Family friendly resort
Pros: It was a family friendly resort, especially for us since we have a toddler so we enjoyed it.
Cons: I've message them that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was good to have something to surprise my wife, they did email me back and ask for the exact date and said that they will arrange a complimentary wine and cake, however it was not done during our stay. It's fine, if they could have just inform me if they can't do anything, I just expected for something which we usually get in our other hotel stay whenever we celebrate our anniversary.

Outstanding experience

Best Maldive Hotel so far
Pros: Kishor made our stay very comfortable. The staff are extetmly friendly. Love the varity of activities and restaurants. Not like typical other resorts in maldive where you feel isolated and trapped in the hotel ; hardrock give u the option to explore other resorts and the marina. Cycling the islands and jumping from one beach to another is a plus.
Cons: We regret booking the villa. Was out all day enjoying the activities. All inclusive package does not cover all your expenses similiar to other hotel chains ( double check before booking )

I am visiting next week but since now I just want to get done with it and I already can say it is gonna be our first and last stay in this resort. Maldives are full of resorts with phenomenal costumer service and care, they make you feel you are in heaven, VIP to them, but not in the hard rock . We booked for a week and miscommunication happened and extra day was booked after our flight . We clarified the miss communication and contacted all parties including the hard rock to refund only That extra day booked by mistake and letteraly they refused! We did not adjust or modify our booking and we will be staying for a whole week already which is long duration! We couldn't adjust our flights neither extend our vecation, and really disappointed As it seems they are only hunting for money even if they lose a future regular costumer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hard Rock hotel in Maldives, and my stay there met up to my expectations. The rooms were so nice and cozy to stay in, and the housekeeping was honestly really polite and tidy whenever they would clean my room. All the employees I spoke to were really respectful and overall made my experience feel more welcoming. The food from Elephant and the Butterfly was absolutely exceptional. The fish market and international buffet had some of the best food I had ever tasted. The varieties of the ala carte menu in sessions were really good. I’m very thankful for Chef Ruben since he made my stay there taste so good by making some of the most delicious cuisines I’ve ever tasted. For anyone seeking to taste some really good food, I recommend going to Sessions and the Elephant and the Butterfly.

We stayed at Hard Rock hotel for our honeymoon and we had an amazing experience. Our gold beach villa was really great. All the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Especially, our housekeeper Prassanna ensured that we had everything we needed all the time & our ambassador Kishore who went above & beyond was very kind and helpful during our stay. The food in the restaurants & the breakfast buffet was amazing with a variety of choices. Notably, the food was really great for lunch at  Sessions. Demorei muito para decidir o hotel para minha estadia com meu marido nas Maldivas, afinal de contas opções não faltam. A escolha pelo hard rock hotel foi perfeita. Esse hotel é simplesmente maravilhoso. A ilha é linda e ainda é próximo a outra ilha, onde fica um outro hotel e a uma outra ilha, onde fica uma marina, interligadas por pontos, acessíveis a pé, bicicleta ou transfer do hotel. Assim há diversos cantinhos sensacionais para tirar fotos únicas e passar momentos perfeitos. Sem contar que há vários restaurantes com culinárias diversificadas, que ficam na marina,possibilitando jantares únicos, fora do ambiente do hotel. Acrescenta se, ainda, que na ilha da marina tem um hard rock café, com música ao vivo todas as noites. Mas o ponto alto deste hotel é o atendimento da equipe. Todos, sem exceção, são maravilhosos!!!! Desde o recebimento no aeroporto, você é transportado para um ambiente único de cordialidade, presteza e carinho em todos os instantes da hospedagem. Estavamos comemorando duas datas muito especiais e o hard rock hotel teve a sensibilidade de proporcionar duas surpresas memoráveis e maravilhosas, em dias diferentes. 사진으로 보이는것 보다 훨씬 아름다운 곳입니다 섬 어디를 가도 흥겨운 노래가 나오고 직원들도 항상 신나 보이며 투숙객들도 다 신나 보입니다 아이를 데려갔기 때문에 아이의 만족도가 큰 리조트를 고르려고 무척 애를 썼는데 하드락을 선택한건 100%옳았습니다 키즈클럽의 프로그램이 다양하고 재미있었고 직원들이 너무 너무 친절해서 데리러 갈때마다 이제 그만 밥먹으러 가자고 설득해야 했습니다 그리고 리조트 내에 대부분의 식당은 키즈메뉴 음식이 무료입니다..키즈 메뉴여도 구성이 알차고 대부분은 사이드디쉬나 음료를 같이 제공했습니다 객실 부대시설 등등 참 이쁘게 잘 꾸며져 있어서 여행내내 행복했어요

I stayed at Hard Rock for 4 nights with my husband and I must say that while choosing the resort, this was the best decision that my husband and me made. The location is good as it’s very close to the airport and accessible by speed boat. As soon as we arrived at the airport, we headed to our hotel counter and from then on we were taken care so well by each staff member of the hard rock team. Loren guided us and helped us with the check in formalities - it was so smooth. I need to give a special mention to Oggy who helped us with our breakfast lunch and dinner at sessions and provided the best hospitality. All the other sessions staff were so respectful and understanding including the manager Mufyd. Most important: we are vegans and each hotel at the island was accommodating to our requirements. This is one of the first resorts that was so understanding of our food preferences. The Hard Rock Cafe staff John, Lola, Pakku and every other member was so understanding and they were very friendly. We went for snorkelling and kayaking and the dive center members specifically Pradeesh was very helpful and a perfect guide. Need to also thank the pavilion staff members who made the sundown rituals so happening. Moreover, would also like to give a shout out to other restaurants such as Miss Olive Oyl, Kebab and Curry for the most amazing food. Apologies if I missed any other names who helped us - all of the staff were amazing and so helpful. Overall our first trip to Maldives was something we can never forget because of Hard Rock. Will surely visit again!!

I had the privilege and an opportunity of a lifetime to spend the best week of my life so far earlier this year in June in this mesmerizing property! Everything about the property surpassed our expectations! I had a quality time with my Dad here which I’m gonna cherish forever! A special mention to Sato who escorted us from the boat to the reception and room thereafter. The breathtaking views across and from the wooden bridge had left us spellbound. This was my second visit to Maldives and still I’m craving for more!! Would love to visit again sooner than later! If you're looking for a perfect gateway to paradise then this is it!! No second thoughts about that!! Highly recommended fellas!!! ♥️♥️🇲🇻😍😍

If you are looking to enjoy the most of Maldives in a short period of time, Hard Rock is a great choice! Near the airport with staff arranging speedboat according to flight schedules, has a lot of different activities to offer, and of coz great hospitality, beautiful sea and beaches. The only thing to improve is the quality of food on the island, I feel they can be done better. There were a lot of wildlife sighted, most exciting including a black tip reef shark, bats, stingrays, hermit crabs and a lot more different kinds of fish. All could be spotted without even having to snorkel or dive. Overall, it was a very fun experience yet peaceful time here.

We booked this holiday as a family and from the moment we arrived, the trip was made to be a magical experience. We were greeted by Alfar who is an absolute credit to the resort. He takes his role above and beyond and made us feel incredibly special. Myself and my family already miss him!. Everyone else was very friendly too. We met the beautiful soul named Nikki at the Thai restaurant who took the time to chat to us after our meal. Diktoe at the pool bar always made sure we had a drink in hand and making sure we were having a good time. Our talented cleaner, Shard, would leave cute little animal towels which we absolutely adored. He also left lovely notes including one that wished me happy birthday (along with the best birthday decorations I’ve ever seen! Must have taken a great ordeal of time to put together). Dane also created something wonderful on the beach for my birthday dinner. He dug a heart into the sand with lots of pretty lights. Dane was very passionate about his job and spoke highly of his boss which was lovely to hear (not often you hear that!) he was very sweet and made the dinner very memorable. Staying for ten days just isn’t enough for the wide variety of restaurants. Every single meal was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. I would like to give a special shout out to Ruben who dishes that were to die for. Ruben was so kind, he even gave me the recipe for his Filipino beef stew that my whole family couldn’t get enough of. We swam with sharks on our last day so we didn’t have time to go for lunch so he had them delivered to our room. Ruben is a wonderful man and I’m incredibly jealous of the people there right now tasting his cooking. I could go on and on about the staff as there were so many more but I’m starting to write a book here! The resort itself looks like a filtered picture. I’ve never seen water that crystal clear before I was in total awe throughout my entire stay. All the facilities were a fantastic addition too such as the free bikes, boats, and swimming gear. I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. There was entertainment all day and night and the weather stayed perfect the whole time we were there. The only complaint I have is that they’ve ruined all future holidays as none will compare to this one! Thank you to everyone at hard rock for giving me the best holiday I’ve ever had.

Amazing. From the beach, to the restaurants and the hard rock café. The food is really good. Different from the all inclusive we usually go, this one was a la carte and you could have starter, main and desert. Theres steaks, seafood and international. Drinks are also the good ones. It was also great to finish the day off at the live music at the hard rock café

From the moment we arrived at this resort... all I can say is... Wow! We were greeted by Kishore who provided us with a 5 star service. He knew our names before we even introduced ourselves. The check in process was fast and smooth. We were seated with a drink and then taken to our beach villa by golf buggy with luggage quickly following behind. The rooms are amazing. I was lucky enough to inspect a few being an independent travel agent. They all had multi use plug sockets so if you are from the UK then you do not need to take a travel adapter. Sockets by the bed have USB ports too for charging your phone. They even provide a Hard Rock Beach bag for you to use while you are staying. You can have endless bottles of still or sparkling water delivered to your room... in glass bottles. This resort is very eco friendly and sustainable and lots of thought and effort has gone into this. We also stayed for the part of the time in a Platinum Overwater Villa and I would highly recommend this for a couple if you have the budget for it. Completely different experience and the marine life we saw left me speechless. Myself and hubby took full face mask snorkels and waterproof phone cases and these were invaluable. We used them everyday. The food is 5 star and I would highly recommend booking the Steak night at Sessions. The steak was included in the all inclusive package and is one of the best steaks I have ever had. We stayed for 9 nights and ate in a different restaurant every day and still did not get to eat in them all. There are so many to choose from. We made use of the kayaks and pedaloes as part of our all inclusive package too and got even closer to some of the marine life. A must do! Each room has bicycles allocated to it so you can use the bed for free to get around the resort. If you are staying at the Hard Rock you can use the facilities at Crossroads and Saii Lagoon by Hilton so there is plenty to see and do. We used all 3 pools and there is something for everyone. I didnt use the spa or the gym as we spent our time mostly in the water but I did inspect them and they are a superb addition to this resort. You look right out to see whilst on the treadmill. Heaven. The food is also heaven (you have to try a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of coconut ice cream together. It's like having a Bounty). Chinese/ Thai/ Indian/ Maldivian/ Steak/ Crab just to name a few of our favourites. The STAFF at this resort are the biggest attribute. They really make it an even more magical experience. They go over and above for you no matter which area of the resort you are in. Kishore offered us a very personalised service and I would like to give him the BIGGEST mention. Saugat and Hassan at the pool bar knew what you wanted before you had even asked for it. Rishi and Panthum at Sessions checked in to see how you are before even asking what you would like to drink, same to be said for Ushed at The Beach Club. Now a firm friend. Nithish at Elephant and Butterfly also making sure you had the best seat and absolutely everthing you needed. Bruce at Reception... nothing is too much trouble and Sundari and Ameer at The Hard Rock Cafe were always at your table. We had another drink being brought to us before we ran out. You leave feeling as though the staff are your friends so I just had to mention and recognise their hard work and attention to detail. I cannot wait to come back to the Hard Rock. It now has a special place in my heart and I think everyone should experience it at least once in their lives. I could talk all day about this place but the reasons I would choose this resort over any other: 1. The close proximity to Male airport. The speedboat transfer was 20 minutes and there is no weight restriction for luggage unlike Sea Plane transfer. 2. The entertainments team and the staff. If you like to be kept entertained and have activities to do then this is your resort. There is a live band every night at Hard Rock. DJ's at the beach club. Or you can just chill. There is an option for everyone 3. The quality and quantity of restaurants. You will be spoilt for choice. 4. The fact that you have access to 3 islands. You cannot get bored here. 5. There is so much included in the All Inclusive package. The cocktails are top quality as is the food, the use of bikes during your stay is free and best of all the selection of watersports activities and the easiness of hiring them out. We have stayed at many Hardrock hotels and visited many cafes over the years but Maldives will have a special place in my heart and my ultimate favourite!A place is made memorable by its people and Hardrock and the outlets at crossroads Marina certainly deliver there . Every single member of staff at Hardrock and at Crossroads are an absolute asset to the organisation. From Pathum the guy with a smile on his face always at sessions to Divya who greets you with her contagious smile at reception of session , Loren who checked us in and greeted us at arrival. Linta who was dotted around the resort Deep and his gang at the Hardrock cafe ! Hasa and the beach bar lads, our room attendant Prasana to the master chef P Vishwanathan at Kebab and Kurry . This guy is a true master in what he does and the attention to detail and interaction with the patrons is awesome . He even prepared dishes off the menu and gave us some masala with his 16 spices to take home. Also a mention to his team with Sangita and Bunty waiting on us . . The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous a great pool area and bar with the amazing beach and lagoon area to swim . The room we stayed in was a golden beach villa with pool-villa 193 - (our claim to fame being us checking in after the famous Fabrizio Romano!)which had direct access to the beach and into the Indian Ocean . There are 3 different food outlets sessions which serves breakfast lunch and dinner. They have an extensive menu and could just eat there and not get bored. They also have theme nights with entertainment. Elephant and Butterfly which is the Mexican and then there’s the signature Hardrock Cafe with live music and great food . For some seriously spicy and delicious fresh Sri Lankan crabs Ministry of Crab is a must OMG. Our fave was kebab and Kurry though we went 3 times . Usually on all inclusives you don’t get much of a variety on food but with the all inclusive package at hardrock is amazing! The variety and quality of food is some of the best I have had. The great thing about this Hardrock is there’s enough entertainment day and night without being intrusive or over the top ! But if you want to chill and have the true Maldivian experience then you can . The gym has enough for what you need on vacation , there’s also plenty of water based activities snorkelling dolphin trips diving and much more. After all the activities you need to go and chill at their spa and have a little bit of pampering . I would highly recommend everyone to visit and stay at this beautiful resort once!

It was super luxurious and fun stay in Hard rock hotel, Spotlessly clean and beautiful place with amazing friendly staff who takes care of every thing in no time, Special mention to Atul Bartender who always made sure we enjoy the pool with amazing drinks, Atul Special Drink was truly amazing also the Snorkeling was worth a lifetime experience there in hard rock. Great time we had there. Would definitely recommend this place. Truly magical.

Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous Stayed 10 nights in an overwater bungalow with pool room 229. Rooms 220 to 230 are the best if you want an unobstructed view. The staff and food at the hotel are amazing and we really liked the bikes you get which are assigned to your room. The hard rock cafe was brilliant, the portions are huge. We did a snorkeling trip with Best Dives which was great. We could have stayed for longer. Never got bored. I had a massage at Rock Spa which was lovely. Holiday of a lifetime. Oggy in Sessions restaurant arranged for us to try a traditional Maldivian breakfast - he is an asset to the hotel.

Absolutely fabulous holiday. It was a beautiful place to stay, fairly close to the airport which is helpful after such an arduous flight from the uk. We had an overwater bungalow which was very comfortable, with private deck and plunge pool. Fantastic beaches, lots of different restaurants to eat at. The only thing that was annoying was that the sun beds by the pool and main beach were always taken and irritatingly reserved even though people didn’t use them until later in the day. This needs addressing. We overcame this by going to the more deserted beach where there were plenty of beds available. Had a fabulous holiday.
