Pros: Paradise. Thank you, Finolhu team, for this truly exceptional, unbelievable, and amazing holiday! Everything here is perfect! Friendly, caring, and cheerful service, and every little detail of the design is a small masterpiece. The food is of a high standard (each night features a different culinary theme). The sea life simply blew my mind! Fantastic creatures and dreamy landscapes abound. The ocean pool villa became my second home, bringing pure bliss: greeting the sunset, watching ocean waves with a cup of coffee, swimming to my favorite music, and taking aromatic baths. Special thanks to Maria and Ana for being caring, kind, friendly, and cheerful. I'll remember this experience for my whole life!

Guaranteed a great stay as there is something for everyone
Pros: The resort is great value for the wide variety of food and beverage options and activities and facilities. Dive centre has a very competent dive operations. large gym and spa with interesting yoga classes. Water villas are recommended. Staff across the resort do their best to make you feel attended to and welcomed.
Cons: Some may find it a little far within the Baa atoll to get to Hanifaru Bay but the resort is good value and the benefits outweigh this fact.

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit guter Betreuung.
Pros: Die Lage und Ausstattung sind gut. Die Mitarbeiter arbeiten bis hin zum Geschäftsführer in herausragender Form als Team. Die Ausflüge werden auch bei geringer Nachfrage durchgeführt.
Cons: Die Weinkühler in den Villen sind zu warm und aufgrund ihrer kleinen Größe und der allgemeinen Umgebungstemperaturen nicht geeignet. Die Verpflegungspakte werden nicht transparent genug vermarktet. Dass selbst in der höchsten Kategorie für einzige Speisen in der Restaurants dazu gezahlt werden muss, grenzt an eine Unverschämtheit.

Incredible experience as a family at Finolhu
Pros: We loved the villa, amenities, and amazing service from all the staff. We booked this hotel in part thanks to the Kids Club and it did not disappoint, the nannies were sweet and trustworthy. Our daughter had a wonderful time! We booked upon arrival full board, it was the best choice. The drinks menu for full board dining was really good, the food was delicious... the Villas are fabulous as well as the pool. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

Pros: amazing property with modern, colorful and spacious room with private atmosphere. communication worked excellent via a dedicated Finohlu App as for the overwater villa walking distance was about 15-20 mins to beach house and bar so used mostly a buggy pick-up. food and staff were equally first class and excellent.
Cons: buggy pick-up waiting time was sometimes annoying also when the app didn’t work for some minutes. If you do not book Premium All-Inclusive expenses are extremely high. We did an upgrade to all-inclusive and milkbar offers or burgers at the beach bar were still not included and charged on top.

A Magical Stay
Pros: We received a room upgrade on arrival that was much appreciated and enjoyed. The staff was warm and focused on making our stay as pleasant as possible. Illy coffee (nice touch)! Our dinner down at the beach shack was exceptional (seafood platter) and topped with a cake in celebration of my wife's birthday. Helping the marine biologist with the coral propagation project...there were dozens of other small details that made this an unforgettable stay!

Stunning place with a great atmosphere and a friendly staff.
Pros: First time in the Maldives, and it didn't disappoint! Having an island for you and a handful of other guests took a relaxing vacation to another level. Finolhu environment and spacious, comfortable rooms only added to this feeling.
Cons: Not truly a dislike, but specialty restaurants at the island were all fully booked, and we couldn't go. Prices of food and drinks are pretty high, which is typical for the Maldives. It may look like a lot at first, but I would recommend all-inclusive package.

Un lugar paradisíaco, una variada y exquisita comida, limpieza impecable y un personal muy amable.
Pros: Todo. Estuvimos con el programa all inclusive premium, 3 noches en sunset water villa con piscina y luego 5 noches en villa playa con piscina. Los 2 lados tienen su encanto por un lado estar en la piscina infinita viendo la puesta de sol y por el otro el acceso directo a la playa..todo fue espectacular la comida muy variada y sabrosa cada día, y lo bueno es que teníamos acceso a prácticamente todo con el all inclusive premium... el personal de los restaurantes muy amables siempre; Messi (nick name) que nos atendió en mas de una oportunidad, tambien Nashuan quien nos recibió a la llegada y nos ayudo con algunas solicitudes. Halil quién nos llevó en los deportes acuáticos fue muy amable. Todos era muy atentos en especial Suresh que nos preparaba los Pisco Sour 😉, Beatriz que fue muy simpática con nosotros y muchos cariños a Sheyma que fue muy amable y dulce con nosotros. 🫠 El lugar de arena Blanca y aguas Turquesa + una rica y abundante comida y bebidas + lo más importante Las Personas que ahí trabajan, hacen de este paraiso tu hogar.
Cons: Yo haría algo con el filtro o el sistema de desalinizacion del agua, ya que se siente olor a diesel en las duchas. Realmente se necesitan áreas con aire acondicionado ya que el principal restaurante donde se come la mayor parte del tiempo es al aire libre por lo que el calor hace imposible estar cómodo disfrutando la comida. El restaurante Árabe tenía mesas adentro y afuera pero en realidad las puertas estaban todas abiertas por lo que el calor aún en la noche era fuerte. Incómodo para comer. El sector del Bar debería tener aire acondicionado, no un una salita pequeña en el 2do piso ( como si fuera zona de fumadores ) sino abajo ..cerrar con vidrios para no perder la vista y poner aire acondicionado...

The definition of Paradise - a real 5 star hotel
Pros: - everything was amazing!! the island is beautiful, big enough but not too big. The intimacy of each customer is a priority for the hotel. - the entire staff was absolutely incredible, I’ve never experienced such quality of service. thank you for your kindness - food was delicious: especially breakfast and Crab Shack restaurant. It was amazing. - a lot of cool activities were proposed - sand bank + the beach were more than beautiful, there’s no word. The color of the sand and of the sea is stunning. I could stay the entire day on my sunbed which were amazing by the way, and a very kind waiter was bringing us some water / cocktails - our beach room was huge, so nice, the bed was amazing. The bathroom was the bathroom of my dreams - no mosquitos at all - arrival at the airport, with a private lounge.
Cons: if I have to say something: - the week we were there was really windy, it was not easy to swim, and I think it’s often the case, + you have corals so good to have aqua shoes - I would have liked to be able to have my sun bed in front of my villa closer to the sea but it was not possible but of lack of sand - you know it’s pricy when you book this hotel and it’s the same on site, you just have to be aware of it. for instance, when you don’t want to eat much, it’s not always easy to find not expensive meals.

La nostra isola del cuore
Pros: È la prima volta che ritorniamo in un posto già visitato e credo che non sarà nemmeno l' ultima. Le maldive offrono tantissime strutture ma se volete un viaggio da sogno dovete venire qui. Non è solo mare e spiaggia bella che ci ha spinto a tornare ma la bellezza dell'isola, l' estrema cura all' ospite e gentilezza del personale. Abbiamo apprezzato il restauro del resort che sicuramente ha ancora di più accentuato la ricerca per accuratezza dei dettagli e per l' estetica degli ambienti. La nostra villa era davvero meravigliosa , così come lo erano le spiagge dell' isola e i ristoranti. La cucina in particolare sempre varia con l' opzione di scelta su 4 ristoranti anche se noi pur potendo abbiamo scelto il ristorante sulla spiaggia per tematiche serali e possibilità di cenare sulla spiaggia. Il servizio kyds club eccellente, hanno coinvolto nostra figlia di 2 anni, Vittoria, in tantissime attività stimolanti e creative per cui volevo ringraziare Valentina e il suo staff. Un ringraziamento speciale va anche a Saju e Sharama che a causa dello smarrimento delle Valigie ci hanno aiutato e soccorso, al personale di servizio, agli autisti in particolare Sky (ali), ad ahmed imraz che con estrema gentilezza ci ha accolti e accompagnato in aeroporto aiutandoci in tutte le pratiche. Per cui quando cercate un posto che vi rimanga nel cuore scegliete Finolhu che per noi è il paradiso terrestre. Grazie per tutto.

Sportaktivitäten wie Yoga nicht im Preis, alle anderen ebenfalls zu sehr hohen Stundenpreisen vergleichbar mit einem Monatsbeitrag in Deutschland für 1 Stunde. Milchbar mit Mondpreisen, ein Cappuccino für 9 Dollar. Tauchreviere zerstört, kaum Fische und fast keine Korallen mehr vorhanden.

Pros: This was the most perfect honeymoon location! Finolhu was picture perfect and far surpassed our expectations. The staff were very warm and friendly, our over water villa was spacious and had fantastic views (we had both a lagoon side view - which I LOVED - it was overlooking swimming pool-like water) and a reef villa (the only downside was the dead coral and how far we had to swim to reach the drop-off where most of the fish are). We found this amazing spot on the island where we could swim from the beach to the drop-off and the snorkeling was AMAZING - we even found a shark (they are not harmful). The food was great and we loved walking to the Crab Shack (GET THE LOBSTER LINGUINI!). Still dreaming of this amazing vacation.

A little slice of heaven!
Pros: Wow what can I say this place was out of this world! We had an ocean water villa and it was gorgeous! Theres even a wine fridge in the villa! The beaches were incredible, the cocktails were amazing (shout out to vaishak who worked at the swim up bar he was fantastic). I wasn’t drinking because I was pregnant and there were so many options for me for fun things to drink! It was a dream come true!
Cons: I’d like the resort to encourage people to pick up washed up litter along the sandbank, maybe have some bags you can take whilst walking along to help the ocean a little bit! Also it’s impossible to get into the a la carte restaurants. I stupidly read the reviews but though because we weren’t on the all inclusive package that we would get priority, that was not the case, we ended eating in the villa a few nights because of this, which wasn’t a bad thing to be fair!

Pros: Review of Finolhu From the Beach kitchen, the best cheaf is Mr. Husain. He makes excellent grill chicken and meet which is outstanding compared to anywhere in the world. Mr. Annos from the beach kitchen was very helpful for my stay and provide additional information for me Yasin from beach kitchen is an artist's on drawings. Khalil from diving center is an expert in marines life. Strongly encourage to have dolphin cruise and snorkeling class. He was Very kind and supportive for us From reception, Fatina and Rain were very helpful to support us and answer any question i have in Maldives. The drivers of Buggy were essential to the hotel success Anna from guest relations was conforming about our stay happiness all the time which reflects the hotel support and care to guest I may forget some name, but overall experience was amazing for couples to visit and enjoy the stay. We were having Pool Ocean villa which is larger than expected with direct access to the ocean. The hotel facilities to have multiple restaurants, coffee shop, tinnes court, beautiful beach were essential to enjoy Maldives.

シンガポール航空深夜便、個人手配で小さな子連れの旅行でした。 最初に相談した旅行代理店では、子連れで水上飛行機を利用する移動はハードルが高いからと別のホテルを勧められたのですが、諦めきれず全て個人手配しました。 英文でのメールのやり取りが少し面倒ですが、DeepL 等の翻訳アプリを使えば、何の問題もありませんでした。返信も非常に迅速でしたし、前日泊のマレ市内のホテルとの連携も完璧で何一つストレスなく安全で快適な滞在でした。 ポップでカラフルなデザインが目を引くホテルですが、滞在してみるとそれらハード面よりもスタッフの皆さんの温かでフレンドリーなおもてなしにとても感動しました。 長く続く砂州と海がとても綺麗で、早朝の散歩は本当に幸せな時間でした。 ただ、サンドバンクの先端までは行けない様なので、海の真ん中に浮かぶ砂浜を歩いて端まで行きたいならComo cocoa の方がいいかもしれません。 レストランの予約やハウスキーピングなどはホテルのチャットアプリを通して行えるので、翻訳ソフトなどを活用すれば私の中学生レベルの英語でも問題ありませんでした。 マレからリゾートへの出発は朝8時で午前中には到着しました。 帰りが23時過ぎの深夜便だったのが一番不安でしたが、リゾートを発つ17時までお部屋を使うことができ、更に21時過ぎまでマレにあるフィノールのラウンジで滞在させてもらえたので、寝てしまった子供を抱えて空港で路頭に迷うことなく本当に助かりました。 フィノールのラウンジはとても清潔でシャワーもトイレもあり、軽食も頂けます。そんなお部屋をほぼ貸切状態で使わせて頂けました。 混み合う国際線のラウンジと比べても快適さは雲泥の差です。 帰国便のチェックインも、アテンドの人が最後まで付き添って頂き 優先レーンを利用させてもらえました。最後の最後まで面倒を見てもらえたので、個人手配にも関わらず、ツアー旅行以上の安心感を得られました。 私達はすべてのレストランを選べるオールインクルーシブプレミアムにしましたが、子供連れだと食べられる料理も限られるので、普通のオールインクルーシブやハーフボードでも良かったかもしれません。どのレストランも食事はとても美味しく、毎日テーマが変わり飽きる事なく楽しめました。 滞在中日本からの旅行者は私達だけだったと思います。と言うかアジア圏の人はほとんどいませんでした。 英語圏、中東、ロシア、ヨーロッパからと思われる方がほとんどで 中華系含むアジアからの旅行者は3組ほど見かけただけでした。 新婚旅行のカップルより、子連れの家族が多かったのが印象的でした。 水上飛行機を利用するリゾートは中華系の団体旅行に組み込みにくいのかもしれません。 コロナ規制が終わって本格的に海外旅行が賑わってくるとまた変わるかもしれませんが。

We had the most amazing stay at this resort. Cannot fault a single thing. From all their restaurants (Kanusan was my favorite) to room service and personal butler services all amazing. Where do I even begin? This resort swept me off my feet and dropped me right into a slice of paradise! From the moment I arrived, Steven Phillips and his incredible team made me feel like a VIP. I mean, who needs a red carpet when you have such a warm welcome that practically hugs you? Let's talk about those water villas! They weren't just rooms; they were my personal oasis. The interior was like stepping into a design magazine come to life. Every detail, from the plush furnishings to the sleek accents, exuded luxury without being pretentious. I could have spent hours admiring the craftsmanship of every piece. Now, let's talk about the bathroom. Brace yourself for the view because, believe it or not, it's ocean-front! Yes, you heard that right. While soaking in the tub or freshening up, I was treated to an unparalleled vista of endless blue. It felt like a surreal blend of comfort and nature's masterpiece. And the deck – oh, that deck! It was more like a private terrace to heaven. Spacious doesn't even begin to describe it. Asimismo, excepcional recibimiento en el hotel. ✅ Todo el personal ha sido muy atento, amable y servicial en todo momento. Agradecer la atención de Nashwan en todo momento por Whatsapp que ha hecho nuestra estancia maravillosa. Además de la atención en el beach bar de los chicos, que no nos faltaba de nada en las hamacas. ✅ Habitaciones muy grandes y espaciosas con una decoración fantástica. El mini bar con el servicio todo incluído premium es fantástico con una nevera de vinos incluída. La limpieza de es de 10, hacen la habitación 2-3 veces al día. Estuvimos 3 noches en la private pool villa y 3 en la ocean pool villa, ambas villas son increíbles. ✅ ¡La comida de todos los restaurantes es exquisita! Nunca he comido tan bien en un resort. Es maravilloso el todo incluído premium para disfrutar de los restaurantes a la carta sin preocuparse por la cuenta. Finolhu is a place I never want to leave! The water is crystal clear, blue and bright. The sand is clean, there’s wildlife you can spot from your villa! I saw ao many aquatic creatures, I did the dolphin cruise too, the buffets at breakfast lunch and dinner are awesome! The staff here seem like they genuinely want to know you, and Mickey Mauch memorised our order fully! He was super friendly, same with the other staff! Nashwan was our driver and he was really helpful with giving us suggestions of where to go, what to see, and what to do! Ricky was also really nice, and we saw him quite often whilst we were eating. Finolhu is a great place to stay during your vacation, and i would definitely come back here. Though, apply lots of sunscreen and check the UV rays whilst swimming as the private pools don’t have a shade cover over then, making you prone to sunburn. Other than that, I had an awesome stay at Finolhu and would recommend you to go too!

AMAZING! We loved every single part of the stay. Amazing rooms, large and clean, and hotel, they offer many activities to do during the day, as well as cocktails, parties.. You can tell from the staff that they really know the island and the sea, they were always informing us, swimming with us and even playing some games. What we love the most is that there is not mosquitos in the island ( I don't know how they did it, but we didn't see any during our stay) not in the island or villa. Restaurants are amazing ( the best is the japanese by far). But we also loved the little cafe they had and the seafood one by the island. Overall great experience, we were scared about being bored in Maldives, but wasn't the case at all. Great service, they all look like a family and super friendly and the hotel couldn't be better. Thank you we will for sure be back soon!

Our 1st trip to The Maldives, we decided to choose Finolhu Baa Atoll as it was highly recommended by our tour agent Adore Maldives. Adore Maldives planned our trip for us and Finolhu Baa Atoll exceeded our expectations in many good ways. From the moment we arrived in Finolhu, we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of. We spent 2 nights in beach villa and 2 nights in ocean pool villa and their rooms were so spacious, beautiful and unique in its own way. Food was good, selection was considerably plenty. We had our activities such as sunset bottom fishing, dolphin cruise, floating breakfast, spa and everything was perfect. Beach, sparking crystal clear waters are out of the world! It’s so beautiful and the resort is clean and well maintained. We were communicating with the resort via Finolhu app and they are very responsive. For us, we have no complaints on food, room, activities, sceneries, beach but what really stood out was the people in the resort. A few to highlight, Jeffrey, Diana, Marc, Selma, Yasin, Ricky, Martine and our beloved butler Ikram. They made our trip memorable. Ikram really go extra mile for us. The night before we check out, she did our Imuga declaration for custom without us expecting. It’s like she really cares and take good care of us. Another person, Jeffrey was truly so sweet to decorate our table during our last meal there without us expecting. It’s really the people there that makes it so wonderful. What we love about the people there is that they genuinely care and will do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. To us, Finolhu has given us a perfect Maldives holiday and it is everything that we could ever think or dream of. They are truly a 5 star resort with 6 star hospitality.

Finolhu is everything you'd expect from a stay in the Maldives. Crystal blue waters, white sand, luxurious accommodation and incredible dining. We stayed in an ocean pool villa which was spacious, with incredible sunsets over the water. You could see schools of fish swimming in the water while lounging in your private pool. The food was faultless, some of the best we've had. And the staff lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Nous sommes parti a finolhu au mois de février, on a passé une magnifique semaine de vacances . L hôtel est fabuleux , le personnel très gentil , très serviable et toujours à l écoute . Nous avions Sheyma qui s est occupé de nous du début jusqu’à à la fin de notre séjour elle parlait notre langue et elle était là à chaque instant quand on avait besoin . la restauration était très bonne , un buffet tous les soirs ou sinon le choix de trois restaurants qui étaient eux aussi très bons . je recommande l hôtel à 100 %

Viagem dos sonhos! Passamos 10 dias nesse paraíso para festejar os meus 40 anos e o da minha irmã gêmea. Lugar lindo, estrutura nova e limpa, serviço impecável. O que falar dos funcionários do Finolhu? Todos super simpáticos, educados e atenciosos. Eles fizeram de tudo para fazer de nossos dias ali os melhores das nossas vidas. A gente pedia uma coisa e imediatamente eles providenciavam. Incrível !! Um destaque especial para o chef Emmanuel que foi muitoooo atencioso, carismático e profissional. Ele preparou 3 tortas lindas para festejar nosso aniversário. Uma torta logo depois do jantar (com direito a festa surpresa) e as outras duas no quarto onde eles também prepararam nossa cama com uma decoração estilo maldiviano (com os nossos nomes e felicitações). Lindo demais!! O que dizer do dive? Espetacular!!! Eu consegui fazer meu curso de mergulho porque eles tem um professor de mergulho brasileiro, Maneco, que é incrível, super profissional e super simpático. Amei!! Assim não tive problema com o idioma. Ah, o Finolhu também tem restaurantes premiados, deliciosos, super bem decorados e aconchegantes. Tem também uma suíte Beach bubble, uma bolha transparente com uma estrutura maravilhosa para uma noite diferente! Outra coisa que achei top. Já estivemos várias vezes nas Maldivas, mas dessa vez foi mais que especial

The island is breathtakingly beautiful, the entire staff is incredibly kind and friendly, the food is wonderful and there is so much to do! We stayed for 2 weeks and could have easily spent another week here without getting bored. Helps, that the views just don’t get old! We especially enjoyed dinner at Kanusan, with incredibly good sushi and the lovely hostess Hartini (hopefully the name is right), greeting us like old friends every time we ate there. The Jetski tour was another highlight of our stay, Adam took us out on the water finding a massive school of dolphins. An unforgettable experience! Also our turtle snorkeling tour was successful as we swam with 4 of these beautiful creatures. We treated ourselves to some incredibly relaxing massages, where Laxmi stood out - definitely ask for her! Lunch at crab shack was heavenly, the atmosphere is absolutely blissful! Upul always made sure our glasses were filled with wine, showing off his German speaking skills in conversation :) Martine from guest relations and Snow made sure everything was always to our satisfaction. I have celiac’s so unfortunately have to rely on the chefs knowledge to not get sick and that worked great at this resort! I was always taken seriously, received help at the buffets and was well taken care of! The menus are marked and many dishes can be modified. The few days I had a sore throat Sushma at the bar was lovely, making me tea with fresh ginger and adding honey and lime on her own to make me feel better faster. Overall we fully enjoyed every second of our stay, the overwater pool villa is definitely worth the extra charge! Truly heaven on earth!

알록달록 민트색 핑크색에 귀엽고 통통튀는 인테리어로 꾸며진 fancy한 리조트입니다 밤마다 클럽에서 디제이가 음악을 틀어주고 인테리어가 쨍한 색감이라서 전반적으로 모든 분위기가 귀엽고 팝한 느낌! 마음에 쏙 들었어요~ 곳곳이 다 너무 멋지고 예쁘고 아름다워서 머무는 내내 행복했습니다 워터빌라를 많이 기대하고 갔는데 오히려 워터빌라보다 비치빌라가 더 예쁘고 좋았어요 투숙객은 동양사람들은 많이 없고 유럽인들 비율이 높은 듯

Stayed in February. Beautiful beach, overwater bungalows. The bungalows are big and very modern. Delicious food at the restaurants and crab shack The white party is awesome. Also a dj at the pool some nights. Staff were very friendly and knew your name, breakfast preferences, drinks etc. we didn’t come with our kids but it also a wonderful place to come with kids with kids club beautiful beach, and very welcoming. The seaplane to get there is also very scenic and you see many island resorts.

تاريخ سفرتي كان من ٣ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٢ الى ٧ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٢ المنتجع جداً جداً رائع ونظيف استخدمنا الطيران المائي للوصول له الموظفين بشوشين خدومين ومتعاونيين كل شي كويس بهالمنتجع لكن ماعجبتني نقطة انه مافيه سوبرماركت وغلطتنا اننا ماجبنا معنا مشروبات ( مشروبات المنتجع ماناسبت ذوقنا ابداً ) واكيد لاتنسون تجيبون معكم سناكات الأكل لذيذ بالمطاعم الموجودة اخذنا فيلا جهة غروب الشمس( كان المسبح والبحر من جهتنا بارد شوي اذا نزلنا فيه) اخر يوم حطونا بفيلا جهة شروق الشمس الموية كانت حلوة ودافية وخيار ممتاز للي حابين يتشمسون فيه تطبيق تبع المنتجع موضح فيه الانشطة اليومية بالاضافة الى امكانية التواصل مع الموظفين بحيث لو تبون يرتبون لكم حجز ( افضل الحجوزات من اول يوم للانشطة ، مساج ، جلسة تصوير او مطاعم عشان تلحقون ) اللي حاب يعطي بخشيش للموظفين يجيب معاه كاش لأن مافيه امكانية سحب فلوس بالمنتجع اي فعالية او مطعم او او يخلونك توقع على الفاتورة وعند التشك اوت يصير الدفع لكامل المبلغ صدق صدق مكان مررريييييح يخليك تنسى تعب الشغل والضغوطات ترجع لأرض الوطن مروق ❤️

Had a fantastic New Year's stay here. The service is exceptional - starting from the second you leave the airport in Male, everything is taken care of. The villa was great, always meticulously clean and with random pleasant surprises. We had a fantastic view of the sunset as well. The food in general is very good in all of the restaurants. The buffet in the main restaurant has a wide variety of good, most of which is quite tasty. The spa experience is also quite nice and there is a wide range of activities available on the island. In addition, the resort also organises some social events. Overall, a unique and great experience. Special thanks to Martine and Shammas who took care of us during our stay.

Ein Ort an dem man wirklich runter kommt. Wunderbare nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Ein tolles Resort, das hohen Ansprüchen in jeder Hinsicht erfüllt. Die Restaurants bieten täglich wechselnde Mottos und Gerichte aus hochwertigen Zutaten. Ebenso hochwertig ist die Weinauswahl in der jeder etwas findet. Die Häuser sind sehr modern und ansprechend ausgestattet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung geben , auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.

We stayed 3 nights on a water villa and had an amazing experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Each morning we were treated to a great selection for the breakfast buffet too. There’s something there for every diet and culture. And, despite the unpredictable weather, our room and the hotel facilities made us feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Overall, this place is a true paradise, we highly recommend it, and we look forward to returning again soon.

What makes Finholu such a great Maldives Resort is not just the comfortable over water villas, the different restaurants or the house lagoon but the wide team of friendly staff that work tirelessly to ensure you are having a great time. As soon as you clear baggage reclaim on your arrival at Malé, to the moment you pass back through airport security on your departure, there is a Finholu staff member there to support you. Our Sunset Water Villa was spacious. A large comfortable bed looked out onto a wide terrace with small pool. The terrace was large enough to provider space for a big daybed, two rocking chairs and two loungers plus a small table and chairs - and outdoor shower. We had an uninterrupted view out to sea for some beautiful sunsets. Inside, there was space for a large sofa and plenty of storage space and wardrobe space for our clothes. A mini bar fridge with fresh milk meant we could start the day with a cuppa! A large bathroom (everything was large and spacious) included a bath looking out across the water, his and hers sinks two more showers (indoor and outdoor) and of course the loo! The resort has four restaurants - the main one is for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving a wide buffet selection for each course. Breakfast cuisine covered everything from continental to coco pops, asian, Indian and more. Lunch was always a wide selection of freshly prepared food including pizza and grill options. The buffet dinner changed every night for new themes including seafood night which was incredible. The additional restaurants are open on different days/nights of the week - the Japanese is high end Sushi, the Arabic restaurant served a wide range of meat and veggie dishes. The crab shack - way out on the sand spit was the place to eat for a 'seaside vibe' with lobster rolls and more. There were two all inclusive menus (all inclusive and premium all inclusive) which gave you a different choice of wines and spirits, plus more contributions to the special restaurants. We were very happy with the selections on the all inclusive. During the day there is no shortage of beach to relax on, with plenty of loungers and day beds available. You can also lounge by the pool next to the bar, or sit on your own terrace. With some villas you will get a small pool which is great if you just want some private sunbathing. Snorkelling is good - there is a small house reef just off the beach with a resident turtle. We saw sharks every day and plenty of reef fish just from our deck. Depending on the season, you can take a boat out to see the Mantas feeding which is incdredible. The staff are brilliant, from picking us up at the airport to seeing us through customs on the way home, they worked tirelessly to look after us, For every name that we mention, I expect there will be an army of support whose names we don’t know. For Martine and Beatriz in customer experience, Sadu and Teddy who helped with the airport transitions (and helped retrieve my lost card!) The great food and beverage teams who looked after us every day, Upul, Ali, Shuau, Jeremy, Naufal, Zai, Einnass & Ricky. Thank you All!

Finolhu es un gran resort de 5 estrellas. Nosotros nos alojamos 6 noches en una ocean pool villa. La atención es excelente desde la llegada al aeropuerto, te recogen y acompañan en todo momento hasta coger un hidroavión a la isla. (Igualmente con la salida). Una vez en el hotel, el equipo se encarga de satisfacer todas tus necesidades con una sonrisa. Todo el personal es muy agradable y servicial. Tienes bastante playa a tu disposición. Siempre tranquila. Muy bonita, con cangrejos pequeños por todas partes. Al no ser un hotel muy grande, sientes rápidamente que el equipo te conoce, con un ambiente acogedor y cercano. La habitación es muy espaciosa y la piscina lo suficientemente grande. Un detalle es la pequeña vinoteca junto al mini bar. Otro es el equipo de sonido Marshall. Hacen la habitación 2 veces al día. Todo impecable. Es un hotel pensado para amantes de la gastronomía y el ocio. Los restaurantes son de muy alto nivel, destacan Crab Shack y Kanussan. El buffet principal tiene muchas opciones de cocina en vivo. Hasta el café es de calidad. El servicio de buggies funciona de maravilla, prácticamente nunca tuvimos que esperar. Destacamos el trabajo de Ahsam. Muy profesional. 👌🏼 Los espectáculos son divertidos, creativos y mucho más trabajados que en otros hoteles similares. Cada día algo nuevo. Importante la música, con DJ amenizando tardes y noches. El equipo de experiencia de cliente está todo el día pendiente de los huéspedes. En nuestro caso, destacamos la labor de Beatriz 👌🏼 . Las bebidas alcohólicas son de primeras marcas. Buenos vinos. Haciendo snorkel desde nuestra habitación pudimos ver pequeños tiburones, mantas y peces de colores. Te prestan el equipo de snorkel. El spa ofrece masajes de alta calidad y con unas instalaciones maravillosas. Muy equipado el gimnasio. El último día pudimos aprovechar la habitación y el hotel sin cargo adicional hasta la hora de salida de nuestro hidroavión. (16:45h). Nuestras recomendaciones: ✅ Coge la opción todo incluido premium, la diferencia en precio merece la pena. ✅ Reserva los restaurantes a la carta unos días antes de tu llegada y aseguras las opciones que mejor te vengan. ✅ Reserva para cenar en Crab Shack la noche de la White Party. (Además de algún almuerzo). ✅ A Crab Shack podrás llegar dando un paseo o en uno de los barcos del hotel. Prueba ambas opciones, sentirás como si fueras a otra isla. ✅ Ojo con las excursiones y extras, recuerda que tienes que sumar los impuestos adicionales. Ojalá podamos volver pronto! 🤞🏼

Well what can I say about Finolhu , the most beautiful resort we have ever stopped at!! We choose this romantic destination for our honeymoon and it certainly didn’t disappoint.. In fact it was ever better then our expectations. The food was out of this world !! And where do I start about the staff.. went above and beyond to make our honeymoon amazing.. the extra touches they did, by the end of the honeymoon we felt like we made friends! It’s not just a job to them they love it, and a very special mention to all these beautiful people that were quite simply wonderful and 5* Bia Ikram, Shazine, Ricky & Ali Nashad ( crab shack & Arabian grill ) we can never thank you enough for all you did! Even playing football will Bia & Ikram to which they have created a fab ladies football team and I was very impressed with there desire and commitment to this!! We stayed in the ocean villa and omg the views, the comfort, !! The food was absolutely stunning !!! The crab shack definitely a must as you can eat delicious food overlooking the crystal clear Indian Ocean and feel the white sands in your toes … we stayed in the beach bubble and spent the whole evening looking at the stars .. with a private dining meal hosted by Ozil true gentleman and make the evening a memory that will last a lifetime with my wife .. we also had the private cinema in the beach me and my wife watched the notebook and it was surreal … lots of tears that’s for sure with that film and hearing the crisp waters near by…the weather was beautiful!! I mean I could go on and on… anyway thank you finolhu for quite simply the best time of our lives !! And we miss you all so much .. and We will definitely be back !!!

An incredible resort, an unforgettable experience. 10 nights of pure relaxation in paradise. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and all seem to have excellent memories. There are lots of resorts in the Maldives, but this one is different … it touches your heart in a special way. I was there with my partner in mid-September and we had a perfect holiday. Also with the weather we were very lucky. The resort is incredibly clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is a dream! We liked the Kanusan Restaurant the best. From our Ocean Pool Villa we could go snorkelling every day, because the resort has a great house reef and you can rent snorkeling equipment free of charge throughout the holiday at the Dive Center. We did the Turtle & Dolphine Excursion, which we can only recommend. We have seen over 50 dolphins and 4 turtles and all in under 2 hours. Also highly recommended is the Relaxing Balinese Massage, I often get massages and this massage gets from me 10 out of 10 points. One of the nicest vacations we’ve ever had. We would want to come back anytime. :)

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Finolhul hotel. The OCEAN POOL Villa is a must! Our first experience was unique because everything was new. The second time was even better because we knew exactly what we wanted to do and how to relax. The hotel staff is fantastic. Even though this was our second time, they made it feel like it was our 1st time. Beach Kitchen, Shuau, Boki, and Ali were terrific hosts, always welcoming us with a smile. One evening I wasn’t feeling well, and Boki went out of his way to ensure I had tea waiting for me in the villa. In the front office, Sheyma always had a smile and was always welcoming to any request; she was present when we arrived and departed, which speaks volumes. Her front office, Saju, no matter the question or request, was always happy to answer and smile. Thank you, Finohul hotel staff, for the fantastic memories my wife and I created again.

An excellent island resort to stay and enjoy holidays with lots of recreational activities on & off beach including a Dolphin cruise & Crab shack to dine. Staff is very professional courteous & helpful. Food is awesome 👌 with lots of Indian origin chefs. Moto of resort is Eat-Beach-Sleep-Repeat to make the stay memorable.

If you’re thinking of booking the Maldives then you must stay at Finolhu! Finolhu had been on our radar for about 10 years, so when we decided to travel for my husbands 40th we had to book Finolhu. We travelled with our 2 young children (4 and 1). From the moment we stepped off the Virgin plane and were met by a Finolhu representative at the airport we knew we had made the right choice. They whisked us straight to the TransMaldivian desk to put our luggage through then straight on the transfer bus to the seaplane terminal to wait in the lounge. We were worried about the weight especially as we had a suitcase for our infant plus the small pushchair but I think we were lucky and didnt have to pay any extra for the seaplane luggage. We only sat in Finolhu’s stylish lounge for bout 15 minutes before we were then told it was time for our seaplane transfer. Again we were escorted straight down to the plane by the Finolhu representative. There were about 12 of us on the 30 minute flight over to Finolhu. It was a very hot flight but super interesting. If you can try and sit up the front to watch the pilots fly the plane barefoot! The welcome at Finolhu was incredible! We were met with about 10 staff waiving at us and they greeted us with cold towels and a coconut drink. Each staff member introduced themselves including the team from the Kids Club who gave my son an Oceaneers backpack and my daughter a Seahorse soft toy. We were then whisked away in a golf buggy to our villa by our Villa representative (butler/concierge) with a little island tour on the way. Room/Villa We were assigned villa 317 which to our surprise was an upgrade! We had booked a Private Pool Villa (as we knew we couldn’t be in a water villa with our daughter) and 317 is a Beach Pool Villa and it was amazing. We were overlooking the lagoon side of the island whereas the private pool villas are the other side with a smaller beach. We couldn’t fault anything. The room was spacious even though we had to have a cot in there. There was a great dressing room area with a side table with coffee machine and lots of bottles of water. This is where the mini bar is which, im annoyed to say we hardly used! (We had booked all inclusive premium package so all the drink and food in the mini bar was included - however room service was not part of the package). Our room had a fantastic pool and we could see through the trees out to the beach and lagoon. There were 2 loungers with a shade as well as a big lounger bed up by villa doors. All amenities you would need are included. You need to ask for iron/ironing board though. We even got given a pushchair to use for our daughter that was so much easier to push on the sand! Our butler Nashwan even took us on the buggy to look at some other rooms on offer here which was great. Whilst inside most look the same sort of layout the outside water villas are just incredible. Would love to book a 2 bed ocean villa on our return. We even got to see the rockstar villa!!! Kids Club Our son was 4 so the Oceaneers kids club was included. He had said he wasn’t going to go however he practically lived there! As there is no kids pool/area at the main pool, the kids club has a small pool with a slide. They also have lots of toys the kids can play with and armbands to borrow if needed. We visited on our second day to try out the kids pool there and we met Zuha and Rossi who couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. They even convinced our son to stay and play for the rest of the afternoon as they were doing cookie making and then going to the island social at the beach where we could meet at 4.30pm. While we were there the resort was very quiet. I’d say maybe 40% full. Hence the kids club was very quiet. But my son struck up a lovely friendship with Raf who is a boy who lives at Finolhu and so is always at the kids club. We ended up dropping our son there every day so he could take part in the fun activities the team put on. He had so much fun and didn’t want to leave some days! The team there really were amazing and we cant recommend them more! Zuha and Rossi even became our babysitters when we booked to go snorkelling early one morning on the resorts free snorkelling trips to the reef. We had to pay for this to look after our 2 kids but it was worth it. We knew they were in great hands! Restaurants As mentioned we had booked the premium AI package which i think is worth it if you like to eat and drink! The Beach Kitchen This was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooks the main pool and the beach. This was buffet style. We aren’t usually a big fan of buffets however this one was great and always had an array of things to choose from. For breakfast the made to order eggs Benedict were amazing! The chef even makes animal shaped pancakes for the kids which was sweet. Breakfast ended at 10.30am. We also ate here for lunch on the days the crab shack wasn’t open (or the weather was a bit iffy). Again no complaints. Only ate one evening for dinner on the day of our arrival but they have different theme nights every evening and it all looked amazing. Arabian Grill We ate here for 2 nights. A lovely location overlooking the beach (next to the Beach Kitchen). We sat the first time outside on the beach but the last evening inside. The food was delicious. It wasn’t our favourite restaurant but we still could have eaten there most nights. Kanusan This was the best! Think we ended up eating there 3 or 4 times and it was worth it! There are both outside and inside options. There’s also a nice bar looking back over to the beach kitchen and over the water. We chose a few items on the menu that were extra (Wagyu tacos & the steak!!). Whilst we didnt mind paying I do think that if you have paid for the premium AI package then you shouldn’t have to pay for these. There is a supplement price on the menu for AI and AI premium guests clearly for you to see. The food here was just incredible. The Crab Shack WOW! Definitely the wow factor for Finolhu. As we had the kids we ended up getting the boat from the main pier to the Crab Shack most days.(You can out the pushchair on it). We really enjoyed every journey. The staff are so excited if they see any turtles or other animals and get you to have a look. The setting of the Crab Shack is great so picturesque. Again food here was great! We had most lunches here. Also came to the Full Moon party which was like a big buffet (included for AI premium) and also the White Party (Friday). Just such a great vibe. LOVED IT! Milk Lab As part of premium AI package we could also use the Milk Lab. But ashamed to say we only went once!! So cant comment much on this. Pool The pool looks beautiful. And has a swim up bar which is always a bonus!! The only slight downside is that the pool is extremely deep!! For most of it I couldn’t touch the bottom. This made it slightly awkward for the kids but with the arm bands and floats we managed it! The big island in the middle helped! Spa Both myself and my husband were able to have a massage at the spa and it was heaven! Wish we could have used it more! Staff The main WOW factor for this resort is the staff. Every single person we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Ive already mentioned the kids club staff Zuha & Rossi - amazing! Staff on the crab shack boat (and for our dolphin excursion) were so great! They had my son driving the boat and looking out for turtles and dolphins. All restaurant staff were sooooo good! Wish we could remember and mention everyone because they seriously all made our holiday amazing. They were so great with the kids. From the pool bar staff, to the team in the Beach Kitchen to the Crab Shack they made every single meal enjoyable. If our kids were whingy or unhappy they were so quick to come help, take them for a walk, bring pens and paper for drawing. They couldn’t do enough for us. Her is just a small list of those whose names we can remember: Elina - guest services director (amazing lady!!!) Nashwan - our villa butler. Amazing guy so helpful and always willing to help us. Weather We were worried before we arrived as we had heard it had been raining a lot however we were super lucky and had mostly great days. It did rain a lot over night but during the day we only had maybe 2 afternoons with rain. We travelled end of Nov/beginning of Dec. There so much to say about how great this place is. We will definitely be back!

Wow 🤩 Finolhu just gets better and better every time we visit! Everything about this place is just paradise. We spent our 3rd Christmas there and once again it was exceptional. From the moment you arrive all the staff work tirelessly to make your stay perfect. Our daughter has a serious nut allergy so we are very cautious about where we visit. Everyone on the island was aware and looked after her from the moment we arrived which made our stay much more enjoyable knowing the food is safe for her to eat. The staff really are incredible and a huge asset to the island. We can’t wait to go back!

From the moment we stepped off the sea plane, everything was beyond our expectations. We stayed in one of Ocean Pool Villas. The villa was absolutely perfect, spacious, beautifully furnished and has breath-taking sunset views. The steps to the crystal waters below we used on a daily basis by all of us. The staff make you feel like it's your second home, attentive, genuine and very professional. The food was oustanding, our favourite was the crabshack, we had relaxing lunches as well as the sunset white party. The food, service and ambience was outstanding. We would love to return again as a family.

At the turn of the year, my girlfriend and I traveled to the island of Finolhu for a week-long vacation. The time on this island was simply sensational for us! From the first minute to the last, we were always perfectly taken care of by our assigned staff member, Ikram. Whether it was reservations for restaurants, bookings for various excursions (reef-hopping, Turtle/Dolphin Safari), or just about anything else. She was always there for us and took care of everything. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the island's staff! They were always friendly, in great spirits, and we felt very comfortable and safe. A special thank you and warm regards to Ikram, as well as Ali, Moustafa, Upul, and Junu! They were always there for us, and we had great conversations with them! Besides the staff, the island of Finolhu offers everything one could wish for. The vacation week passed by very quickly as we were very active (snorkeling, Turtle-Safari, reef-hopping). The excursions were superbly organized and well-managed. I personally snorkeled at the respective reefs for the first time and was a bit nervous. However, with the local staff, all my doubts were dispelled, and I could enjoy everything to the fullest! After the lecture about the local marine flora and fauna by the marine biologist Laurav Ulloar, we decided to purchase a coral tree to take a stand against coral bleaching. We are in contact and regularly receive photos of our coral tree and look forward to seeing it in the sea soon! The food, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, was simply fantastic. The main restaurant offers different themes every day (e.g., Asian, Italian, Maldivian cuisine, etc.) in a variety that is unparalleled! If that wasn't enough, the other island restaurants (Crab Shack, Kanusan, Arabians) offer excellent cuisine! Our favorites were the Crab Shack, which offers a sensational view of the island at the end of the long sandbank. Besides that, there was super atmospheric DJ music and... that amazing "cold" melon soup that I will never forget. Kanusan offers Japanese culinary art and drinks at the highest level! We had a overwater bungalow with a swimming pool. The accommodations and their contents (bedroom with bed, bathroom, toilet, shower, outdoor shower, terrace, pool) were simply breathtaking. Everything was thoroughly cleaned multiple times every day. The refrigerator was consistently restocked, and if we needed ice cubes, they were promptly delivered! Just a dream! These points only scratch the surface of what we experienced. We can only wholeheartedly recommend this island to everyone. We are currently looking for another date to come back to Finolhu as soon as possible and look forward to a reunion! Thank you for the unforgettable time!! Florian & Marie"

We came for Xmas 2023 Our first time to the Maldives and wow it really was amazing The beach and sandbank really are breathtaking, The staff were super friendly. Our butler Ikram really made our holiday special. She treated my kids like her own. They would want to sit with her in the front of the buggy instead of with us. My daughter fell poorly and needed antibiotics, this was arranged easily and quickly. Nothing was a problem. The butlers really make a huge difference to family's experiences I believe, they’d even collect the older kids from kids club and drop them off to parents. They sort everything for their guests, reservations, picking them up and dropping them off, excursions, transfers all of it. I’m not sure how they manage it all on their own, they work so hard. For guests it’s amazing as you have the same point of contact for everything but I can’t help but think for the butlers it must be a lot to manage on their own. Thank you Ikram. The kids club itinerary was really great, so much going on for them, my son wanted to be there all the time and again where it was really safe and organised he could just easily go whenever. The Xmas activities such as family fruit cake making and family gingerbread house making were a lovely touch. The rooms were lovely, we done 3 nights in an ocean water villa and 7 nights in a beach pool villa, both were homely and beautifully designed. The turndown service and cleaning was probably one of the best I’ve had. Leaving the room in the evening with two kids is chaos so the room was always left messy. Everything would be spotless when we returned. One improvement - I would have liked some bed art made out of the leaves that I think seems really common in the Maldives but we didn’t get this. The mini bar has a good selection of drinks and snacks We would also never see the cleaner which was great, never knocking on the door in the morning to see if they could clean yet. It was like they knew what time we would leave the villa in the mornings. The Xmas eve gala dinner was amazing. The food wow was amazing. They had live music with dinner on the beach which was fab. Xmas day Santa came (earlier then I expected) he came at 11am, and then a Xmas buffet lunch which was nice but then it did feel like there wasn’t loads going on for the rest of the day.. I think either a later visit or if something else was happening in the afternoon it would have worked better. They then had a movie (the grinch) playing in the late evening on the beach which was nice but just needed something festive in the afternoon or Xmas music etc. Or if they give guests an earlier heads up that Santa is coming in the morning as then more would probably book the crab shack for the afternoon. But overall it was still amazing There was one day I felt frustrated at the resort as did a few others. They put on a “repeaters dinner” on Boxing Day for repeater guests which is a lovely idea, and I’m not saying they should not do that as it is great to look after guests who have returned. However they totally forgot about the guest back at the resort no entertainment was on at all until 22.30. We had mentioned it earlier in the day also so I at least thought they would have put some Christmas music on in the bar or somthing but nope we sat with bored kids waiting for the 22.30 entertainment. Infuture they need to make sure there is entertainment for both repeater guests and 1st time guests especially if it is held on a festive day such as Boxing Day. Management did apologise but it’s a shame this wasn’t recognised prior to it being an issue. Food was very good, room service was good and always came correct and effort was put into setting up the tables. Food at kanusan was lovely. Lots of choice at buffet, and crab shack was amazing. I think they could do with one more restaurant really as I was a bit sick of the buffet by the end (not the food choice as it always changed) but more the going up and down when you have kids, however I do believe they are building another place on the sandbank which would be great.. you cannot get food to the sunbeds included in your all inclusive, only the buffet at lunch time which I found strange for a 5star resort. As I don’t think I would have been sick of the buffet had I been able to get the kids there lunch at the sun-loungers on the beach or pool. Guest and staff all became friends everyone knew each other all the kids became one big group of kids it was really lovely. Transfers were very smooth sailing and organised, we were met by finolhu staff and the same when leaving. Nothing was to much trouble, we even had a full size Christmas tree put up in our room. We will definitely be returning. Maybe for next new years or next Easter. Hopefully Ikram will still be there!

We went as the last stop on our honeymoon and it was a great success. The service is fantastic and very attentive (always professional without going over the top when it comes to being friendly), the food is varied and very good, the restaurants and packs are phenomenal (half board, all inclusive, premium). The excursions and activities are great fun and there is a wide variety to choose from. Overall we would recommend it, good value for money. We would love to come back in the near future.

We stayed in Finolhu for 10 days in November on Premium all inclusive basis. We had a lagoon villa with a 2 year old and my mother in law stayed in a water villa. I rarely write reviews and particularly 5 star ones but this resort is so so SPECIAL. There is so much heart and soul in the place, it's difficult to describe as it genuinely feels like everyone that works there is truly happy and cares about guest experiences. I wouldn't be able to name all the staff who made such a difference to our holiday but to name a few - Elena, Ricky ( who my son absolutely loved and took him to see lobsters every day), Imran , Habib; Rossi, Zuha, Zia, Mellissa and Iyaaza (from the kids club) and of course Umar, our Roohu, who was so kind and attentive. On my son's 2nd birthday we were surprised with the most fantastic dinosaur cake and dinosaur decoration as they found out he loves dinosaurs. Island: The island is small which worked great for us as we could walk everywhere. The main path is very nicely shaded from the trees and the Crab shack walk is so wonderful especially on sunset. There are lots of turtles and we saw some both while snorkelling but also from the boat on the way back from the crab shack. Accommodation: The accommodation and in particular the lagoon villa we had was great. We specifically went for no pool as our son is only 2. There is great amount of shade both natural and on the terrace which again was very important to us. The room was always stocked up with food, drinks and fruit and nothing was too difficult to arrange, Once I mentioned that we would prefer more water in the room as well as milk for my son this was made available in abundance for our whole stay. The island gets fumigated every morning and every third day they spray for pesticides - so mosquitoes weren't a problem at all, just expect a bit of smell in the morning for 20/30 min. Food: The food is really good and we didnt not get bored for the time we were there at all. We ate almost all the time in the restaurants for dinner and the Crab shack for lunch as we are not big fans of buffet however when we visited the buffet the food looked equally as good with a number of live cooking stations. The Crab shack was a great highlight - the boat trip, the food, the views - the whole experience was something our toddler was looking forward to every day!

Another amazing stay at Finolhu. This was our second time visiting and we are so glad we chose to go back for our honeymoon. The staff treated us like royalty, especially being returned guests. The level of service is exceptional, the food the best we’ve ever experienced, and the activities and excursions well worth it. Already planning our next trip back again

Im Januar 2019 waren wir das erste Mal in Finolhu. Im Dezember 2023 das zweite Mal. Was hat sich für uns jetzt anders angefühlt? 2019 war die Playlist soooo gut, dass wir sie haben wollten. Und es gab damals jeden Tag eine ganz leckere PHO-SUPPE. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns auch diesmal eine PHO-Suppe gekocht. Die Suppe schmeckte von Tag zu Tag immer besser. Die Speisen in den Restaurants waren alle mega lecker. Ich möchte mich noch ganz persönlich für die Aufmerksamkeit auf Grund meiner "kleinen" Gehbehinderung beim gesamten Personal bedanken. Vor allem bei Nashwan. Trotz meiner Gehstützen hat er mir einen Besuch im Restaurant Crabshack, am anderen Ende der Insel, ermöglicht. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Just back in London after our fourth consecutive visit to Finolhu which seems to get a little better each year! The unique selling point of this resort is an incredible beach with the ability to go on long dreamy walks flanked by turquoise sea on either side. Excellent restaurants include Crab Shack which is a great beach restaurant (equally good for lunch or dinner), there is an exceptional award winning Japanese restaurant called Kanusan and the Arabian Grill is also excellent. The Milk Bar is another great amenity where you can have a protein drink after playing tennis or working out in the gym or alternatively simply get a macchiato or a juice on the way to or back from the beach. However, most importantly, the staff and management team are (without exception) outstanding, they are so welcoming/friendly and unbelievably accommodating. Unlike some resorts where it can feel like the staff are effectively just going through the motions, it is abundantly clear that they really do care at Finohlu and it is obvious that they are all very happy to be part of the Finohlu team. The food in the Beach Kitchen is varied and consistently of a very high standard ensuring a significant variety of dining experiences from around the world. My wife and I have visited many leading resorts in the Maldives over the years but we keep returning to Finolhu as it is ticks so many boxes and is particularly good for families of all ages wanting a luxurious yet unpretentious holiday on a truly stunning island.

This was our second trip to Finolhu and it didn’t disappoint. Location and resort are beautiful and staff are absolutely superb. Our over water villa was very clean and attended to twice a day. Restaurants are lovely especially the Crab Shack and food is fantastic. Couldn’t really ask for more in the Maldives.

We came to Finolhu for my mother’s birthday and we were not disappointed. The room was decorated, staff members sang happy birthday over dinner and they brought out the most tasty chocolate cake I have ever had. Asif, looked after us and took great care of us, arranging our reservations and activities. All the staff at Finolhu are so attentive and friendly, I can see why they have a 60% return rate with guests. We met many families who had come for their 5th, 8th and in some cases 11th time to the resort. Ali did a great job at remembering our names and wished us a merry Christmas which was lovely as staff can be so busy but it’s nice that they made time for us. Samey was so lovely and checked in with us when he saw us at different restaurant's and made great suggestions with drinks. Ana made a great suggestion for our starter and helped us work the app and see what was on offer during our stay. Elina was lovely and checked on us during our stay. Other staff members were so kind to us but unfortunately I can not remember all of their names but as the Maya Angelou quote goes, people may forget your name but never forget how you make them feel. I was pleased to hear from staff how much they enjoyed working at the resort as this is so important to me as the staff work hard for their guests and I was glad to hear that they support each other like family and are happy here. We loved celebrating Christmas at Finolhu and enjoyed the parade, we did not come with children but it was nice to see how included they were in the day. We saw the DJ helping a little boy to mix the decks and a staff member who was helping a little girl to pretend to drive the buggy, all of this was nice to see. We had support from the doctor while we were at the resort and we were very pleased with the support we received and the fact that staff kept checking in with us. The resort its self is beautiful, the water is so blue and the air is so clean, coming from a city we appreciated the island breeze. The weather was lovely, we were lucky as we were told it had been raining for 3 days prior to us arriving. The food was so fresh and the chefs tailored meals if we did not like particular sauces that came with the meal. For me, this experience was worth every penny, life is about enjoyment and we certainly had this during our stay. Thank you to all who work here, we appreciated your kindness and help during our stay. Please extend our thanks to all the staff members for their hard work, they were working tirelessly moving things around during Christmas, especially during the Gala where all the chairs and tables were put out on the beach and then moved back in for breakfast. Staff always remained so happy, it made for a great service and nice time away from our home. We enjoyed learning about the Maldives and the many other countries that staff members came from such as Portugal, India and Morocco. Of the many beautiful tropical holiday destinations I’ve been to, Finolhu was stunning! Amazing restaurants, design aesthetic and setting. A tranquil escape from every day life with the option of chilling or participating in the many activities, as desired. It particularly stands out because of the lovely people we met and whose company we really enjoyed. Jin took care of our every need; Anna, Elina, Yeasin and the whole team ensured my son’s VCE results night was a treasured memory forever. It was a real milestone holiday for me with my son and I wasn’t ready to leave. And Dany, thank you for the tennis sessions, tips and patience with our mediocre tennis skills 😂. It was so much fun to pick up a racquet after a decade! We enjoyed the laughs, friendship & company at the white night. Finolhu, you had me at hello and will be pulling on my heart strings until I return….

This is our first time to Maldives and Finolhu is an excellent choice. I like the decor of the room, the friendliness of the staff, the sand bank, the cleanliness of the property, and the kids club. If you like natural scenery especially long sand bank this is the place!

We were recommended this island by friends and it did not disappoint. We had the standard all iclusive package which was great. An overwater lagoon villa was perfectly fine and we had all we needed for our stay. We completely relaxed after a long year of work. I would recommend this island to anyone.

Wir sind in ein Paradies abgetaucht das keine Wünsche offen lässt… Ikram (sie hat uns 14 Tage liebevoll betreut) hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, essen perfekt, besonders die Strandbar Crap shark hat uns jeden Tag zum träumen gebracht. Wassersport hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen… Der Service war in jedem Bereich umwerfend, alle waren sooo freundlich und haben einem das Gefühl gegeben der einzige Gast zu sein. Mich hat besonders das Farbkonzept der Hotelanlage beeindruckt. Mit einem Satz, wir waren wunschlos glücklich und kommen definitiv wieder.

If trip advisor allowed reviews a once per lifetime 6 star rating I would be using it on Finolhu. Everything about the place is amazing - the location, the food and the people working here. Every single person was completely dedicated to making our holiday the best it could be. The senior management team are always around talking to guests which is different to other places where they tend to hide away in back offices. This friendly culture feeds down to everyone who works here - its a lovely touch that the waiters make an effort to try and learn everyone's name. The resort is stunning and there is almost too much in terms of great locations to relax in and things to do to fit into the stay. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed at - and that seems to be the opinion of everyone else who is here as well.

We stayed at the Finolhu resort in the Maldives for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time in paradise! From arrival until the departure of our stay, the Finolhu team took great care of us. Upon arrival, we got greeted by Saju who was our Roohu (Soul). Saju was an incredible host. She had great attention to detail, from the start of our stay she made sure to provide us our itinerary with all of our bookings and helped us with recommendations for excursions and dinings at the resort. We were jet lagged and she was always very understanding and helped remind us too of things that we booked. She assisted us with everything we needed. She was always genuinely cheerful, sweet, and personable. We highly recommend having her as your Roohu. She'll for sure make your stay extra special at the Finolhu resort. We booked the bubble tent for an evening and that definitely was a highlight to our stay. Fairooz took care of us during our evening stay there. He was super awesome! He made sure to take care of everything during our stay at the bubble tent. The chef that evening made us dinner and it was delicious! It was a romantic dinner right by the beach. We got to stargaze, take a bubble bath and had breakfast in the morning by the beach. Visham was our photographer for the Aerial shoot (Drone and camera). We split it up to 2 days and he did an amazing job to capture our stay at the Finolhu. He was able to shoot us when we stayed in the bubble tent. He and his team did a great job on editing and shooting because with the turnaround time that they had the photos and video turned out amazing . (I attached some photos for you to see) We'd like to recognize the wait staff and managers in dining. Everyone was very accommodating and always made sure to take care of us. There were two employees who always remembered our names and made sure to take extra special care of us. We'd like to recognize Ali and Thaiib in waitstaff. They always were kind and did a wonderful job in taking care of us. We really enjoyed the different themes at the beach kitchen and the a la carte dining at Kanusan, Crabshack, and the Arabian Grill. Even the variety for breakfast was yummy. There were vegetarian options, healthy, different cooking stations, fresh fruit and smoothies. We loved the desserts that the pastry chefs made. I enjoyed the creme brûlées, the sorbets, and custard (from the Milklab). It was definitely paradise staying at Finolhu. The staff made it even more special with their kindness and attention to detail with everything. We did not want to leave. The pictures do not do it justice for this resort. It's even more beautiful in person.

After a 30 min seaplane ride from Male, we arrived and stayed at this luxurious resort with my family late last month for 7 days. We had an over the water villa facing the lagoon. The villa accommodated 4 people very comfortably and was superb. The water is so clear & tranquil its beyond imagination. No pictures or videos can do it justice. I'm sure you have ready many great reviews on Finolhu and they all hit the mark. From the accommodation to the food to the ambience and more importantly the staff. They make the stay an even greater experience and leave you unforgettable memories. All the staff go above and beyond. A big thanks to Shammas for all his personal assistance during our stay. Nothing was too much nor too difficult for him to do or assist us with. A big thanks as well to ALI in the beach kitchen. He always welcomed you very politely, he was professional and his attention to your requests was second to none. A great asset to this resort. As a whole I cannot emphasize enough how magnificent this resort is and you will not regret if you choose to go. That I can guarantee you. So, if you want an experience and a holiday that will last you a lifetime look no further than Finolhu. Simply the breathless...

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Here’s my humble review of Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was in fact very difficult to choose a Maldives resort to go to because there are so many choices and they all seem comparable. But I’m so thankful we chose the right one, Finolhu! 🙏🏼 The house reef is important to us because the main activity for us is snorkeling. We snorkel once or twice a day. Unfortunately, with global warming, the reefs have been severely damaged and marine life is not as vibrant and thriving as 10 years ago. But I still find it amazing to see the underwater wonders! Finolhu is one of the finest island resorts located in the UNESCO-protected Baa Atoll. It underwent a major upgrade in 2020 and was redesigned by award-winning London-based design studio Muza Lab. Our lagoon villa is very spacious, elegantly designed and super comfy. Everything in the resort is new and clean, and kept in tip top condition. I peeped into their store and it was also neat, tidy and clean! All the restrooms are spotless, with hand towels provided as well as oil diffusers and body lotion. We have a personal butler who attends to our needs and there’s also an app we downloaded to find info and make service requests. The response is almost immediate. Impressive! All the staff here are friendly and helpful… the service is impeccable! Special mention of Saju, Zai, Sky and Anhaf! The food at the different restaurants are of a high quality with unique cocktails offered at each restaurant and bar. Don’t even know where to start with this review. I hardly ever leave them but felt like this resort needed the exposure that it deserves. From the second we arrived at male airport to the second we left, the service has been an absolute 11/10. We’ve travelled quite a lot as a family and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. It was however, the first time we have travelled with a 16 month old baby and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you download the hotels app and you can order anything to the room. We needed extra baby stuff and they supplied good brand baby shampoo, bath soap, talc etc at no extra cost (we were AIP - all inclusive premium) The island and facilities are extremely well maintained, super clean and just gorgeously decorated. The food is incredible. I’m always sceptical about buffet but the food is just wow. So much choice and really tasty. Even though it’s a buffet, the majority is live cooking stations so you can always get fresh food. Our favourite was the crab shack where you get a boat across to. Again the food was beautiful and the setting is gorgeous, nice chilled vibes. The most important part of this holiday other than the amazing food, gorgeous resort was the staff. The staff really do make this place. Ali took care of us in the restaurants, he was so lovely and friendly. Every staff member was attentive, friendly and so kind to us all and made every one of us feel special without being over bearing. I can’t remember the guys name but we had something to eat in the Asian restaurant and he even got us the recipe for it!! One guy in particular made our holiday. Eduardo. Honestly we’ve never had someone like this on holiday. He was so helpful, friendly and funny. Anything we needed he was only a WhatsApp away. He advised the best restaurants to go on the best nights and the best entertainment to suit us etc. he arranged a special set up for my birthday on the table for dinner, it was beautiful. He is an absolute asset to this hotel and really made our holiday so special. It wasnt a once in a lifetime holiday because we will definitely be coming back here.

We stayed in a Ocean pool villa in December 2023. We did lots of research before booking this property, as this was a very special trip for us as I had just finished treatment for cancer, so we wanted somewhere that was very special. Well, we found it! Right from the word go, we felt at home. The resort itself is stunning, and we fell in love with the decor not only in our villa, but also around the island. Just beautiful. Quality styling and everything is so incredibly clean and comfortable. The island is very spread out, but it wasn't an issue, as there is always a buggy available to take you to where you want to go, if you don't feel like walking. The food - where do I start? We couldn't fault it. We tried all the restaurants and really can't pick a favourite, they were all so good. If I had to pick, I'd say Kanusan and the Crab Shack - both quite different from each other, but the food at both was outstanding. We were on the premium package, and I would highly recommend anyone who likes a coctail or two, or a nice champagne or wine, to do it. We're not big drinkers, but we still got more than our money's worth as the quality of the wine and spirits supplied were top shelf. The staff - where do I begin? Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and always did their part to say hello and make you feel welcome. By the end, I can truly say we made new friends. Just a few notable mentions below, but honestly everyone was so lovely: Nashwan - our butler. What a rock star! Nothing was too much trouble, every text was answered within minutes (or seconds!) and when you needed a ride, he was just there! From making our restaurant reservations, to organising any little thing we needed, Nashwan you certainly made our holiday such a breeze. We can't thank you enough. Upul - our restaurant meals would not be the same without you! Your knowledge of wine, always there to top up our glasses without hesitation with our favourite beverage that you always remembered. Everytime we saw you we felt like you were really pleased to see us. It makes such a difference to be welcomed so warmly. We really miss seeing you! Ali - it was always such a pleasure to walk in to the restaurant and see your smiling face. Such a lovely geniune nature you have, and we loved how you always, without fail, wished us a good meal and a lovely day. It was your mission, to make sure you passed on these wishes to each and every person who stepped foot in the Beach Kitchen. Keep it up, because you did make a difference in our day, every day. Messi - has to be a notable mention as he saved the day with us when we ordered Sri Lankan mud crab at the Crab Shack and couldn't crack the shell! You saved our night, as otherwise we probably would have starved! Last, but certainly not least, Nayif who took such great care of us at the sea plane terminal and at Male airport when we were flying home. We have never had someone walk with us so far into the airport, taking our bags, putting them through the scanners for us and looking after everything. He summed it up perfectly for us by saying that they want to provide the best service possible, but also be friendly and approachable. He was exceptional. There's so much more I could say, but I'd be here for days with all the positive feedback. If you're thinking of going, just do it. We will certainly be back!!

Best hotel that I’ve been so far. The rooms are spacious and that have all you need, the service is excellent ( they clean the room twice a day). The hotel has an app that allows you to check the timetable for activities and has another important information. When you arrive a kind of assistant is assigned to you, in our case Eduardo was very thoughtful, he booked our dinners, recommend us activities to do.. He was available for us every time at any day.

We have just returned from a fabulous early December trip to the Maldives with some very dear friends to celebrate a joint fiftieth. After much research and looking at all the various options we settled on the resort of Finolhu and were so glad we did. Finolhu is an exceptionally special place that has that very rare ability to get everything right. We stayed in an ocean view villa with a private plunge pool. The quality and standard of the accommodation is excellent and we found the villa very well equipped with its own mini bar, two outdoor showers, good wifi and great views. The whole setting on the island is a natural marvel with some great snorkelling over the reef and a beautiful calm lagoon with gently shelving beach that will take your breath away. The food is excellent and we had some wonderful meals in all of the restaurants. The Crab Shack, the Arabian Grill, Kanusan, Milk Lab and Beach Kitchen all delivered consistently excellent and varied experiences without fail every day. We would strongly recommend this resort due to the varied restaurants that are all available with the premium all inclusive package. Where this resort truly excels however is in the quality of the service. We have genuinely never known service as good in any hotel anywhere in the world. Every staff member is exceptionally well trained and seems to be part of a very well functioning and genuinely happy team. There are too many individuals to mention however Shamaas our butler took very good care of us and made sure we were well looked after. The restaurant teams, Kasheed, Ricky, Boki, Ali, Messi, Milon were all on hand to make sure we had a great time wherever we chose to eat. Moustafa was always there to greet us every evening. It was clear that other guests were enjoying the experience the same as we were. This led to a great social and friendly vibe around the swim up pool bar and at the various restaurants. The White party on the Friday night was great fun and we enjoyed partying late into the evening with honeymooners and other half century achievers. I don't believe we have ever experienced such an enjoyable holiday where everything was perfect and we will certainly be visiting again. O lugar já é pela própria paisagem e natureza especial. Mas as as pessoas que fazem o resort funcionar são ainda mais incríveis. Tudo é limpo e organizado nos mínimos detalhes. As bebidas e comidas são ótimas. Para quem bebe o pacote all Inclusive é essencial. Um agradecimento especial ao nosso butler Saffah que cuidou de nós durante toda estada e fez com que não precisássemos se preocupar ou pensar em nada, apenas curtir e se divertir.

This was our first time to Maldives and wow what a surprise we got.We booked it for my wife 50th Celebration in an ocean view villa with a pool.On the evenings I have never ever seen a sunset like this before while sipping rose wine on the decking it was so unbelievable.The villa decor was so modern and tranquil and the view when you open the doors in the morning WOW. From the moment you arrive at Male airport the Finolhu team take care of you through the process of getting onto the sea plane and when you arrive at the resort it’s was unbelievable to be met by the guest relations manager Elinor and her team and we were then introduced / assigned to our butler Jen who took care of us 24/7 what a lovely special Person she is ( Thanks so much Jen for making our holiday special) If you like a varied selection of food this is the place to book.We didn’t have a bad meal in the 8 days we stayed on the island.I must admit what finally made us choose this resort was the reviews of the food from kanasaun / Arabian Grill and our favourite the crab shack it it was a different level 👍👌 I must mention the crab shack more we went most days for lunch and really enjoyed the walk along the sandbank eating some of the best food we have ever tried,Drinking rose wine for few hours listening to the DJ.On Fridays they have the white party which was one of our highlights and we mixed and met some lovely people to dance the rest of the night away. The island is real paradise, the lagoon just amazing, the reef for snorkeling is very nice and the exceptional service from the hotel - this combination makes vacation unforgettable. We return here every year! There are many hotels on Maldives - but Finolhu just the best for us. Perfect and for romantic escape and for vacay with children. I would highly recommend the resort - the location, food experience, villas, beach - everything was amazing. The All inclusive plan is very good, the quality of food - great. The island is very green, the beach is great.

Amazing experiences at Maldives with lovely people. Staffs are all kind and smiley. Food and beverages were high quality. Activities are very variety. View is just amazing. We are 100% satisfied here. So wonderful space!

We had the opportunity to go to Finolhu for our honeymoon and let me just say how amazing it was. From the lovely staff welcoming us to the beautiful scenery. They took care of our sea plane transfer from the airport and welcomed us with coconut water and were so friendly. The villa was everything we could’ve asked for. It was extremely clean and well presented. The island itself is well taken care of and is very beautiful. Mariia was so kind and helpful. She was always there to help us with and inquiries we had and Ali was so kind and took the time to say hello to us every time he saw us. The who experience was so good we want to go back!!
