Does Anantara Dhigu have a house reef for snorkelling?

No. Dhigu is set within one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. The lagoon is wide and shallow, which means there is no accessible house reef from the beach or villas. Snorkelling directly from your villa or the shoreline will not produce reef encounters. Snorkelling excursions are available by boat to nearby reef sites including Gulhifushi picnic island, where snorkelling is excellent. The PADI 5-star dive centre has access to more than 35 dive spots in South Male Atoll, including the Kuda Giri wreck and Gulhi Thila. Tip: If snorkelling directly from your villa or the beach is important, this is not the right resort. However, if you are happy taking a short boat trip to reach the reef, the surrounding dive sites in South Male Atoll are outstanding.
