилии выбрасывают на пляж крупный светящийся планктон.Москитов мало,- спрея вполне достаточно. Песчаные мухи не замечены.На снорклинг-экскурсию возят к заброшенному острову-курорту Алиду.Вода там тоже мутновата.

Cons: Знайте, что если Вы живёте в России и по понятным причинам договорились с курортом об оплате проживания и трансфера наличными долларами по приезду, то Вы рано радуетесь.За пару дней до заезда курорт активно начнёт требовать предоплату.Ссылки на письменную договорённость об оплате наличными по прибытии, попросту игнорируются. Пришлось подключать Букинг сотрудники которого звонили на курорт раз шесть.Вкратце результаты этого общения можно описать диалогом: Вы и Букинг: - " А можно так, утром стулья а вечером деньги?" Хондафуши Исланд Резорт: - "Можно, но деньги вперёд!" Вначале, за месяц до нашего прибытия согласиться на оплату наличными при заезде, а затем, за двое суток до нашего вылета, причём в выходные, начать требовать предоплату,- какой адекватный человек или организация так поступает? За каждым бунгало в ресторане закреплён отдельный столик и его обслуживает обычно один и тот же официант.Хорошо если Вам повезёт с официантом.Если же не повезёт, то скорость подачи напитков будет совсем не быстрой. Хотя десерты в ресторане есть, а объём чайных/кофейных кружечек всего 150 мл., десертные(чайные) ложки в дефиците и на столы их обычно не подают, а подают вместо них ложки размером с хорошую суповую.В бунгало много электрических розеток, но половина из них не работает.Потолочный вентилятор работает только на одной, самой низкой скорости. Возле южного берега острова, почему-то прямо на дороге огибающей остров вдоль берега, устроена свалка строительного мусора. Иногда, днём отходы на ней тлеют и малоприятный запах отчётливо ощущается на пляже и рифе возле этого побережья. Учитывая размеры острова, мусор на нём убирается достаточно хорошо, хотя часть пластикового мусора не убирают а попросту забрасывают в кусты.Предлагаю поставить в приоритет не уборку опавших листьев, а уборку именно пластикового мусора.

Schöne grosse Insel mit kleinen Macken :)

Pros: Sehr schöner Strand, das Baden in der Lagune. Tauchen mit der Tauchbasis von Diverland war auch super, trotz des nicht ganz intaktem Hausriff.

Cons: Für unser Geschmack zu weitläufig. 3x am Tag ins Restaurant und jedesmal ein 2 x 15 Min. Fussweg, da wir unser Bundalow (Nr. 150) fast am Inselkopfende bei der Poolbar hatten. Am Mittag war das ziemlich Grenzwärtig, bei dieser Stauhitze im Insel inneren. Der Strandabschnitt von Bongalow-Nr. 144 - 154 ist mit Korallblöcken belegt und nicht ganz so schön, wie die Umliegenden Abschnitte. Dann war bei unserem Aufenthalt eine ziemliche Mückenplage. Sie spritzen zwar zwischen 17-18 von Sa. bis Do. etwas gegen die Insekten, nützt aber bei der üppigen Planzen-Bewachsung nicht sehr viel. Das Essen ist ziemlich Abwechslungsreich, aber wir waren uns von anderen Inseln etwas mehr Auswahl gewohnt, gerade zum Frühstück. Müsliflocken, Kernen und verschiedene Früchtejoguhrt sowie Kokusnüsse haben wir vergeblich gesucht. Servietten hatten Sie im Restaurant auch zu wenig, da haben wir teilweise keine oder dann eine Kleenex-Box mit Papiertücher bekommen.

Traumhafte, naturbelassene Insel mit wunderschönem weissem Strand und türkis farbenem Wasser - einfach paradiesisch!

Pros: Wunderschöne Barfuss-Insel ganz im Norden der Malediven, erreichbar per Inlandflug (50 Minuten Direktflug) nach Hanimadhoo und Schnellboottransfer (10 Minuten). Traumhafter weisser Strand und türkis farbenes Meer, einfach paradiesisch. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, grosse Teile der Insel noch naturbelassen und äusserst ruhig. In einer Stunde kann man die Insel am Strand umrunden und begegnet kaum jemandem :-) Bungalows sind in gutem Zustand, mit Freiluftdusche ausgestattet und privatem Sitzplatz mit Sicht aufs Meer und schönen Sonnenaufgängen. Einige Bungalows müssen aufgrund Bodenerosion abgerissen und neu aufgebaut werden, sind aber mit Palmenblätter abgeschirmt und ich habe keinen Baulärm gehört. Das Restaurant bietet Buffet mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen (Themenabende), Qualität ist gut. Die Dessertauswahl war fantastisch, es gab stets köstliche Kuchen und Brownie-Kreationen :-) Wer nicht laufen mag, kann sich mit dem Buggy im Bungalow abholen lassen. Fand ich aber nicht nötig - mir gefiel der kurze Weg auf dem romantisch beleuchteten Sandpfad sehr. Die Thilabar mit Pool befindet sich ganz am Ende der Insel und bietet spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge an bester Lage mit Liegen und Hängematten unter Palmen sowie Schaukel am Strand. Cons: Sonnenschirme sind teilweise in die Jahre gekommen und daher in schlechtem Zustand - Schatten hatte ich aber trotzdem ;-) PET-Flaschen durch nachhaltigere Variante ersetzen. Gemäss GM ist eine eigene Glasabfüllanlage für die Insel bereits geplant.

Cons: very poor food quality. good selection of food but almost everything terribly cooked. I cant even imagine how it is possible to cook simple meals so terribly. Guys, if you can’t cook well simple meals just go fast food meals, but I still doubt if it helps as your pizza was always cold and terribly not tasty at all. there is no reachable snorkling spots, all snorkling spots are on the other side of the island where only you, beach, ocean and mosquitos: no sunbeds and sun umbrella there and ofc no bar, nothing. only one restaurant on the island, no a la cart menu and in-room dining. Very bad activities, actually no activities. when you go to watersports you find nothing, no boats, no pads, no jets. only 1 house with a sign “if you need something, go receiption” SPA. there is no classic spa. this resort spa makes me really laugh, laughing makes your life better, thats all you can get from the spa and this is enough. I give this resort the highest mark in advance and as the most of us who going to maldives, we go for relax, white beach and blue ocean all these things are in perfect condition on this island :)

Pros: В феврале 2022 уже были в этом же отеле и я писал подробный отзыв (там есть вещи, которые описаны подробно). В целом все также. Тихо и очень спокойно, народу мало. Персонал в целом очень внимательный и доброжелательный. С пирса можно увидеть весь набор подводной живности. Все это очень красиво и впечатляет. С пирса также можно плавать с маской, есть лестница для спуска в воду. В прошлый раз было очень много мошки, которая периодически кого-то кусала. В этот раз мошки не было совсем, были только комары, но с ними проще, после укусов следы быстро проходят, а если пользоваться обычными спреями от насекомых, то не кусают. Идет периодическая обработка территории от насекомых. Детям в отеле будет скучно, не рекомендую. Если поедете с детьми, то развлекать их придется полностью вам самим. Ребята в баре у бассейна лучше всех! Делают вкусные разнообразные коктейли, часть из коктейлей входят в систему все включено. Запоминают ваши предпочтения. Они всегда на позитиве, очень приятно. В целом очень тихий и спокойный отдых, если не любите шумные вечеринки, суету, то это место вам подойдет. Если едете, чтобы вечером погрузиться в движение с шоу программами, дискотеками и т.п., то это не сюда. Под утренний прилет в Мале подобран удобный трансфер, на данный момент вылет на остров в 12.05. Лететь 40 минут, потом катер 10-15 минут. Назад из отеля забирают в 3 ночи, в 12 дня и в 17.30 - в зависимости от времени вашего вылета из Мале. Трансфер зависит от расписания местного перелета и отель на это повлиять никак не может. Мы ездили на рыбалку ночную. В целом организовано все хорошо. Одно расстраивает, что время на саму рыбалку остается мало. Время рыбалки (выезд из отеля) - 17.00 начало, в 19.00 уже возвращают в отель. Минут 30-40 вы плывете до места ловли, столько же назад. Там, где мы начали ловить, не клевало совсем - еще минус 20 минут. Поменяли место, стало клевать, только вошли во вкус, надо уже уезжать.

Cons: 1. Как и в прошлый раз долгий сервис по получению багажа при приезде на остров. Мы приехали в 13.30 в отель, багаж в номер получили только в 15.00 после 3х звонков на ресепшен. Не могу понять, почему когда туристов везут на багги в номер нельзя сразу же везти и багаж!? Поэтому рекомендую брать как минимум купальные принадлежности в сумку с собой, чтобы не смотреть из номера на бирюзовый теплый океан 1.5 часа))! 2. Обслуживание в ресторане довольно сильно хромает, хотя после высказанных претензий прямо в отеле кое-что поменялось. Из основного: - завтрак в 8 утра начинается, кофе могли принести в 8.20, когда оно уже не требовалось - когда вечером с тарелкой еды садитесь за стол и например хотите пива, то довольно часто официант подходил минут через 10, а то и вовсе его надо было кричать, чтобы подошел. После заказа пива довольно часто его приносили еще минут через 10 ,т.е. тогда, когда вы уже заканчиваете ужинать и это пиво в целом уже и не требуется. - полное отсутствие элементарной вежливости от официантов - ни разу за все время проживания нам никто не сказал доброе утро/привет и т.п.. Официантов всего 2 и они просто проходят мимо, как-будто вас нет. На их лицах всегда отражены тоска и печаль, улыбки отсутствуют напрочь. - пару раз в 8 утра ресторан был не полностью готов к завтраку, соки появились пару раз в 8.05, а стаканы к ним в 8.15 ((((, яичницу иногда также начинали делать не в 8 утра. 3. wifi!!!!! В этот раз был кошмар. Более менее работало после 23 и до 6-7 утра. С 7 до 23 отправить или скачать файл было почти невозможно. Хотя watsapp работал четко всегда 4. Почему ночную рыбалку нельзя делать с 16.00 хотя бы, а не с 17.00, чтобы оставалось часа 2 именно на рыбалку? Данные претензии не только у меня, но и у достаточного количества русскоговорящих туристов, с которыми мы общались, находясь в отеле. Весь остальной персонал (от обслуживания домиков, до людей которые просто подметают дорожки) чудесен! Все улыбаются, здороваются, спрашивают как дела и...

Una bella isola con un buon resort

Pros: La posizione dell'hotel e l'isola meritano davvero molto. Il personale tutto molto cordiale e disponibile, sono tutti dei ragazzi giovani e si danno molto da fare. La zona piscina molto bella e ho apprezzato molto come hanno organizzato la cena dell'ultimo dell'anno e il party in piscina. L'isola ha un bel fondale con tanti pesci. Dove sono ubicati i bungalow l'acqua del mare è un po mossa e la spiaggia è enorme ma mancano dei lettini sulla spiaggia per poter prendere il sole. Ogni bungalow ha i suoi ma sono distanti e noi ad esempio eravamo in 4 con 1 lettino che dovevamo portare vicino al mare perché davanti al nostro bungalow c'erano gli scogli. Abbiamo quindi rinunciato a fare il bagno su questo lato dell'isola perché mancano i servizi. In zona piscina invece tutto funziona bene però per fare il bagno nel mare devi allontanarti un po' a piedi. Gli asciugamani puliti e asciutti sull'isola non mancano ne in camera ne nella zona piscina.

Cons: Il personale dell'area SPA è stato molto maleducato quando hanno occupato il nostro appuntamento con un'altra coppia senza scusarsi ne proporci degli sconti ecc... per il prossimo appuntamento visto il loro errore. Abbiamo dunque deciso di non usufruire di questo servizio a pagamento. Il cibo potrebbe essere un po' più curato, peccato che alla cena dell'ultimo dell'anno con aragoste e pesce freschissimo lo stesso non fosse cucinato a dovere ed era crudo. Il banco dolci e frutta buonissimo. Abbiamo avuto un problema per quanto riguarda le tempistiche del tampone e riteniamo che una struttura del genere deve conoscere le normative e adattarsi quando cambiano, per questo problema abbiamo dovuto rifare i tamponi in aeroporto pagandoli una cifra esorbitante. Inoltre non avevano capito, nonostante la prenotazione indicava 2 adulti e 2 ragazze non avevano capito che eravamo 4 persone e al nostro arrivo a Malé con stupore abbiamo capito che mancava un volo aereo interno per raggiungere l'isola, questo servizio era garantito dal resort a pagamento e il tutto era stato concordato in anticipo su Booking. Fortunatamente tutto si è risolto e il posto alla fine è stato trovato ma abbiamo dovuto attendere in aeroporto 3 ore!

An escape to a real piece of paradise on earth!

Pros: This is a GEM of a find, and while it's one extra domestic flight to get to the resort, it's worth the journey. You get direct access to the beach from your room and it felt like there was no one else on the resort despite being 80% full. The island is big so you can visit a different part each day and see something new. House reef is not too bad, I saw some dolphins one one of the days and a few baby sharks. Plenty of beautiful fish near the pier (we saw some angelfish, parrotfish, rays, tuna) and during a snorkelling trip, met a very cool hawksbill turtle. All the staff were exceptional, and went out of their way to make sure I was well looked after - thanks to Ali, Rajith, and the front office team for being so helpful! The resort is spectacular and very isolated - great for those looking for quiet getaways. The Thila bar is located on the far end, breezy and relaxed for chilling with a book. Hondaafushi's surroundings are just breathtaking, all day long you see blue, blue waters and all the sunsets, sunrises and starry skies were incredible to photograph. For the price, it was a fantastic deal at the height of year-end holidays. We've booked a return. :)

Cons: This is not a complaint, but more of a wish! The food team organised some pretty creative themed nights - Moroccan, Sri Lankan, Japanese, Maldivian, Italian etc and the food was spectacular. I'm one of those travelers who look forward to sampling local cuisine and Maldivian or Sri Lankan food is reputed to be some of the best in the world - so, it would be great if they had more Sri Lankan or Maldivian cuisine and spicier stuff. The head chef and his team did go out of their way to make something spicy when I requested - and it was so delicious! Here's to hoping we see more South Asian cuisine (appams, rotis, naan, spicy curries, spicy veg etc) on the menu as a regular offering.

Pros: -понравилось бунгало с огромным душем на свежем воздухе, большой и удобной кроватью, мощным и негромким кондиционером! хорошо убирали номер! великолепный выход к океану. - очень зелёный остров! обходили его вечером ( примерно 3 км) - уютный бар и бассейн с шикарным видом! -отзывчивый и приветливый персонал. -достаточно хорошо работал интернет.

Cons: -отсутсвие врача на острове! сгорело лицо на второй день отдыха ( такое случилось впервые) обратились за медицинской помощью , но врача на острове не оказалось!!!! ( даже не было аптечки первой помощи !!!) спасибо большое отдыхающей паре, которая помогла и дала пантенол и антигистаминный препарат! -комары и муравьи! незаметно кусают, а потом ходишь и чешешься. - не очень качественная еда( хоть и разнообразная) невкусные десерты. несколько раз болел живот(

Будьте осторожны и заранее готовьтесь на непредвиденные траты

Pros: Само нахождение в отеле было прекрасным: вовремя чистили пляж, вкусно кормили, были очень приветливые работники отеля и бара. Но советую прочитать мою историю ниже.

Cons: Добрый день, соотечественники, хочу поведать вам свою историю. Перед выселением потребовалась сдача пцр-теста. Результат у меня оказался положительным. Сотрудники сказали, что нужно приехать в столицу и сдать повторный анализ в местной лаборатории. Если результат будет отрицательный, то вылетаю в Россию, если положительный, надо будет отсидеть на карантине неделю. Я прилетаю в столицу, там встречают люди, информируют о стоимости и провожают до лаборатории. После привозят обратно, и тут начинается самое "интересное". Человек, который сотрудничает с этим отелем, и на почту которого должен прийти результат моего пцр-теста, заявляет, что раз у меня был положительный анализ, надо заплатить ему 400 баксов, чтобы он постарался сделать мне отрицательный результат. Я в шоке. Звоню в отель, там говорят, что это ерунда какая-то такого не может быть. Далее следуют несколько часов разговоров и ожидания. За это время я звонил в отель, общался с людьми в аэропорту, которые безбожно врали, а после разоблачения говорили, что это мы не так все поняли. Мне надо было понять, развод ли это на деньги или нет. Обратился на стойку информации, чтобы узнать, у кого можно сделать тест. Там меня направили к этому же дяде. Тут я понимаю, что все у них там куплено, и все работают в связке. После переговоров мне предложили сделать отрицательный результат уже за 200 баксов. К этому времени я уже ненавидел Мальдивы, этот отель и всех людей, которые причастны к этой системе вымогания денег. Я был готов заплатить любые деньги, лишь бы скорее покинуть это место. Человек, который занимался моим тестом, показал два результата: положительный и отрицательный. Я снял деньги в банкомате, мы подошли на стойку регистрации, он показал результат работнику авиакомпании, а он следом распечатал билет. В итоге отрицательный результат обошелся в 40000 рублей На этом история закончилась.

Это реально рай на земле

Pros: Понравилось вообще абсолютно все! Реально райских отдых! Море самое лучшее из всех что видели. Подводный мир - 5 баллов. Впервые в жизни был дайвинг, для тех кто ни разу не пробовал - этот отель отличное место для старта, инструктор очень опытный. При погружении видели много разных рыб, скатов и акулу размером метра 2. Так же ездили на ночную рыбалку, наловили кучу рыбы, самую большую нам в этот же вечер приготовил на гриле шеф повар. Алкоголь порадовал, голова не болела. В целом остров выглядит как кусок дикой природы, столько разных крабов не встречали вообще нигде. Номера это отдельная песня - аутентичные и в тоже время очень уютные, лучше брать бунгало делюкс - там лучше пляж. В номере убирали каждый день, отдельное спасибо за это Rashed Alam). Я думал мальдивы это чисто тюлений отдых, но за 10 дней под зонтом лежали только 1 раз, остальное время лазили по острову и занимались снорклингом. Больше всего понравилось снорклить на дальней стороне острова, противоположной бару с бассейном. Очень понравился персонал, такого клиентоориентированного и приветливого персонала не встречали ни в одной стране мира! Так же отельное спасибо барменам у бассейна - крутые ребята. Это первый отель куда мы запланировали вернуться еще раз! Словами это не передать, приезжайте сами все увидите) Своих денег однозначно стоит.

Cons: Возможно из того набора продуктов которые там были, еда могла быть немного вкуснее, хотя и так все было супер.

Свадебное путешествие

Pros: Мы отдыхали с 17.03 по 24.03 на этом райском острове. Отель новый, открыт вроде в 2019 году, отработал всего год, потом на год был закрыт в связи с пандемией ковид-19, после чего сменил собственника. Таким образом он произвёл перезагрузку. Персонал максимально старается произвести положительное впечатление. Трансфер до острова организован отлично, в аэропорту Мале имеется лаундж зона. Общее время трансфера чуть больше часа. Встречает отель своих гостей радушно, всем коллективом, улыбками, лепестками цветов и приветственными коктейлями. Заселение быстрое, к оплате принимают как наличные, так и банковские карты. По острову можно перемещаться на гольф каре с водителем. Остров реально большой, половину занимает дикая природа, непроходимые джунгли, можно почувствовать себя на необитаемом острове. Бунгало расположены в огромной голубой лагуне. Вид невероятный. Заход в воду очень удобный, пляж ежедневно убирают, поэтому он идеальный. На противоположном конце острова в южной его части находится риф, он целый, красивый, советую снорклить во время прилива ближе к вечеру, будет удобнее. Видели акул, скатов, множество рыб. Несколько раз персонал выпускал в океан маленьких черепашек. Номера чистые, новые, уборка ежедневная. Wi-Fi бесплатный. Так как мы были в свадебном путешествии, нам подарили посещение спа. Массаж балийский, на все тело, очень понравился. 7 ночей пролетели как один миг. Обратный трансфер организован также на высшем уровне. В общем, впечатления от пребывания в этом отеле можно описать одним словом - восторг!

Cons: Отель не был открыт для приема туристов с 1 марта 2021 года в соответствии с заверениями менеджера, у которого мы уточняли информацию по бронированию. При этом бронирование на начало марта отель продолжал предлагать. В результате отель был заменен на другой, не соответствующий нашим предпочтениям - более старый номерной фонд, смежные номера. Поскольку информация о замене была предоставлена менее чем за 2 недели до прилета, выбора нам фактически не оставили, все рассматриваемые нами альтернативные варианты на этот момент оказались уже раскуплены. Поэтому оценку возможно поставить только менеджменту отеля, намеренно вводящему гостей в заблуждение относительно сроков открытия отеля и возможности бронирования.

Перенос бронирования

Cons: К сожалению, нет возможности оценить данный отель. Мы (семья из 4-х взрослых) забронировали отель с 8 по 21 марта 2021 ещё в начале января. На момент бронирования отель не был официально открыт для посещения туристами , но его открытие, согласно ответу менеджера отеля, было запланировано на начало февраля. Мы регулярно отслеживали открытие отеля на сайте Министерства Туризма, когда же и в середине февраля отеля не было в этих списках, мы еще раз задали вопрос в отель, на что получили ответ о дате открытия 1 марта. Каково же было наше удивление получить оповещение от менеджера отеля 22 февраля, что отель не будет открыт в установленные сроки и наши брони они переносят в отель-партнер Filitheyo Island Resort, сохраняя все условия. И все бы было ничего, если бы не более низкое качество другого отеля (устаревший номерной фонд, услуги, не соответствующие заявленной «четвёрки»), платный интернет ( правда, нам удалось его получить комплиментарно). В результате Hondaafushi Island Resort официально открылся 15 марта, но на сайте в booking.com места для бронирования оставались доступны и до 15 числа, что не соответствует действительности и, считаю, нечестным такое отношение резорта к своим гостям.

HOLIDAYS IN PARADISE

Pros: The island is a jewel in the Maldives. I think is one of the last places left , where you have kilometers of virgin beach. If you like the privacy, wonderful laguna, white fine sand you have to go. Good service with transfer from Male, excellent service from all the staff , nice bungalow and good food . Pros: Очень хороший вариант цена качество. Всё включено интересно будет всем, кто пьёт крепкие напитки, коктейли и пиво. Вино домашнее, из пакетиков. Шампанское никакое не входит. Кофе в номере и бар тоже во все включено не входит. На разницу в 50 долларов можно выбрать пару бутылок норманого вина. Или шампанское. Кухня вполне достойная. На обед и ужин делают барбекю мясо рыба морепродукты. Много кари, индийских блюд. Овощи и фрукты. Несколько вариантов десертов. Цены на алкоголь меньше чем в отелях 5🌟. Вино и шампанское от 24 долларов. Вход в море идеальный. И глубина! По животу кораллы на царапают. Очень красивый бассейн, там же бар, там же закаты. Никаких детей, музыки, шума. Очень спокойный остров, с хорошей ценой и комфортом. Уборка номера, территории без нареканий. Виллы до номера 120 с идеальным большим пляжем. Но где-то 50-70 метров от моря. Виллы 120-125 очень приватные, до моря 5-10 метров.

Cons: Есть мошки, но кусают очень выборочно. Отпугивали желающих мазью типа звездочка.

Шикарный новый чистый курорт

Pros: Курорт шикарный! Понравилось все: новые, чистые виллы, прекрасный белоснежный пляж, бирюзового оттенка океан, дружелюбное обслуживание, красивый остров, божественная кухня! Вид из виллы райский! Персонал очень приветливый, везде встречали и сопровождали. Отдельно хочу отметить ресторан, большое разнообразие блюд, все очень вкусно, особенно понравились супы и десерты. Отдых получился незабываемым, превзошел все ожидания.

Cons: Не было оборудования для дайвинга, из-за чего дайвинг не состоялся. Оборудование застряло на таможне. Также, не очень повезло с погодой, было много дождей.

Ho scelto questo resort dopo averne visti molti e devo dire di aver fatto la scelta giusta! Senza agenzia di viaggio abbiamo visto le recensioni e i video di altri ospiti e confermo la bontà delle recensioni! La location ovviamente è spettacolare come tutte quelle delle Maldive! Ci si arriva con un volo interno da Malé, sempre organizzato dal resort in circa un’ora (con uno scalo, ma resti in aereo), poi ti vengono a prendere e raggiungi l’atollo in motoscafo in circa 10 minuti. Il resort occupa quasi la metà dell’isola e la restante è selvaggia e puoi visitarla a piedi tranquillamente via spiaggia (il resort ti lascia anche delle torce 🔦 per fare delle passeggiate notturne). Il resort è gestito da personale giovane e sempre sorridente; ti vengono a prendere se non hai voglia di camminare con i loro buggy elettrici nel rispetto della natura. Camera bellissima fronte mare con aria condizionata autonoma, due lettini e ombrellone che la mattina ti vengono ad aprire. Poco fornito lo shop della reception, peccato perché non hanno neppure dei gadget di ricordo. Possono fare sicuramente di più da questo punto di vista. Il ristorante è turistico e forse è la nota più dolente (ma da italiani, qualsiasi cucina parte sconfitta!!!); poche attività sportive tolto lo snorkeling o le immersioni che comunque consiglio (mancano ad esempio le moto d’acqua), i gommoni o i materassini (che da stupido ho dimenticato, e non hanno da vendere); il Thila bar è fornito e anche qui i ragazzi sono sempre sorridenti! Poche serate anche qui (karaoke una sera e dj set dance ma con musica un po’ datata)! La pulizia della camera è da 5*, così come la disponibilità (una sera alle 2 del mattino li abbiamo chiamati per un geco in camera e sono arrivati subito. Abbiamo fatto un massaggio alla Spa e le ragazze sono state sufficientemente brave. Il mare ovviamente è spettacolare, la piscina non l’abbiamo usata ma a mio avviso è una cosa superflua con un mare così! Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile! Lo consiglio!

This island, this resort was amazing, I’ll start of with the staff they were very helpful and knowledgeable and if i had any concerns they were quick to help, the airline lost my luggage and the staff at the reception did all they could to help me like calling the airport to track my luggage etc unfortunately it was not found but no fault of the resort that was due to the airline. My room was amazing, nice and spacious we booked the Delux beach bungalow and i have to recommend it the room was large with exquisite furnishings and the bathroom was beautiful with an outdoor shower, we had a front porch with small seating and the view of the ocean, from the door to the ocean is probably about 20 second walk. The ocean was mesmerising never have i seen a color like this and i have travelled to beaches around the world with soft beautiful white sand. There were baby black tip reef sharks swimming close to the shoreline and the beach near to us was full of spotted dart. On the other side of the island is where you prepare to get your mind blown walk to the jetty with your snorkelling gear and be prepared to see all the different types of fish you could see in the Maldives the only unfortunate thing was I didn’t have my underwater camera to film what i could see truly amazing. The food was delicious but by the end of the trip i did get sick of it slightly so the only criticism i could give is maybe abit more variety but it might just br my opinion as i am a picky eater, breakfast was always spot on and the desserts and fresh fruit was top class, the waiters at the restaurant was very helpful especially Nazmul, the excursion were amazing we saw turtles at the snorkelling trip and managed to catch some fish on fishing trip the team on these excursions were excellent especially Ahmed who looked after us very well, Overall i would definitely recommend this place and come back in the future.

Ich durfte 2 erholsame Wochen auf dieser Trauminsel verbringen. Der Bungalow war groß und sehr sauber. Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt. Praktisch ist, dass man wenn man nicht laufen möchte einen kleines Golfcar rufen kann. Die Speisen waren immer frisch und der Ausblick Traumhaft schön! Ich habe mich sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Ich komme sehr gern wieder 😍

Staff muito atencioso e prestável, muito boa organização da viagem de Malé até à ilha do resort (inclusive ficamos num lounge em Malé enquanto esperavamos pelo avião para chegarmos à ilha com acesso a wifi, refeição e wc) bem como do resort para o aeroporto; limpeza do quarto bem feita e todos os dias (com troca de toalhas). Restaurante: boa comida com muita variadade e quantidade, o staff estava sempre a limpar as mesas e a trazer nova bebida (caso quiséssemos).

I had the most incredible stay at Hondaafushi Resort in the Maldives! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The resort's breathtaking surroundings, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine white beaches, were simply paradise. The villa I stayed in was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was perfect, from the delicious dining options to the variety of activities available, including snorkeling and spa treatments. I left Hondaafushi Resort with unforgettable memories and a longing to return to this slice of heaven. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Maldivian getaway!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Hondaafushi island resort und ja wir würden wiederkommen. Die Anreise erfolgt von Male per 40 Minütigen Inlandsflug danach ca 15 Minuten Speedboot. Wer Ruhe sucht ist genau richtig bislang ist nur ein Viertel der Insel bebaut. Es gibt ein Restaurant eine Bar und ein Spa. Es gibt kein hausriff aber Schnorcheltouren.Das Team ist herzlich und freundlich das Essen hat uns sehr gefallen hiermit nochmals einen Gruß für das komplette Küchen und Service Team. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Rashid vom Housekeeping und die Jungs von der Bar. Das Spa ist einfach eingerichtet aber absolut herrlich. Wer mag kann sich ein Fahrrad ausleihen was uns wirklich Freude bereitet hat. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist wirklich gut wir kommen gern wieder. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Auflagen der Sonnenliegen sollten gereinigt werden und für die Bar ein paar Sonnenschirme. Ich empfehle diese Insel.

Que dire de ce super séjour ou nous avons passé 10 nuits exceptionnelles en mars. Une très belle île, le cadre est magnifique, la plage devant le logement et la couleur est époustouflante ! Le coin piscine avec le bar pour admirer le coucher du soleil est parfait aussi, tout le personnel est génial tous au petit soin, que ce soit au restaurant, de la personne qui s'occupe du logement, il sont tous top. La nourriture du restaurant était variée et très bonne, les activités que l'hôtel propose sont sympas, la pêche et la plongée c'est magique Par contre vu que l'île est assez grande dès que l'on va dans la partie "sauvage" on retrouve pleins de détritus sur le bord de la plage, bouteille en plastique, brosses à dent ...c'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de nettoyage de fait dans cette zone. Le voyage pour arrivé jusqu'à l'île est un peu long du fait de sa situation géographique tout au nord. Nous ne regrettons pas du tout d'avoir choisit ce séjour.

Une île magnifique avec de belles plages et une eau chaude et turquoise. L'activité principale est le snorkeling et nous en prenons plein les yeux avec les requins, poisson, tortue etc.. l'accueil est très bon ainsi que les chambres confortables, la nourriture a volonté et bien diversifier. Bref je recommande fortement cet établissement !!

Le lieu est magique et paradisiaque, l’équipe est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Les chambres sont superbes, propres, agréables et avec sur belle vu sur la mer bleue. On y trouve excursion, bar, piscine, plage, SPA, kayak etc. Les levés et coucher de soleil sont à faire chaque jour, c’est magnifique. L’excursion de snorkeling est géniale et inoubliable, on y voit raie, tortue, requin etc La restauration est très variée et c’est très bon, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. On recommande fortement cette île magique 🙏🏼

Avis positifs : dépaysement, gentillesse du personnel, cadre idyllique Avis négatifs : le personnel de réception ne tient jamais le même discours. Tout au long du séjour, on a posé des questions pour préparer notre départ comme nous voyageons avec un enfant de 2 ans et le jour j nous ne pouvons garder notre chambre ou en avoir une autre bien-sûr nous comptons payer ce service. Ils nous propose d'attendre 5h au bar avec un enfant qui fait encore la sieste tandis que d'autres voyageurs partant aux mêmes horaires que nous bénéficient soit de leur chambre ou ils ont pu en avoir une autre. Ils n'ont pas du tout le sens des priorités et ce n'était pas faute d'avoir anticipé notre départ Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel je pense qu'il peut y avoir mieux aux Maldives

Nous avons passés une semaine de rêve à Hondaafushi. Tout le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable, l’hôtel splendide, les excursions géniales et le buffet du restaurant excellent. La prise en charge par l’hôtel du transfert s’est déroulée parfaitement, nous avons été accompagnés du début à la fin. Aucun stress a avoir de ce côté là. Nous tenions à remercier tout le personnel qui ne cesse d’être souriant, avenant et serviable et qui a contribué à ce que notre séjour se passe à merveille. Vous pouvez aller dans cet hôtel les yeux fermés. Nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus, le départ a été lourd en émotion 🥲

Fazit unseres 3. Besuchs: Hondaafushi ist nach wie vor eine der wenigen Inseln, die noch etwas vom ursprünglichen Malediven-Feeling bewahren konnte. Es gibt keine hässlichen Wasserbungalows, keine Wellenbrecher oder Betonbarrieren im Wasser, keinen Juwelier und andere Schicki-Micki Einrichtungen. Barfuß geht auf der gesamten Insel, auch im Restaurant. Es gibt auf jeder Seite eine wunderschöne Lagune, weitgehend ohne Korallenschutt, die das Baden und Schwimmen sowohl bei Ebbe als auch bei Flut erlaubt. Feiner weißer Sandstrand, der täglich gereinigt wird, urwaldähnlicher Bewuchs im Inselinneren. Die Nordhälfte der Insel scheint völlig unberührt zu sein und die Ostseite hat noch fast keine Bebauung. Man kann hier für maledivische Verhältnisse lange Spaziergänge machen. Leider gibt es auf Hondaafushi beim Schnorcheln am Riff nur wenig zu sehen, Baden und Relaxen sind hier also angesagt. Was sich noch verbessern kann: - Das Obstangebot war sehr eingeschränkt. Wasser- und Honigmelone sowie Äpfel gab es immer, oft auch Papaya, Banane, und Ananas, allerdings waren oft sehr viel unreife Exemplare dabei. Maracujas gab es nur für Wisssende, sie lagen nicht zur Auswahl auf dem Tresen. - Trotz geheizter Behälter am Buffet, war das Essen oft nicht wirklich heiß. - Unsere Fensterfront war von außen durch Salz, Staub und Kondenswasser ziemlich blind und wurde über 14 Tage nicht gereinigt. - Bei früheren Besuchen wurde man als Fußgänger vom vorbeifahrenden Elektobuggy-Fahrer stets gefragt, ob man nicht mitfahren wolle. Diesmal gab es keine solchen Angebote mehr. - Die Bungalows haben inzwischen an vielen Stellen Renovierungsbedarf. Unser Eindruck ist, dass es jedes Jahr weniger Fische in der Lagune und am Steg und weniger Flughunde und Koels gibt; dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Positives: - Ausnahmslos sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Keine Trinkgeld-Bettelei. Der Service sowohl im Restaurant wie auch an der Bar ist vorbildlich. - Wenn auch das Essensangebot natürlich nicht immer unseren Geschmack traf, muss doch erwähnt werden, dass die Küche sehr viele Variationen aufs Buffet bringt, darunter auch ungewöhnliche Kombinationen. Selbst beim Frühstück gibt es jeden Morgen andere Buffet-Angebote. - Bungalow-Wünsche vor der Ankunft werden offensichtlich nach Möglichkeit berücksichtigt, wir bekamen jedenfalls nach unseren mail-Anfragen stets die gewünschte Behausung. - Für “Repeater“ wird mittlerweile Einiges getan, wir bekamen z.B. eine Flasche Wein und ein spezielles mehr-gängiges Essen in einem Strandzelt.

Прилетели на Мале аэрофлотом 30 января ,нас встретил представитель турфирмы проводил в аэропорт местных авиалиний,там же нас проводили на второй этаж где мы перекусили и попили ,что было очень приятно так как мы были с маленьким ребенком и уставшие.Так же нам помогли оформить багаж на местный самолет и вскоре мы полетели на другой остров,еще немного на лодке и мы прибыли на свой остров. Перелет если честно утомителен и в будущем мы десять раз подумаем. Встретили нас на пирсе ,довезли на миникаре к ресепшену ,там встретили освежающими полотенчиками и напитками. Оформили быстро и повезли в наше бунгало номер 150 ,но по приезду мы поняли ,что это точно не то что нужно,сразу на входе в море большие валуны и камни кругом с ребенком это просто не приемлемо после непродолжительного общения нам предложили за дополнительную плату сменить бунгало,мы другого выхода кроме как заплатить не видели. Нас снова повезли на рецепшен для переоформления бунгало и наконец мы заселились. Номер бунгало 120 замечательный пляж ,мягкий песочек,два лежака закрепленных за бунгало. сам номер очень простенький,но чистый,не работал кабель для телевизора,но мы его за все время ни разу и не включали,нам это не нужно так как мы были постоянно на море,ну а вечером по возвращению с прогулок ложились спать. Кто привык к турецкому разнообразию в еде,здесь этого нет,но голодными не останетесь,из фруктов бананы,яблоки,ананасы,дыни и маракуя( которая лежала всегда под столом и ее нужно спрашивать иначе кто не знает останется без нее).Анимации нет совершенно никакой,на конце острова есть бассейн и бар,он один на весь остров,в часа четыре там подают бутерброды и печенье,я так предполагаю из продуктов которые остались с обеда.Мы попали на новогодний ужин,он был хорош,очень много как оказалось есть морепродуктов,несколько сортов рыбы,лангусты,креветки,устрицы и т.д.Кстати креветки и мидии часто присутствуют в меню. На острове есть дайвинг центр,кому это интересно,инструктор молодец,научить как нырять и проведет подводную экскурсию. Весь персонал очень дружелюбный и улыбчивый стараются максимально улучшить ваше пребывание на острове. номер у нас убирали хорошо,даже ванну с цветочками набирали,что было очень приятно,за что большое спасибо нашему уборщику.Минибар в номере не пополняется,мы брали газировку в баре на бассейне и пополняли сами,спиртное есть,но платное. У мужа был день рождения,его поздравили тортиком,который мы попросили перевести в бар и там раздали деткам. Несколько раз были выступления местных артистов,так же если кто пьет на пляже накрывали столики бала коктейльная вечеринка коротенькая,есть один безалкогольный коктейль. Так же мы выпускали один раз черепашек в море.это понравилось не только детям .но и взрослым. Рыбки на острове живут на пирсе ,там можно понырять с масками ну и покормить их хлебом который возьмете в столовой,акул нет,за все время видели одну маленькую и одну средненькую поздно вечером,когда ходили на пирс кормить рыбок.В общем отдых очень спокойный и развлекать нужно себя самим,деткам здесь очень скучно. Возьмите с собой обязательно спрей от укусов и до,что бы обработать открытые участки кожи вечером,иначе укусы очень сильно чешутся.остров хоть и обрабатывают,но вечером это не действует. Так же запаситесь медикаментами,так как это остров и всякое может быть.

+ wonderful and friendly staff, always ready to support. Especially staff in the restaurant. + exceptional transfer service from Male airport. No questions. Everything was done just perfect. + natural beauty of the island and its flora and fauna + no crowds of tourists, you may feel like you’re absolutely alone, the only place where you can meet up with others is the restaurant + white and clean powder sand on the beach + good dive spot on the jetty 2. We’ve seen a plenty of different colourful fishes, sting rays, eagle rays, sharks and turtles once + kayak, paddle surfs and other water equipment are available for rent + open shower in the room. It’s a great pleasure having shower at night and watching bright stars + fish feeding, everyday at 19:30 the personal feeds fishes from jetty 1. So you may see sting rays, sharks and other creatures at this time. - the food was pretty ok, however you will never be hungry. The dishes from tuna were really great. - the toilets in some rooms look old and tired. And it seems like it needs a replacement or some repairing works. - the free wifi in the rooms. It’s enough to send messages and pictures on WhatsApp but it’s not enough to scroll your Facebook or instagram feed on the peak hours. There is a 4g mobile coverage on the island, so a local SIM card or an international roaming may alleviate this issue. - not many different night activities. But we didn’t need them to be honest. There are some karaoke nights, local drum show, djs and so on. Before coming I read some reviews about mosquitoes and sandflies, tourists were complaining about them. Well, to be honest, I cannot say they are annoying or that there is a plenty of angry insects. During all 10 days which I spent on this beautiful island I was bitten by mosquitoes just once. I’m pretty sure the nature will not spoil your vacation. The resort staff regularly do the fumigation work. However you always can take a repellent with you. And one more important thing. It’s recommended to take deluxe bungalows because they are closer to the restaurant and have easy access to the perfect beach and entrance to the ocean. If you take a superior bungalows (they are also good), don’t take a number more than 146 because the water can come very close to your bungalow (in high tides or stormy days) and entrance to the ocean can be a little bit difficult because of stones nearby. All rooms before 146 inclusively are good. All in all, this a good choice for your vacation in the Maldives for this price.

The rooms are tired and the management is need of a change! We were all inclusive and there was no white wine for 3 days and then when we complained the manager miraculously produced white wine. Day 6 the wine ran out again and we were told we had to pay for it!! I told them that I had paid for an all inclusive service! The food was mediocre but the chef tried really hard. If you like a nice refreshing salad… forget it as there was no green lettuce for 3 days!! I have been to some spectacular islands in the Maldives but this is the worst!! Never again!

Posizione fantastica, ma alle Maldive difficile trovare un posto brutto! Il resort è un po’ vecchiotto, necessiterebbe di un aggiornamento sia nelle camere che nelle parti comuni. Ha delle ottime potenzialità ma non sono sfruttate attualmente. Il ristorante è troppo turistico e ti fa subito sentire la mancanza della cucina di casa (tutto troppo speziato). Poche attività per passare il tempo. Il personale invece è molto giovane e gentile. Alla fine è il giusto compromesso tra rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Had a fabulous time at the island. Found staff very friendly and accommodating. General Manager was great. Island and beach is stunning. Third trip to Maldives and will return. This island is lovely if you are looking for small island. If you are looking for an animation team and full night entertainment then you may need to choose a different resort. For us this was heaven. Found food varied, interesting and tasty. Rooms kept very clean and temp in sea wonderful and the sand stunning. House reef ok snorkellingvtrip great saw turtles, sharks and much more. So generally lovely peaceful quiet island where staff are hospitable.

This is South Asia’s idea of holiday resort paradise. They would say that. They need tourist money. In truth this is a pale reflection of the true paradise islands, further away, especially for Europeans. I mean the South Pacific, as much written about and painted by the greatest authors and artists. Places like this are merely similar by virtue of the warm ocean, white sand, sense of privacy because it is not crowded, BUT the sense of exotica and sense of tropical luxury are lacking. It requires at least two internal plane flights after Columbo, on smelly old aircraft the voyage company might not tell you about. By the time you arrive exhausted on the fast ferryboat, despite smiley service from the many underpaid workers, you soon realise it suffers from a shambolic mix of Third World features dressed up as super. It is not super, nor paradise. Its good features just about outweighed its problems. Just. One pleasant young manager with a brief from the owner to make improvements, resigned whilst we were there and confided that management did not listen over pressing issues especially on the restaurant: well laid out, but their chefs with limited ability. In trying to cater for so many nationalities (I counted twelve over the fifty or so beach bungalows) the chefs make a mess trying to meet all tastes. Food ingredients might be good, (but NOT the halal for which there no demand) some vegetable dishes OK, but ALL meat is under or overcooked, not temperature controlled, especially fish, causing sickness. Was no fun seeing children vomit under dinner tables on our last night. Beach bungalows are clean and beds/bedding excellent, but the fancy outside shower areas very hazardous and obviously created by some builder more concerned with image than function. Swimming pool is excellent but careful of nails in woodwork. Mosquitoes a problem. Pricing of excursions-silly, hard to understand, written in Germglish. All in all, the place is obviously in decline, needs a sort out. Saving grace for my family was wallowing in the shallow blue waters, walking on the sand every day and pleasant service, but big tips are expected. Overall, it was definitely NOT value for money. Don’t go unless you are very tolerant. Take extra toilet paper. We took their stomach bug home with us.

Wir verbrachten 9 Nächte unserer Flitterwochen in einem Deluxe Bungalow. Wir genossen den direkten Strandzugang, die Ruhe und trotzdem auch einzelne Aktivitäten wie Delphin-Trip oder Nachtfischen. Schnorcheln dürfte auch atemberaubend sein, haben wir jedoch nicht gemacht. Die Bungalows sind minimalistisch eingerichtet, doch völlig ausreichend. Outdoor-Dusche ist aufgrund der Moskitos gewöhnungsbedürftig- wir empfehlen Räucherstäbchen oder Kerzen mitzunehmen. Teilweise waren die Moskitos und Sandflöhe zu spüren, wir hatten aber Insektenspray dabei, damit ging’s. Wetter war Ende Oktober wechselhaft, es hat jeden Tag mal kurz geregnet, oder etwas bewölkt. Trotzdem bekommt man genug Sonne ab. Unsere Sonnencreme ging aus. Im Shop gab es welche, jedoch zu einem unverschämten Preis von fast 50 Dollar (mind. 3x so teuer als bei uns). Die Verpflegung war gut. Was uns besonders gefiel war die gesunde und „regionale“ Küche. Es gab zB keine Pommes frites oder zuckersüße Speisen. Sie kochen viel mit Gemüse, Reis, Curry, Kokosmilch und Alternativen Süßungsmittel. Für unseren kleine Sohn war auch immer etwas dabei, für größere Ki der könnte die Auswahl aber vl etwas mickrig ausfallen. Die Getränkeauswahl bei All-Inclusive war völlig ausreichend und ok. Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht, nicht aufdringlich. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Robiul- Roomboy Ahmed - Watersports Nazmul - Kellner Sakinthala - Früchte, Küche Die WLAN-Verbindung war schlecht, aber im Urlaub sollte das eh nicht wichtig sein. Zusammengefasst war es ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub auf einer wunderschönen Insel. Es ist alles toll organisiert. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und nett. Kinder sind willkommen, jedoch finde ich, dass es nur bis zu einem gewissen Alter von ca 4 Jahren spannend und lustig ist für die Kids, denn es gibt nicht viele Kinderattraktion.

The power was cut off for maintenance issues which was an inconvenience being that it was shut off 3 times in less than 2 days, and those last 2 days were the end of our stay. It was very frustrating. This happened between Oct 26-28. As stated, these were the last 2 days of our stay when the power was cut off for maintenance.

Были с женой в конце сентября. Прекрасное, тихое место, до которого весьма долго добираться - учитывайте, что нужно еще лететь местными авиалиниями и не всегда их расписание совпадает с расписанием международных рейсов. Мы летели через Бахрейн, прибытие около 6 утра и успели на рейс в 7 с чем то утра (и на нем были места) - но, если бы нет, пришлось бы сидеть в аэропорту практически до полудня... Так себе удовольствие... Сам остров подойдет только для тех, кто ищет уединение. Вокруг коралловые рифы, очень красивые (если плавать в районе бара - прям напротив качелей). И больше никаких развлечений (для нас это большой плюс: отсутствие шума, анимации и т.д.) - но если ищете движ - то точно не сюда. На острове всего около 50 домиков, мы жили в самых последних (ближе у бару) - мне показалось, оптимальнее с точки зрения уединения, но заход в океан больше каменистый (плевать, тапки были). Если нужен чисто песок - нужно просить домики ближе к ресторану. Черепах - видели, акул - видели (и совсем маленьких, см в 50 у пляжа на прибое, и побольше, в метр - полтора на рифах и глубине). Скатов видели. И даже летучих мышей видели (их там полно). Мне понравилось все это больше, чем в Египте... Еда в отеле - на твердую тройку - но (хозяйке на заметку) - у них там есть острый соус (в остром уголке), который по утрам вместе с супом прям таки спасает и наполняет мир красками... Очень душевно, особенно под пиво... А так - два три вида рыбы во всех вариациях (жареная, печеная, карри, в салате, на гриле) - с голода не умрешь, но как то без удовольствия. Фрукты - папайя, маракуйя, ананас, дыня, арбуз, яблоки, апельсины, бананы - очень душевно. Учитывая общее впечатление от отеля, на качество кухни просто закрываешь глаза - да и сложно организовать что то, похожее на Египет, учитывая количество народа на острове. Алко - вполне приличная. коктейли душевные. Но - если пьете много - all inclusive ваш выбор. В розницу - пиво около 5 баксов, коктейль - 7 - 8 баксов. Особо не разгуляешься. На All inclusive так же включены 2 экскурсии (купание с масками и рыбалка) - раз включено - почему бы и нет - но платить за них я бы не стал. В сухом остатке - очень понравилось, если понимать, чего ждать и с чем придется мириться...

Was a great experience. The staff is really friendly. The beach, restaurant and the room is very well clean. The spa service is very good. The restaurant serves an average food, nothing spectacular but very well served. We did a special dinner on the beach. I really recommended.

Приехали на Мальдивы в четвертый раз. Для нас важным критерием были : дайвинг, экскурсия с мантами и белоснежный песок ( именно песок, а не мелкие кораллы). Не во всех резортах есть дайвинг и манты! Встретили нас на острове, заселили, было уже темно и соответственно пляжа у бунгало не видно. Но с утра…., мы были в шоке. Ужас….камни, в воду не зайти, от слова СОВСЕМ!!!! По скольку мы уже знаем все - Мальдив, для меня это было не приемлемо. Пошли сразу на ресепшен, без проблем поменяли, ну чтоб сказать что номер нам дали прям супер, нет…, но лучше чем было. Вообщем при бронирование, просите номера с 101- 130 или с 156- 160, там прямо песок песок. Что касаемо пляжа, действительно песок ( мука), он супер👍 НО…, берите с собой тапки для плаванья, очень много кораллов и в воде попадаются камни огромные. По еде: так мы еще ни разу не ели…, полный отстой. Супы пюре и вообще не вкусные. В итоге за 12 дней мы ели макароны с разными гарнирами и картошка, которая не всегда была готовая. Есть совершенно нечего. Мороженое вкусное, десерты то же, фрукты : арбуз, дыня, папайя, маракую, апельсины, яблоки, иногда бананы. Бассейн -там же бар Коктейли, алкоголь все норм, выбор есть, виды шикарные. Тут нечего плохого сказать. Экскурсии : есть рыбалка , запись на ее до 8 чел.набирают, если нет, то ее и не будет, такая же история с мантами и снорклинг. Нам удалось побывать на рыбалке -было 6 чел, в итоге за два часа рыбу поймала только я, на ужин нам ее приготовили, были на снорклинге( в маске наблюдение за морскими жителями). Но если вы не первый раз на Мальдивах и уже видели все, то это не стоит того!!!! Ну и дайвинг: все супер, возили на затопленный корабль👍 на мант нам не удалось , никто на записался. Мой вердикт таков: новичкам норм👍 по скольку сравнивать не с чем, а вот кто не первый раз на Мальдивах…НЕТ!!!! Зря потрачено время на дорогу. Есть куда лучше отели ближе.

Отдых оставил очень неоднозначное впечатление.. Начнем с "+": - очень качественный трансфер, четкая организация; - большая вилла; - красивый пляж, на этом все заканчивается - вы скажете, что этого достаточно, но давайте разбираться дальше. "-": - открытый душ и открытая планировка ванной комнаты была прекрасна только в светлое время суток, вечером, когда морили насекомых со стороны входа на виллы ( далее об этом подробно) наша ванная комната превращалась в комнату ужаса - несметные полчища летучих муравьев превращали белую сантехнику, полотенца, зубные щетки. крема и т.д. в черное месиво - так себе удовольствие. - питание и напитки- тут уже писали о том, что голодными вы не останетесь, но как можно испортить мясо в подливке? Одним словом, еда однообразная и, прямо скажем, далека от совершенства. Отдельно по напиткам - алкоголь не то что плох, он ужасен! Мы с мужем не особо так его пьем, видимо поэтому к нам был потерян интерес нашего официанта, т.к. мы, в лучшем случае, заказывали дополнительно сок, но и его умудрились превратить в полный трэш- одна пена) Я заказала бокал белого сухого вина - принесли полфужера странного вкуса пойла за 12 долларов. Пустые тарелки со стола не убирались, официант как бы не видел нас, хотя резорт был заполнен не полностью и он обслуживал от силы 3-4 столика. Как только приехали, попросили пересадить ближе к морю - читали в комментах, что это практикуют, но про нас "забыли" и пришлось буквально выпрашивать новое место, а наш официант навязчиво напрашивался на чаевые - мне же не жалко, я вообще только "за", когда реально классно работают, но тут))); - и вот мы подходим к "вишенке на торте" - широкие пляжи, везде песок, можно ходить босиком, загорать у кромки океана, что мы с удовольствием и делали-за этим приехали, виллу делюкс заказали, но через, примерно, 6 дней все тело у меня и мужа было покрыто мелкими жутко зудящими укусами, обратились к врачу, дали мазь, но помогала плохо- но я очень благодарна врачу на этом резорте, она реально старалась помочь. Выяснилось, что это "пляжные мухи" , живут в СУХОМ песке и дико кусают. Вся обработка от насекомых проходит в зеленой части острова, за виллами, а пляжная полоса остается не тронута. Я такого не на одном резорте не видела- у меня ноги и руки - как будто я ветрянкой переболела. Мы вернулись домой больше месяца назад, но укусы продолжают зудеть). Я читала, что туристы этого отеля жаловались на данную проблему, но то, что ничего не предпринимается - это более, чем странно!!! Так, что делайте выводы, но мы вряд ли вернемся.

Right this resort could be perfect but unfortunately it fails badly on the simple things, We are half way through our holiday here and I feel as though these issues may be deal breakers for some when choosing their dream holiday in the Maldives.! … 1. This one is absolutely mind blowing and if we had known this then would have booked somewhere else. To some this may seem trivial but not to my adult daughter and I, neither of us drink alcohol (well maybe one a day tops) but what we do love is a nice coffee maybe a cappuccino or a latte possibly 3 a day each but guess what although we are all inclusive those coffees are chargeable!!! The equivalent of £3.50 chargeable!? What the ? So we can sit in the bar all day every day and every evening constantly drinking alcohol as part of the A.I but a few frothy coffees in the sun nope not a chance it will cost us extra for those what a joke ! We have enquired about this issue but nope they are extra. 2. Now on to the food which once again may seem trivial to some but to others not … To me the dining schedules are a bit tight, Breakfast is 07.30-09.30 Lunch 12.30-14.30 High Tea is 16.30-18.30 and Evening Meal is 19.30-21.30 down on paper that seems fine but this is a tiny stunning island with just this resort here and so this is the only time to eat as there is nothing else on the island. I personally feel that when on this type of holiday it should be all about relaxation and not keeping to a schedule as 2 hours for each meal is a bit tight when organising your day, My wife is an early riser so breakfast is ok for her but my daughter and I aren’t so we miss out on that so come lunchtime it’s a 12.30ish affair etc etc and as there is no other food available out side of these times then it’s go without. 3. Food itself … Once again it’s the simple things, it’s a small resort so it’s only right to expect a small variety which is to be fair is what there is which is fine but what we are finding daily is that the hot food isn’t that it’s more luke warm and the cooked meats are tough as old boots ! The beef is extremely tough, the chicken very dry and the fish well that’s tough and very bony so vegetarians fill your boots ! Me I’m having white rice and whatever sauce I can put on it and filling up on that as there’s then nothing till breakfast (as there’s no shop or anywhere else) which I miss out on anyway as I’m on holiday and don’t feel as though I should be made to get up to catch it ! 4. As there’s no shop as such theres no chocolate which we all love so do as we do and fill your cases like we do ;) 5. The bloody mosquitos on the island, we have holidayed all over the world but never have I been bitten like this ! I’m currently on over 50 bites and itching like crazy which is keeping me up all night so I’m shattered during the day but hey there’s the dining schedule so it’s up and eat no excuses! Apparently the whole resort is infumegated everyday but we haven’t seen it yet ? Lol not Lol but this isn’t the resorts fault as such but hey when leaving a review I feel it’s best to get all positives and negatives out there but it has to be the negatives first. Right and now the positives… 1. Jane of the waiting team is absolutely lovely, very very helpful we all love her to bits ! 2. It’s a very small island and it really is stunning with beautiful views. 3. Rooms are great, no complaints there. 4. With one bar, one restaurant and one pool if you do prefer you really can get away from it all, for a while at least. 5. Staff can’t fault the staff… well apart from those who welcome heavy drinkers with open arms but shun the fancy coffee drinkers. 6. Finally the highlight of the island are the fruit bats, They are huge !! So in a nutshell if you are a heavy drinker who doesn’t care for tea and coffee, may be a vegetarian who isn’t fussed too much about hot meals and eating them at certain times, getting chocolate or ice cream, who gets on with the mozzies and who is looking for a budget basic holiday to the Maldives on a stunning island with a getaway from it all feel with some lovely staff then this is the place for you. But for anyone like me well we wish that I had spent that little bit more to not get the coffee and food issues and coming away feeling penalised for being a non drinker even though we have paid the same as a heavy drinker, it’s the little things that can kind of ruin the perfect holiday ! Посетили с мужем данный отель в марте 2023, с погодой нам повезло, дождей не было. Начну с перелетов. Перелет сложный! Из Москвы в Мале, в Мале нас должен был встретить представитель отеля, но этого не произошло, местные подсказали где их найти. Нашли. Далее вы идете в аэропорт местных авиалиний, оформляется там все по факту, если вы решили прогуляться и во время не оформили билет на внутренние авиалинии, то вы можете не попасть на рейс. Нам здесь тоже не повезло, наши данные были оформлены с ошибкой, и мы ожидали 40 минут пока разберутся и нас зарегистрируют. Далее Вы садитесь в небольшой самолет (не путать с гидросамолетом) и летите с остановкой до вашего пункта назначения. Далее вас встречает представитель отеля и вы на катере отправляетесь с самому отелю. Сразу отмечу обратная дорога такая же, учитывайте это при покупке билетов. Мы брали аэрофлот на 10 утра, соответсвенно остров покидали в 3 утра. Тяжеловато. Сам отель поживший, но достаточно не плохой. Если ищете уединенный отдых, то отдохнуть можно. Очень понравился уединенный выход к океану, своя маленькая уединенная терраса и вилла. Очень уютная душевая под открытым небом, в вечернее время компанию вам с удовольствием составят местные ящерки. Пляж очень хороший, чистый, входить можно босиком. Это тоже порадовало, тк во многих отелях пишут, что нужны тапочки. Своего рифа нет, поэтому рыбок можно посмотреть только от пирса. Я очень плохо плаваю, поэтому окунуться не рискнула, волны есть. Пришлось наблюдать сверху. Нам с мужем повезло с расположением виллы (самая первая от главного ресторана). Пологий вход к вилле с пляжа, у многих других вилл есть небольшой выступ, у некоторых вилл нет своего мини-сада, некоторые виллы находятся около части океана, где нет входа в песок. Думаю это нужно уточнять у отеля. Остров очень большой, обойти можно часа за 1,5-2. Есть где погулять. Есть фитнес зал и школа дайвинга. Еда нам не понравилась от слова совсем. Мясо мы перестали есть на 3 день, т.к. оно резиновое и его просто невозможно было жевать. Курица и рыба пересушенные, даже в соусе. Как это возможно для меня до сих пор загадка. Салаты часто из остатков прошлого дня, десерты также. Да, разнообразно, но по факту есть нечего. Из фруктов: бананы, яблоки, апельсины, арбузы. Обильного разнообразия особо не было. Что понравилось: бомбезные тушеные овощи и супы. Интересная задумка на ужине- ежедневно появлялись блюда одной из кухонь мира, к примеру: мексиканская или японская. Из развлечений: экскурсии на местные острова, аренда лодочек, ночные рыбалки..думаю - стандартный набор. На территории отеля всего один ресторан, работает он по графику (примерный): завтрак с 7 до 10.30, обед с 12 до 14.30, ужин с 19.30 до 22.00. Т.е. если вы соня, встаете поздно, на завтрак не успеваете, ходите голодным до обеда, обедаете в 12 и дальше ходите голодным до 19. Мы выстроили такой график: приходили к концу завтрака, к концу обеда и к середине ужина, тк кушать хочется, а заказать еду или ее купить НЕГДЕ. Алкогольные напитки очень плохого качества. Это был наш с мужем первый безалкогольный отпуск, потому что коктейли просто плохие, даже платные. На острове есть бар, но как писала выше, пить там нечего. Также, в дневное время отель предлагает снеки в баре на перекус: печеньки и кексы (к пиву и коктейлям). Напоминаю, заказать ничего нельзя! Когда бронировали тур, нам сказали, что в отеле 2 ресторана, один общий, второй ла кард, но он закрыт. Общий вывод, сам отель не плохой, персонал всегда готов помочь, девушки официантки всегда приветливые. Но отель поживший, добираться от Москвы тяжеловато и, в принципе, делать там особо нечего. Движух никаких нет (дискотека о которой пишут в комментах, это просто музыка, атмосферы при этом никакой). Отдыхающий контингент 40+, нам с мужем нет 30, мы были (по нашим наблюдениям) самыми молодыми на пляже. С детьми делать в этом отеле нечего! Это тюлений отдых, где можно лежать с книжкой в руках и слушать океан. Про интернет, очень слабенький вай фай, на фильмы его не хватает, поэтому скачивайте заранее, а то вечерами делать будет совсем нечего. Темнеет рано (по крайней мере в марте). A un’ora di volo domestico e mezz’ora di speed boat di barca si può trovare questo paradiso in terra! Il resort si è dimostrato al di sopra delle nostre aspettative per la nostra camera e spazi comuni con staff molto disponibile, cordiale e professionale. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la cucina, con proposte molto varie e cibo di ottima qualità. Le escursioni sono ben organizzate e abbiamo avuto la possibilità di fare snorkeling, night fishing e turtle monitoring, ne avremmo volute fare altre ma purtroppo in bassa stagione si fatica ad avere un numero minimo di partecipanti per poterle effettuare. Contrariamente da quanto leggo nelle altre recensioni ci tengo a segnalare che anche nell’area snorkeling del resort è possibile fare snorkeling e vedere particolari creature marine. Viste le dimensioni dell’isola abbiamo noleggiato anche le bici per poterci spostare rapidamente e godere di tutta l’isola (zona piscina, palestra, dive center, ristorante). L’unica pecca sono delle zone in cui ci sono dei resti di vecchi bungalow dismessi che attualmente sono coperti ma comunque visibili e vorremmo consigliare alla struttura di predisporre più cestini in tutto il perimetro dell’isola. Nell’isola si ha la possibilità di apprezzare il personale che lavora costantemente tutto il giorno, tutti i giorni per la manutenzione delle aree verdi e la pulizia delle spiagge. A noi è piaciuto molto, sicuramente lo consiglieremo! See you

Hondaafushi Island resort gave us exactly what we were looking for. This picture perfect island with its pristine sandy beaches, incredible wildlife and totally relaxed atmosphere, is a real gem of the Maldives. As wonderful as it is, it was the staff who made our stay so relaxing…on hand to feed, transport & help in any way possible, always with a smile & friendly conversation. The selection of delicious food from Chef Dilshan’s kitchen was amazing, with speciality local dishes cooked in front of you by Nishani. They even cooked us fish from our fishing trip. If you’re still hungry a wide selection of deserts & Thashmi’s fruit platter will finish you off! And the view from the restaurant….paradise! Made all the better by our waiter Cion’s prompt arrival with the cold beers. But let’s face it, if you’re heading to the Maldives, you’re looking for the warm blue waters, teeming with life, & if you’re up for a little snorkelling, it’s all here. Beginners can explore the reef from the gently sloping beach & stronger swimmers can dive from the end of the long pier to see the multitude of fish that are drawn there, or even a turtle or two! For the less energetic, nothing beats the daily sight of a tropical sunset with a cocktail in your hand at the Thila bar, where the only disturbance is a fruit bat flyby or a hermit crab scuttling across your toes. Hondaafushi is a paradise in the Indian Ocean & hopefully it’ll be preserved as it is, without any of the water house developments that are blighting other picturesque locations. Чудесное место, прекрасная кухня, включая рыбу запеченную целиком, гриль и карри, курицу в разных вариациях, небольшие торты своего производства, муссы, яблочный пай, панакотта, дал карри, свежие соки. Замечательное бунгало с милым садиком и тропическим душем, - горячий душ под яркой луной - это запоминается, свежеподметенные дорожки по всему острову - исключена возможность словить скажем колючку в подошву стопы, мы предпочитали ходить без обуви, вообще к инженерной службе замечаний нет. Лагуна великолепна, голубая вода утром и бирюзовая вечером. Одно пожелание - неплохо бы проводить массивную фумигацию бунгало перед заселением включая обработку прилегающих зеленых насаждений и подумать над соответствующим расширением ареала ежедневной фумигации зелени.

If you want corporate 5 star , empty your bins , wash your bathroom and make your bed all twice a day, gourmet food and fancy cocktails don't come here. If you want tranquility, seclusion white sandy beach , turquoise blue sea , happy smiling staff , good food , clean environment, bungalows on the beach , outside showers ,experience the true Maldives, this is the place to come .....always room for improvement but nothing can take away the just perfect place to enjoy these islands.

Destination de Rêve ! Hotel exceptionnel. Une mention particulière pour Nazrul au restaurant qui excelle dans le service par son agréabilité et la qualité de son travail. Le restaurant propose une cuisine faite maison et du monde qui répond à tous les besoins (Diét, gourmands, végan...) les pieds dans le sable :-) Concernant les bungalow IMPECCABLES, (de luxe) ils sont rangés et nettoyés tous les matins. Donnent accès à une plage de sable fin extrêmement propre. Optez pour cet hôtel et laissez opérer la magie des Maldives.... (Toute critique négative est sincèrement injustifiée)

Nach unserem ersten Besuch in 2020 haben wir uns 2023 zu einer Wiederholung entschlossen, weil fast alle anderen Inseln aus verschiedenen Gründen indiskutabel sind oder geworden sind. Wir können in dieser Hinsicht gut vergleichen, da dies mittlerweile unser 23. Besuch auf den Malediven ist. Für uns war ausschlaggebend: - Barfuss-Insel - kein überflüssiger Luxus - Keine hässlichen Wasserbungalows - Einzelbungalows mit Abstand zum Nachbarn - Keine Wellenbrecher oderBetonmauern am Strand - eine Lagune in der man auch bei Ebbe schwimmen kann - keine Belästigung durch Motorsport und früh startende Wasserflugzeuge Unsere Bewertung vom März 2020 enthält eigentlich bereits alles, was uns positiv und negativ aufgefallen ist, sodass hier nur noch Ergänzungen oder Veränderungen erwähnt werden. Vorweg zwei Warnungen: 1. Hondaafushi ist keine Insel für erfahrene Schnorchler. Auch der angebotene Schnorchelausflug (zur verlassenen Hotelinsel Alidhoo) bietet lediglich ein korallenmässig totes Riff mit ein paar Fischschwärmen. Wer bisher noch nicht geschnorchelt hat, wird sich aber sicherlich noch über Fischsichtungen freuen können. 2. Je nach Ankunfts- und Abflugzeit in Male kann das Erreichen von Hondaafushi nervig sein. Beispiel: Ankunft in Mále ca. 7:00 am: Warten auf den Inlandsflug nach Hanimaadhoo bis ca. 11 Uhr am (mit Verpflegung in der Moonima-Lounge). Abflug in Male ca. 10 Uhr am. Das bedeutet Aufstehen um 2:45 Uhr am, Abflug in Hanimaadhoo ca. 5 Uhr am. Dieser Nachteil wird von den Reiseveranstaltern oft nicht erwähnt. Wenn der Ausbau des Flughafens in Hanimaadhoo abgeschlossen ist, wird es auch Direktflüge (z.B. von Dubai) dorthin geben. Dann ist alles nett. Sehr lobenswert ist der Service. Morgens wird der Sonnenschirm am Strand aufgestellt und abends wieder hereingeholt. Eine zusammengebrochene Liege wurde ohne Aufforderung erkannt und ausgetauscht. Kleine Wünsche werden umgehend erledigt. Auch wenn die Insel voll belegt ist, sieht man wenige Leute am Strand oder im Wasser; ab und zu hatten wir den Eindruck, den Strand für uns allein zu haben. Sollte man nervige Nachbarn haben, kann man jederzeit beim Baden zum unberührten Teil der Insel ausweichen. Die Situation am Obststand, die 2020 noch inakzeptabel war, hat sich entscheidend verbessert. Auch wenn das Essen nicht immer unsere Vorlieben traf, war doch zu erkennen, dass die Küche sehr einfallsreich, abwechslungsreich und qualitativ hochwertig war. Russische Gäste überwogen zahlenmäßig deutlich in der Überzahl - obwohl deren Kreditkarten auf der Insel aus bekannten Gründen nicht akzeptiert werden. Der Rest der Gäste kam überwiegend aus England, Frankreich und den deutschsprachigen Ländern. Verbesserungsfähig ist nach wie vor der Fahrdienst mit dem Buggy. Die Standardauskunft beim Bestellen lautet fast immer "10 - 15 Min.", z.T. auch länger, und das ist exakt die Zeit, die man auch zu Fuß benötigen würde. Bleibt nur unser früheres Fazit zu wiederholen: Uns hat die Insel und der gebotene Service sehr gut gefallen. Having been to other islands this is a big disappointment. One restaurant at one end of the island one bar at other end of the island Everywhere you are sitting on wooden chairs very uncomfortable Rooms only cleaned once a day unlike all the other islands we have been to We had to put everything in the bin so that they cleaned all the drops that was around the sinks which happens every day Yes it hot the beach is lovely But for a all inclusive when you can only get food at meal time and never been any where that doesn't start breakfast till 8.am!! No snacks or ice cream? There are so many islands this one needs to step it's game up We will be glad to be going home And have booked a much better island for a next trip

We had an amazing 25 nights, we went there to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday.The island surrounded by white powdered sand & turquoise sea is absolutely wonderful, if you are looking for peace & tranquility.The island is unspoilt beautiful ,calm & relaxing.The grounds are well tended with beach cleaner’s out at 7am every morning. We stayed in deluxe bungalow 111 which was pleasant,but a bit out dated.It had everything we needed, with an outside shower which was a nice touch.Thank you to Robiul our housekeeper who couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable The restaurant is buffet style , has a very good selection of traditional & international cuisine.They catered well for all dietary need’s & we were not disappointed as we are vegetarian The staff were all fantastic from the restaurant/bar & housekeeping service excellent.A big special thank you to the chef Dilshan, Asti our waiter who looked after us during our entire stay & not forgetting the 3 ladies Sakunthala, Thashmi and Nishani. Once again we would like to thank everyone for making our stay such a memorable experience and an extremely relaxing holiday.Look forward to returning soon.

le paradis sur terre, parfait pour 10 jours au calme - L'ile est incroyable, Petite taille, peu de logement et donc peu de monde - Le calme - pas de voiture, pas d'avion, pas de bateau et donc pas de bruit- De belle chambre, propre, belle literie, superbe douche extérieure - Personnel au top pour les chambres - Bon restaurant avec un bon choix chaque jour avec toujours un personnel au top (le smile) - Bar de la piscine très sympa - Un très bon club de plongée très pro et très bon accueil (merci à eux) - Seul bémol la salle de sport (sans fenêtre et trop petite) - Pour le reste c’était génial - Merci à toute l'équipe

Hondafushi island is a wonderful island, much better than I expected. Yes, is a long way to be there, an intercontinental flight, then a long wait at Male airport, followed by a bumpy flight to Hanimaadhoo airport and finally a short boat ride to the island, I know, but believe me it's worth it...!!! A suggestion for the hotel: The island is not just the beach in front of the bungalows, beach cleaning should be extended along the entire beach, at least once a week.

Mi sono appena recato presso questa isola in compagnia di amici incluso una famiglia con bambini, l’isola è grande ed è bella con molta vegetazione, purtroppo però non c’è assolutamente una barriera corallina intorno all’isola, pertanto il mare spesso risulta mosso, e comunque anche lo snorkeling oltre essere abbastanza difficoltoso non è molto soddisfacente.le camere sono belle e il cibo è abbastanza buono, ma abbiamo avuto un problema molto grosso Con la manutenzione della zona intorno alla piscina. In primo luogo le piastrelle intorno alla piscina non sono adatte ma sono piastrelle da rivestimento e sono molto scivolose, inoltre il problema molto grave che si è presentato e che assolutamente non è stato risolto, e che le piastrelle sui gradini che portano alla piscina sia dalla spiaggia che dalla doccia, sono rotte in più punti e sono diventate pericolosissimo in quanto rotte e taglienti, allego fotografie a dimostrazione di quanto da me sostenuto. Va detto che la proprietà mi aveva garantito che avrebbe accomodato le zone interessate, ma questo non è mai stato fatto, sia mentre io mi trovavo nella resort, sia quando sono tornata a casa, nonostante abbia sollecitato più volte affinché mi dimostrassero che avevano risolto il problema. È una cosa vergognosa perché ci sono molti bambini e più di una persona è caduto. Io sono caduto e mi sono tagliata ad un braccio e adesso provvederò a chiedere i danni. Un’ultima cosa molto grave, se uno alla fine del soggiorno vuole pagare con carta di credito, la resort caricherà una percentuale del 3,5% alle spese effettuate perché non intendono pagare loro le commissioni della carta di credito ma le vogliono far pagare al cliente. Anche di questo posso dare prova. Pazzesco e contro ogni regola. Peccato perché l’isola sarebbe bella e il personale che ci lavoro è molto gentile.

Deuxième voyage aux Maldives et nous sommes ravis d'avoir séjourné à Hondaafushi malgré quelques points noir. Les bungalows se trouvent sur une plage magnifique avec vue sur une eau turquoise. L'île est grande et nous permet d'y faire de belles ballades. Le personnel est tout simplement fantastique. Toujours souriant, serviable et répondant rapidement à nos différentes demandes. Le snorkeling doit se faire côté Ouest de l'île et derrière la barrière de corail car sinon il n'y a pas grand chose à voir. Les bungalows sont vieillissants et certains sont à l'abandon. D'autre sont en rénovation et cela crée des nuisances sonores surtout lorsque votre bungalow se trouve à côté.... Au restaurant, notre serveur a été toujours très agréable et serviable malgré aucun jours de repos pendant notre séjour de 15 jours ( Manque de personnel). La nourriture reste correct sans plus. Cela reste une belle destination de part ce paysage magnifique et la gentillesse du personnel.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the resort. Beautiful location, insane colours, perfect weather, helpful staff. Would like to thank the resort’s general manager that did everything to make my stay as comfortable and smooth as it can be including late check out. It’s a small island and perfect for relaxing (read 4 books ha ha). I’ve had a wonderful time and will be happy to come back!

Il resort è a circa n'ora di volo da Male più 15 minuti di motoscafo e occupa interamente l'isola. Note positive. I circa 50 bungalow occupano solo una piccola parte dell'isola ed il resto è lasciato ottimamente a livello selvaggio. La spiaggia è di sabbia corallina ed il mare è splendido. Le camere sono ampie con una favolosa doccia esterna. Nella punta nord dell'isola c'è una graziosa piscina sulla spiaggia. Volendo per gli spostamenti interni all'isola c'è a disposizione un caddy. Note negative. Il personale alla reception pur essendo sempre disponibile non è sempre all'altezza della situazione (per sapere gli orari di partenza ho dovuto mandare una email direttamente alla sede di Male). La cucina offre una grande varietà di piatti anche se prevalentemente di tipo orientale. Vicino al nostro bungalow (il 228) stavano ristrutturandone altri tre con un cantiere rumorosissimo ed abbiamo dovuto minacciarli di andarsene per ottenere di avere silenzio almeno al mattino, andando nella zona piscina al pomeriggio. Le escursioni sono poco interessanti e la barriera corallina poco interessante.

nous avons séjourné au honddafushi island resort du 10 février au 21 février 2023.. il n'y a qu'un mot fantastique... tout était parfait...l'accueil dès votre arrivé à Malé, vous ne vous occupez de rien. Un membre de l'hôtel vous attend, fait le check-in du vol domestique , vous installe dans le petit salon privé... arrivé à destination vous prenez le bateau, et votre arrivée sur l'ile se fait 10 mn plus tard.. L'accueil est parfait et le staff à votre écoute. Nous logions dans un bugalow beach de luxe... il était parfait , avec votre plage privée et une vue juste à couper le souffle. Tout le personnel est sympa, poli et à votre écoute. Le buffet était plus que correct et varié. Tout était très bon , les serveurs et les cuisiniers au top.. le spot la bas est juste magnifique .Du ponton de l'hôtel il y a un spot de snorkeling juste incroyable ou nous avons vu , torture, raie Manta géante, dauphins, requins et bien évidemment une multitude de poissons colorés. le sol bémol, et rien à voir avec l'hôtel est que les coraux sont tous morts, comme dans beaucoup d'endroit aux Maldives. Nous ne comprenons pas les avis de certaines personnes.. bientôt il faudra demandé à l'océan qu'il fasse moins de vagues pour ne pas être malade sur le bateau et pour ne pas amener du sable qui fait des petits monts sous l'eau...et les moustiques il n'y en avait quasiment pas ...il y en a plus chez moi en France .Alors messieurs dames les mécontents restez chez - vous, comme ca l'océan ne vous embêtera plus..si vous voulez un 5 étoiles bling bling , qui vous apporte une coupe de champagne sur votre transat allez y mais il faut y mettre le prix… et quel intérêt . Le hondafushi est un hôtel à taille humaine , avec des gens simples mais efficace. Bref un endroit à visiter sans hésitation. Cela faisait longtemps que n'avions pas passé de vacances aussi féériques...Merci le hondaafushi.

We went for my 60th birthday with the boys, l say boys but they are fully grown men. l wanted them to experience the magic of the Maldives but also to see what Global Warming is doing to these islands. We stayed in villas 136 & 137, which were perfect, walking out in the morning onto a pristine coral beach is amazing. Shoes or sandals were barely worn, no need when one is walking on sand. There are only 50 villas, 6 have been lost or destroyed by rising water, so a maximum of 100 guests. The staff are truly amazing with one exception. Nazrul, our waiter was fantastic. Saikiran, Rajesh and Sobuj at the Bar, you are the best! Thank you. Chion, you need to find another job, restaurant work or even working in hospitality is not your forte and your bigotry was noted by all and a topic of conversation amongst most guests. If not for Nazrul l am sure that you would be out of a job! Choosing not to serve same sex couples and moving them to tables that you do not serve is not acceptable. The pair of sisters you decided were a couple and moved and would not serve until 3 days later you realised that they were really sisters, says a lot about you, and it is not good. Everyone else was simply lovely, the food delicious and the 3 ladies on serving were just wonderful and l thank you all. Only 19% of the Island has been developed and the rest is totally unspoiled as yet and long may it continue. There are plans to develop the rest of the island which can be found online, which will truly ruin this paradise island and turn it into a bustling busy resort with a golf course, football pitch, tennis courts, multiple restaurants and bars etc., with many more villas both on the beach and inland. So l would advise going sooner rather than later to avoid being disappointed.

Nous y avons passé une semaine avec mon épouse, début février 2023. A 50 mn d’avion de Malé, une île magnifique. Il faut aimer le repos et la tranquillité. Repas variés et très bons, chambre très grande et très propre, salle de bain immense et très belle avec une douche en extérieur. Personnel très sympathique et cette impression d’être les seuls sur l’ile !!

Une expérience fantastique, l'ile est superbe (une bonne heure pour en faire le tour à pied) les plongées sont très accessibles et magnifiques, les chambres sont tout conforts climatisation excellente. Le buffet est tout à fait correct pour un all inclusive les boissons également. Le personnel est toujours très aimable à l'écoute. Tout particulièrement Asti au restaurant ainsi que Rashed en housekeeping. L’hôtel est à taille humaine et très calme seul petit point négatif est la salle de sport sans fenêtre au milieu de l'ile, elle serait tellement mieux face à l'océan...... Pour conclure, si vous avez besoins de repos avec de beaux moments de snorkeling FONCEZ

Wir waren eine Woche im Hondaafushi. Der Bungalow (deluxe) war richtig top! Tolle Outdoordusche richtig nice, super bequemes Bett, viel Platz, toller Strand vor der Tür.... Mega! Das Essen war richtig gut, immerhin ist es ein Buffet. Immer frisch zubereitetes Essen, wie gegrillter Fisch, frische Pasta.... Lecker Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass wir wieder kommen ist hoch 😇 Dank an Ali, den manager. Sehr zuvorkommend und erklärte uns gern, wie die Insel funktioniert.. K & C

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 week stay in Hondaafushi island. The island is beautiful, and you feel the remoteness, and serenity of it. We walked the island on a daily basis, stopping occasionally for a swim in the turquoise waters. It’s just a pity, most of the coral has died off, but the beautiful scenery remains. We loved spotting the basking sharks, and the sting rays. The quietness of the island was stunning, you don’t see many other people while walking around. The food was excellent, ( Buffet style ). Always plenty of choice, and very well prepared. The variety of soups were fantastic. We were asked if we wanted something special cooked, so asked for a chicken madras curry. Wow, it was excellent. Chion, our waiter looked after us for the whole three weeks, and was wonderful. The whole staff were brilliant, including the guys who work tirelessly cleaning the dead corals being washed ashore each day. I would like the thank every member of the team, we really enjoyed their smiles each day. If you are looking for peace & quiet, this is definitely the place to go.

This is a lovely island and the staff are friendly and helpfull, but that is the best I can say. The website for this island is out of date and many of the services offered do not exist. Water sports advertised do not exist, there is a building by the short jetty where they were located this is now fun down and used as a storage area. Scuba diving yes it's offered and it appears to be a new company running it as the services offered are nothing like advertised on the website. They offer two dives a day one in the morning one in the afternoon, which at the time didn't go far as the dive boat had broken down. The cost of the diving is one of the most expensive I have encountered in the Maldives. I was told I would need to do a orientation dive and did I want to practice any skills, given I have dived for 20 years and completed 17 dives in the Galapagos in September 2022 I was rather insulted. Nitrox is not offered in my experience in the Maldives Nitrox is now offered everywhere free of charge. The food is often over cooked, dry and very bland. One of a previous comments on this resort someone mentions the umali desert it is one of my favorites, the first week it was passible, however the 2nd week it was nothing more than bread pudding with chocolate in it. I spoke to the head chef, who had no explanation for it. The next night ha spoke to me and had cooked me the dish, it was still not right, I spoke to him again and explained the ingredients to be used, he prepared the dish again the next night it was ok, but still fell short of what I expected. Canapes if you can call them that? a square of dried bread, with chopped tomato, onion and cucumber doesn't cut it. The Thila bar, the only bad on the island staff were great, but the furniture was old and tired, people were using towels to sit on in the chair as there are no cushions for the chairs. There was a n incident one night where someone cut their finger, there was no first aid kit, or anyone who could deal with it. Luckily one of the guests was a nurse who dealt with it and some French ladies went and got their own first aid kit. The sun beds outside the room had to be replaced twice as they kept breaking as they are old and rotten, the umbrella had patches and rips in it, it should have been in a skip rather than what you use. The light in the garden shower where you put your shampoo ect I'd a standard light fitting and the wires exposed is an accident waiting to happen. I emailed reception regarding my concerns and it was forwarded to the manager who they assured me would respond, he never did. It appears the management don't or can't address the issues which is a shame as it could be an exceptional resort. My wife who has limited walking, was pleased with the buggy service. But the facilities do not cater for disabled people, b no hand fails anywhere, no ramps and steps of various heights everywhere.

Very nice personal, especially Rashed from cleaning and Asti at restaurant. Island is very beautiful. Meals in restaurant were very fine and different. Air conditioning is very good and not loud. Wunderschöne, gepflegte und natürliche Insel (ca. 1h für einen Rundgang). Mein Delux Beach Bungalow war überraschend gross und wurde von Rashed herrvorragend gepflegt. Alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und versuchten stets meinen Wünschen zuvor zu kommen. Top Service! Ich war nie Tauchen oder Schnorcheln doch die vielen Wege durch den dschungelähnlichen Innenbereich- und der scheinbar unberührte Südteil der Insel reichte um mich zwei Wochen gut zu unterhalten mit exotischen Pflanzen Flughunden, kleinen Haien, Meeresleuchten, Baby-Schildkröten+++. ….Essen war gut, Desserts viel zu gut, AI. Bier war super. Tadellose Ferien.

So this is the second time we have been to Hondaafushi. First time April 2022, 21 nights, and whilst we were still on the island we booked again for January 2023 for 15 nights. This is our ultimate reset button. If you are looking for peace, quiet, tranquility, privacy, natural beauty to remove the stress of every day life, then Hondaafushi is the place to come. As soon as our feet hit the sand here, everything else is forgotten. If you want multiple bars, buzzing nightlife, shops, taxis to other islands, indoor bathrooms with multiple colored armbands indicating different tiers of service, then this absolutely not for you and you will be disappointed and you will find yourself leaving a review on what the island doesn’t have rather on what services it does provide and which are, in all fairness, well documented. But as a previous reviewer states, these additional services come at a cost and if you have indeed been to other islands in the Maldives you will also know that you are paying a fraction of the price to stay here. This is exactly the kind of island experience we were looking for. We have been to other Maldivian islands and, to quote another reviewer, they were instagram experiences. Hondaafushi is natural and simplistic which is extremely difficult to get right. We wanted peace, quiet and relaxation. Here you have that in abundance. It is also very beautiful. We flew direct from LHR to MLE, quick internal flight, boat ride and back in heaven! Last year we went via Dubai and, unless you particularly want the shopping, direct was the best. Two types of room - Deluxe and Superior. Deluxe slightly bigger with nice garden area and nearer the restaurant. Superior nearer the bar. We had the Deluxe. Beautiful outdoor bathroom and I can report no ants, my husband said he saw one! Not bad really. Rooms very clean at all times thanks to Ricky from 2022 and Mohashin from 2023 (apologies for spelling!). Really accommodating. We loved the bed decoration welcoming us back. Black out curtains are amazing if, like us, you can only sleep in complete darkness…which leads to my only problem with the room….there is a window which is situated by the hospitality tray which has no blind or curtain which, if there is a full moon or your next door neighbor leaves their patio light on, your room is flooded with light which means we don’t sleep….a quick conversation with our room boy and it was solved! Excellent air con and overhead fan. Huge improvement with the mossies this year….last year I was covered in hundreds….this year 8! I couldn’t believe it as I am usually a target for the blighters! Outside room shady sandy garden with your sun beds. This area is kept pristine twice daily by the maintenance guys, fantastic job. The whole island is kept in great shape by gardeners. Restaurant you are allocated a table for your stay, but as your stay progresses you will find yourself nearer the ocean view tables which is an extremely thoughtful thing to do and gives everyone the same opportunity to have front row of that amazing view. You also have the same waiter throughout. For us that meant the wonderful Chion. He is an incredibly hardworking member of the team and took amazing care of us during our stay. We are already missing his happy smiley face….especially in the mornings! The food is buffet style and has a different theme every night. The choice, execution and presentation is perfect. You can always find something from the delicious selection of food available. My husband is now addicted to the Um Ali dessert and the beef chilli curry and the chick pea Marsala, I could go on! If you get the chance to sample the Swiss roll whilst you are there, make sure you do….sublime! Chef Dilshan runs a tight ship and is a perfectionist. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and your team’s welcome, it will be one of the reasons we will be coming back. The bar - we cannot tell you much about the bar because in the 5+ weeks we have spent on the island, we went there twice to see the sunset!! Drinks were lovely as were the snacks. Reception - well we went once on arrival and once on departure. Professional and helpful. There is a dive school and gym but we didn’t use….we were too busy relaxing. …and finally the Spa….heavenly! They only provide massage services but oh what they do they do extremely well. Amazing ladies who make sure you have the best experience. There is talk of developing the island in the future with bungalows on the other side of the island although I do not know if this is true or when this will be….I just hope they will stay true to their existing values. I cannot emphasis enough how relaxing this island was for us. I am glad to see there are more people leaving positive feedback because they ‘get it’. The island and staff absolutely deserve it. Nous venons de rentrer d un séjour inoubliable dans cet endroit magnifique. Le personnel aux petits soins. Tout était parfait,la nature les plages les eaux chaudes et turquoise. La variété des aliments au buffet, la gentillesse de notre serveur. De manger les pieds dans le sable. Les Robinson Crusoe des temps modernes.
