This was our third time in Maldives.
We love the country, the islands, resorts, but fur our Honeymoon we wanted something special, and boy did we get it.
When selecting the resort, we quickly came across Fushifaru and decided to give it a chance, it was probably the best decision (location-wise) we did in a long time.
We arrived to Maldives soon after we got married. The views when landing in Male, stunning as always. Even the airport is being upgraded to attract more tourists, and the terminal made for Hydro-Planes is just fantastic.
Faroukh was already waiting on us as soon as we stepped through the doors of immigration and immediately took us to Fusfhifaru (Coral Lounge) on the Hydroplane terminal, where we got coffee, sodas, sandwiches and whatever we wanted basicaly (included), before we took off (inside 1,5hr) with our seaplane to the best resort we have ever been to.
The flight was short, only took around 40 minutes, and we were greeted in Fushifaru with traditional Maledivian sounds, and cold iced tea, and towels, which allowed us to cool off.
Immediately we were given a person of trust (in our case this was Miss Diksha Beakta who in the next 13 days, took care of everything we asked her to.
She drove us to our Water Willa (absolutely great decision), where fruits, a bottle of wine, and some traditional Maledivian snacks were already waiting on us, it was a perfect start."
The views were fantastic, the feelings, crystal clear waters, calmness took our breath away. We decided on an AI package, which also included 3 massages and 3 different trips" We can honestly say we tried all of them and were incredibly thankful, we were able to enjoy them all.
We went fishing, watching dolphins, and of course snorkeling as well, which in Maledives is beautiful itself, since the waterworld is fantastic and filled with black tip sharks, Mantas, colorful fish, etc.
Since tennis is our favourite sport, we were also able to play it on their grass courts, and i must say it fust all fun, we enjoyed it and played it quite a few times trough our honeymoon. We were no strangers to fitness as well, since it is a lot easier to work out watching Maledivian sunsets and sunrises, while taking a stroll on a treadmill.
The beaches, the bar, the sun, the staff - it was a paradise all 13 days.

Vimal, who served us drinks trough our complete stay, and made us feel welcome from day one.
Nazir, our fantastic barman with the best cocktails there is.
EJ, for making special moments even more special with her honesty, hard work and relaxing approach.
Last but not least, best CHEF's of both restaurant for the food, which was of a great quality, especially some fantastic pieces of meat, fish, and most of all traditional cousine.
We had a fantastic time, experience like no one, and we will be back, as soon as possible.
