Incredible experience, cheapened by poor management choices.
Pros: The house reef and snorkelling was the highlight. The food was consistently at a very high standard, with plenty of options available. All other facilities were at expected standard for the price and 5 star resort.
Cons: The quality of the drinks available on the “All inclusive” package was shocking! The wine was barely palatable, and beer available of no brand you have every heard of. The included spirits were all cheap and also of very poor quality. You could pay extra for Gordon’s Gin, Jamisons whiskey etc, but I would NEVER call these premium beverages. These should have been the basic of an All inclusive, and even better quality alcohol given as extra if wanted. Cheapened the whole experience for me and couldn’t believe the cheek of offering such sub standard beverages considering the price you pay for your trip.

loud Italians adn horrible techno music there so better stay somewhere else
Pros: location is spectacular stayed at an over water villa which was nice too- food for the overwater villa residents are very limited so breakfast and dinner is better at the main restaurant which caters for all-but one would think that since you pay much more at least the management would give the proper treament for those who forked out the big bucks- but no!-also other people I talked to also noticed that the waiters are serving those Italians first despite the fact that you might arrived there before them-had the same experience.
Cons: lots of loud Italians there as this property is owned by Italians so they might have a deal going on-loud group of them spoiled the evenings.They shouldn't even be at the over water restaurant yet they were there in loud groups every night!-Also they have stupid very loud techno music nearly every day at least for an hour either for the aquarobic or just to annoy people? They might thought to entertein the young crowd this way as there is no television or radio on the island which I didn't miss either-but this supposed to be a 5* establishment and certainly this tacky loud music doesn't belong there. Completely ruined the ambiance of the place which otherwise would be ideal.

Pros: Це дуже гарне місце! Сервіс просто на височайшому рівні! Олл інклюзив в цьому готелі - це просто якийсь новий рівень! Персонал дуже дружелюбний, завжди раді допомогти. Прибирання номеру 2 рази на день. Гарний ріф, де, займаючись снорклінгом, можна побачити багато гарних риб. Є рифові акули, а в останній день перебування ми побачили навіть черепаху. Нас поселили о 9:00, а виселили о 16:00. За ранній заїзд і пізній виїзд з нас не взяли додаткових грошей. Це просто супер сервіс! Отель організував нам приліт з Мале до резорта і назад (це коштує близько 950 доларів за 2 людини в дві сторони і оплатити ці гроші треба було вже в готелі). Будьте уважні - місцеві літаки з аеропорту Мале до інших островів літають тільки вдень, десь з 7:00 до 17:00, коли ще світло (ми були в січні, не знаю, як в інші місяці). Це дійсно райське місце! Обовʼязково повернемося сюди по можливості!

Super séjour
Pros: L’accueil du personnel est incroyable, les activités proposées sont diverses et variées, ce qui nous a permis de vraiment profiter de notre séjour. La nourriture est bonne et les menus changent chaque jour en proposant des produits frais. Les chambres sont faites 2 fois par jour ce qui est très agréable.
Cons: Le restaurant ne propose pas assez de fruits de mer mais cela reste une appréciation très personnelle. Quelques installations un peu vétustes (sunbed, ...) qui mériteraient d’être remplacées.

Amazing tiny island
Pros: This is our second time on Maldives (first time was 8 years ago and we stayed at Veligandu which we really loved). The Diamonds Thudufushi resort is extremely relaxing - calm, friendly staff, great food (except breakfast), great nature! Some guests come here each year for a very long time which is a quality proof for me. Guests come from Italy, Swiss, South Africa, Russia, etc. We booked the Eco Beach Villa (I double checked before our arrival and the staff notified that Eco is the same as ordinary Beach Villa). Upon arrival we have been provided with villa No 3 but the air conditioning did not work. The staff suggested two other villas and we choose villa No 31 on the different side of the island. Nevertheless it was similar type of villa (Beach Villa), villa No 31 looked bigger and not so outdated. Beach villas No 1-6 are located close to the reception and have long beach between the villa and the sea. Beach villas No 6-26 have a beach just in front of the villa but also a view to the island under construction nearby as well as breakwaters. Villas No 28-35 has the best view and beach. There is no big difference between Beach Villas and Beach Junior Suits (just more space inside) - both are located close to each other alternately. We also stayed 2 nights at water villa. Water villas are very well furnished, with really huge terrace but it is not the best choice for the baby (we stayed with a kid 1,5 years old). As for me beach villas are more cozy. Water villas do not have an open air shower (and the beach villas do). There is no kids playground, swimming pool or some other activities for the kids. However our kid (1,5 years old) was not bored. All of the staff was extremely friendly with him. The Water Sport guys has some kids toys (shovel, bucket, balls, etc). We rented a private boat for the Manta Safari and Snorkelling - highly recommended! Thanks to Raul.
Cons: The below are just facts or recommendations to improve (but these things are not making the hotel worse and are not a negative thing for me): There are no stamps for the postcards, feminine goods, wipes and condoms as well as kids diapers and kids sunscreens for sale in the boutique. So take with you everything what you may need. The spa is a little bit overpriced for what you get (~100 usd for a one hour massage). The house reef is almost dead. However a lot of fish, turtles, sharks. Breakfast is a disaster - poor variety, food is not tasty. I cannot understand why lunch and dinner are so tasty but the breakfast is so poor and the same each day! Definitely need to be improved. A lot of mosquitoes at the beach villa. Beach foreland near the bar is empty and cannot be used - I would recommend to place some umbrellas and sunbeds.

Séjour parfait en tout point Petite île où on se sent vraiment au calme et au paradis Plage magnifique avec plusieurs nuances de bleu Personnel aux petits soins avec les clients Les cuisiniers et serveurs sont adorables Restauration incroyable avec une nourriture de qualité : plats variés tous les jours avec une thématique différente Produits frais et de qualité et produits nobles Buffet à volonté mais plats préparé à la demande avec une belle présentation digne de restaurant semi gastronomique Jus frais et pressés minute pour le petit déjeuner Nous avons fait une partie en bungalow de plage : les pieds dans l’eau , bungalow très spacieux avec une douche ouverte Chaque bungalow a son bout de plage on a vraiment l’impression d’être seuls sur l’île Une partie en water villa nous avons pris la villa pour 4 personnes avec piscine privée: UN RÊVE!!!! Incroyable !!!! Terrasse immense avec la mer à perte de vue et aucun vis à vis Vue direct sur le coucher de soleil de la terrasse Nous avons atteris à 8h du matin le vol en hydravion fut une magnifique expérience quasiment pas d’attente à l’aéroport Nous avons eu notre chambre des 10h après avoir pris le petit déjeuner pareil lorsque nous avons changé de villa : aucune attente Organisation du personnel génial ! Activités nocturnes originales et très intéressantes centre beaucoup sur la vie Marine ce que nous avons apprécié Tous les jours activités snorkelling gratuites : très beau récif avec pleins pleins de magnifique poissons Nous avons eu la chance de voir une tortue des requins à pointes noires et raie sur l’île Et cerise sur le gâteau nous avons pu nager avec une raie manta venue proche de la jetée sans faire d’excursion notre plus beau souvenir Merci à Anisha Raoul et dima à toute l’équipe de water sport pour votre disponibilité votre gentillesse J’ai déjà été aux Maldives une fois l’hôtel était super mais là nous sommes bien au dessus nous reviendrons c’est sûr!

Pros: Herzlicher Empfang und sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und sehr sauber. Das Essen variiert durch verschiedene Themenabende, speziell zu erwähnen waren die fantastischen Sushi. Der hauseigene Schneider näht schöne Kleider zu vernünftigen Preisen und es sind tolle Stoffe zum Auswählen vorhanden. Die Insel ist sehr auf italienische Gäste ausgerichtet und es sind einige Mitarbeiter aus Italien angestellt.

Pros: Tutto. Può sembrare una recensione finta ma sinceramente abbiamo trovato tutto ottimo. A partire dal ristorante a buffet, con un menù variegato e di qualità, piatti preparati al momento, compresi pesce e carne alla griglia sia a pranzo che a cena. Il personale tutto (di sala ma anche in generale del resort) è estremamente gentile senza essere invadente. Gli alloggi sono molto comodi e spaziosi. Noi eravamo in una beach villa e l’affaccio direttamente sulla spiaggia, e quindi sul mare, consentiva di trascorrere giornate piacevoli e mai noiose anche quando non uscivamo per le escursioni. Escursioni che erano sempre ben organizzate. La dimensione dell’isola è perfetta, e il resort è inserito perfettamente nella natura senza stravolgere il paesaggio, ma, anzi, valorizzandolo.

Amazing! Paradise on Earth
Pros: The Diamonds Thudufushi hotel is very nice! It feels like Paradise! The island is truly beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It is small, but not boring at all. I felt connected to the beautiful nature, enjoyed every minute at the island and really relaxed. Snorkeling was great, both at the house reef and at organized tours/safaris, especially all the colorful fishes, manta rays, turtles and small reef sharks (the latter are impressive but not dangerous at all). The personnel takes care of the island, and all the tourists are asked to respect and preserve the exquisite beauty of the coral reef. The food is amazing, with a wonderful combination of Italian and Asian dishes. The personnel deserves special emphasis: everyone here is very friendly and professional, giving every guest a very warm welcome and taking care of any questions. The guides, waiters, chef’s crew, bartenders, receptionists, the doctor, housekeepers...the list can be continued...are great! Easter party organized at the beach was amazingly beautiful! The Balinese massage at the spa, fishing and other watersports activities were cool. There’s a diving center and a small nice gym. Snorkeling gear is provided for free. We stayed several days in the beach villa and then in a water villa, both are very nice. Although the island is very small, it is not crowded, you can always feel almost alone and enjoy this beautiful place not being bothered. Cocktails at the bar are great! You can have a drink sitting by the sea, chat with others sharing impressions about this beautiful place. All in all, I liked the resort very much and sincerely recommend it! If I was asked what else could be added/improved - I’d say that I’d love to have some yoga/stretching/fitness/meditation practices with an instructor at the island.

Back to life
Pros: As we expected, this is a small island with a good house reef rich in fish. We also met a bat, parrots, iguanas and herons at the island. As for the hotel, it is not too new, but clean and tidy. For the use of beach villas residents there is one beach bar and one main restaurant. Be prepared for the fact that drinks at the bar need to be taken on your own. The restaurant offers good quality dishes (except of grills and desserts, they don't deserve attention). The variety of food is not very large. It also seemed to me that there were not many fruits. In addition, you have to wait for the fruit to be cut for you or the main course to be cooked. Ultimately it doesn't sound like a bad thing due to the courteous staff. All staff are very friendly especially the chef and the watersports guys. Thanks to them and a big hello) I want also thank Masud, who put us in a villa overlooking the sunrise and for answering all my questions before arriving.
Cons: Since there are no breakwaters around the island, the waves can be strong and there are many sharp pieces of coral in the sand. Also the sand is quite coarse. To tell the truth, there is practically nowhere to swim. The sea is only suitable for snorkeling.

Romantic Getaway
Pros: BEST TRIP EVER 😍😍😍 The property was amazing. The island is breathtaking the sand & the beach are so clean it’s incredible. The view is honestly beyond expectations it was a piece of heaven. The water has 5 shades of blue & very relaxing. You can either book a beach bunglow or a water villa. We were so glad that we took the water villa as it was THE maldivian experience. & also you get access to both restaurants if you take the water villa. You will get free 40 minute Kayak and all the snorkling equipment for free throughout your entire stay! We were lucky to get 10 min free massage at the spa & 1 hour free sunset yoga class. The room had everything we needed & the house keeping cleaned the room twice a day morning & night which was very impressive. The staff is the friendliest crew i’ve ever met. They are super friendly kind, very polite welcoming & loving they made our holiday so special! Special thanks to Husham Anil Rasul & Masoud for making our experience very memorable! The food is very fresh & clean. And the portions are more than sufficient. 3 meals a day with cocktails & juices at all times. There 2 restaurants one is A la carte the other is buffet. Every night the hotel hosts an event after 10 pm whether a live singer, or a game night or disco night it was so fun! I recommend this hotel to everyone!
Cons: I hated the sea plane transport from the male airport to the island. It was too expensive & very tiring. Felt sea sick all the time.

Cons: Маленький выбор еды. Вся еда и блюда однообразные. Подают самый дешёвый алкоголь. Минибар, как для 5* очень скудный. Алкоголь в минибаре отсутствует. Надо просить, чтобы принесли пиво в номер)))) Расчёт по платным услугам происходит за день до чек аут в кассе. А то, что заказали позже, утром задалбывают звонками и настойчиво просят идти на ресепшн с самого утра, чтоб кассир пошёл отдыхать)))) Его не сильно волнует, что делаете рано утром Вы)))).

Eine sehr schöne Insel, die relativ klein ist, aber umso erholsamer ist der Urlaub. Der Sand und das Meer sind einfach ein Traum - ein kleines Paradies auf Erden. Die weißen Bungalows wirken auf dem türkisfarbenen Meer einfach toll. Die Beachvillen sind schön, hell eingerichtet und wurden täglich zweimal gereinigt. Ein Highlight ist die Outdoor-Dusche. Das Essen ist ebenso zu loben. Ich habe in meinen Urlauben noch nie so lecker gegessen wie hier. Das Personal ist durchweg super freundlich. Diese Insel kann ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen!

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Resort is A piece of paradise great for nature lovers and mental healing. I enjoyed every minutes of my stay having a symphony of colors and enjoy the sounds of the nature. Resort is simple but amazing in all ways for people looking for intimacy and healing. No pools no Tv no noise. Abbiamo soggiornato qui a fine Luglio per terminare il nostro viaggio di nozze . Un mare da sogno . L' accoglienza è stata a dir poco fantastica , personale gentilissimo e super disponibile , alcuni davvero tanto simpatici. Abbiamo scelto la WaterVilla e il servizio di pulizia veniva effettuato in modo eccellente due volte al giorno. Il cibo di altissima qualità , dalla colazione al pranzo/cena agli aperitivi. Escursioni TOP . E posto davvero rilassante , non ho mai goduto di tanto relax in vita mia. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Liked · The resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive. Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food. We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommend this resort for couples. Disliked · The water villa was a bit far from the beach but that is expected, and it is both a positive (nice and secluded) and negative so we really can't complain. On the plus side, they do offer a buggy service which you can call and request from the water villa. We did a 50:50 split with a beach villa, and water villa. The only negative I would say was that the shower at the water villa was not as hot as the beach villa

A must visit place for couples. Excellent host and staff. The view is excellent and the stay was great. The food and drinks are of Michelin grade. Need at least 10 days to enjoy the water games, dives and snorkeling there. So plan the stay accordingly

Прекрасный отель. Долго выбирал его чтобы провести 7 ночей с любимой супругой. По всем критериям выбора, отель себя оправдал: не большой, но и не маленький размер острова, хороший риф, удаление от Мале (надо лететь на гидросамолете 30-40 минут в зависимости от промежуточных остановок), хорошее питание по системе AI, алкоголь, приемлемая цена. В отель в основном приезжают итальянцы, русские тоже есть, около 30%, чуть меньше европейцев и южноафриканцев. Отель очень понравился, с погодой также повезло - всего один день все время было пасмурно, в остальном дождь был только ночью на 1-3 часа. Все детали описаны в + и - отеля. Но в минусах совсем мелочи, потому что на 7 ночей не будет скучно, если вы любите природу. Детям будет скучно, потому что для них очень мало развлечений. Какие рекомендации могут дать менеджеру отеля: Добавить зубную пасту в номера; в номерах и ресторанах закупить вино лучшего качества; добавить рыбное карпаччо в Аква ресторан; обновить sup-доски и добавить инструкторов по водным видам спорта, потому что Дмитрий один и часто был недоступен; снизить цены на СПА и экскурсии процентов на 30%, чтобы увеличить спрос; улучшить вечернюю развлекательную программу; повысить жесткость воды, это позволит экономить ресурсы и при этом быстрее смывать шампунь и мыло с тела; поставить качественный бильярдный стол в новом месте, потому что сейчас рядом с ним очень тесно и кий постоянно куда-то упирается; добавить литературу на русском языке; рассказывайте туристам, что на Мальдивах ночью на пляже можно увидеть святящийся планктон, это очень романтично, но мы об этом узнали случайно.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The snorkeling and marine life were incredible, and the island's white beaches, blue waters, and palm trees made it a true paradise. The atmosphere was so relaxed, and the friendly service with responsive customer service made us feel well taken care of. The food at the water villa restaurant was delicious, especially the pizza, pasta, and homemade ice cream. The communication between staff and management was excellent, and we slept really well as the bed was super comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the water villa as the view was exquisite! One disappointment was the beach bar, the atmosphere wasn't great due to bad music (cheap cover songs), drinks not presented with much effort and unfriendly bartenders. There were definitely some small touches missing that one would expect from a five star resort. However I do feel that we got good value for our money. Thank you Diamonds!

We arrived with zero expectations after a night in Male and we found Paradise! Quality of resort is very good, all the finishes blend perfectly in the nature. The food was very tasty and serving impeccable. We chose to go in June, the weather was perfect, a bit more wind and clouds but in case you look for chilling outside with no discomfort is perfect, even the rain was so calming. Plenty of activities to do, so you will not get bored. Overall a 10+ mark as it was the perfect vacation. If you are booking directly take note that you cannot reach by boat only by seaplane(which will cost you 500usd per person), we did not take this into account but was definitely a unique experience to get there, makes the place more special! Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

paradise on earth. was lucky enough to spend my birthday there in 2021, an unforgettable experience. apart from the gorgeous views, the stay was also sublime and the food was outstanding. would recommend attending the evening yoga class, it takes place on the jetty during sunset. would also recommend going on a boat ride and snorkelling. everyday i wish i could go back.

Thudufushi is a natural, beautiful island with a superb reef, fabulous accommodation, great staff and excellent food. We spent 9 days at stayed in a watervilla facing the sunset, with a large terrace where we had our breakfast delivered to each morning after our dip in the clear ocean. They have 4 poster beds, walk in wardrobes, WiFi and the drinks bar. We loved relaxing and having a bottle of wine whilst watching the sunset on the terrace. The food wherever you eat was divine with plenty of choices. The buffet restaurant is enormous for such a small island and the water restaurant (Aqua) was serving very good food a la carte at breakfast/lunch/dinner. They put us at ease straight away, they were professional, funny, helpful, very polite and made each meal such a lovely experience. The reef is spectacular and full of an abundance of marine life. We saw turtles, manta rays, eagle rays, reef sharks, lion fish and so many more only by snorkelling from our water villa. The boat trips are well organised and have a variety of choices for every day so you really cannot get bored! We also did some dives with the dive center located on the island that provided a real 5-star service that I rarely experienced in other location. The experience was simply amazing: we saw mantas, dolphins, sharks and a wide variety of other fishes. Something that we will remember forever! For a little island it never feels too crowded and is delightful to stay on providing a very intimate experience. Last but not least the staff was simply incredible, always professional, friendly and very helpful. They try very hard to give you the best holiday experience possible and making sure everything was just perfect so thanks to all of the staff for making this the best holiday we have had! Definitely above all our expectations!

So muss sich das Paradies anfühlen. Eine absolute Trauminsel der Malediven. Das gesamte Team sorgt mit unaufdringlicher Freundlichkeit für ein tolles Urlaubsfeeling. Die Bungalows sind sauber und modern, werden zweimal am Tag gereinigt. Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und das sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

Prima volta alle Maldive, un sogno che diventa realtà. Prima volta in un resort 4-5* quindi non valuto in base ad esperienze precedenti ma solo in base a quello che ho vissuto. Devo dire che le aspettative erano altissime e che non sono state assolutamente deluse. Accoglienza fantastica (Miquel davvero molto carino e gentile), camere molto pulite e curate (una volta al giorno pulizia profonda e una seconda volta solo pavimento per pulire sabbia ecc). Noi avevamo Beach 22 lato alba, decisamente molto ventilato per tutto il giorno e al mattino bassa marea ma l'isola è talmente piccola che ci spostavamo varie volte durante il giorno per fare il bagno in diversi punti; comunque il vento permetteva di stare tranquillamente sdraiati sul lettino davanti alla camera nelle ore più calde senza sentire i 32 gradi del sole :-). Il cibo era la nostra preoccupazione (non amiamo molto cucine internazionali) e anche in questo caso siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti: qualità delle materie prime ottima, pasta (RUMMO) sempre a pranzo e cena (ripetute nei giorni le stesse varietà...del resto non ci si può aspettare che in 7gg si mangi ogni giorno una cosa diversa), pesce fresco ottimo grigliato e fatto in altri modi, carne ottima (sia pollo che filetto), frutta fresca direi molto buona (ovvio che può capitare il frutto meno saporito o maturo di un altro...ma è natura direi), dolci buoni non eccellenti ma molto buoni. Pizza sempre a pranzo, cena e anche nel beach bar come snack. Camerieri e baristi gentilissimi (diciamo la maggiorparte) e sempre disponbili. Location fantastica, mangiare e dormire con il sottofondo delle onde del mare non ha prezzo. All Inclusive direi assolutamente ALL a meno che non si scelgano distillati di importazione particolari che hanno un costo. Ottima la presenza sull'isola dei biologi marini (Luca e Roberta fantastici sempre pronti a rispondere a curiosità e a trasmettere la loro passione per il mare) che si occupano, tra le altre cose, di piantare nuovi coralli. Abbiamo fatto un'escursione con loro gratuita durante la quale, oltre allo snorkeling, abbiamo pulito un'isola deserta da detriti del mare (e non solo!!)...un modo per rendersi utili anche se in piccolissima parte. Abbiamo fatto un'escursione a pagamento per vedere le mante...purtroppo ne abbiamo viste solo un paio e sfuggenti quindi la nuotata con le mante è stata velocissima...in compenso al ritorno ci hanno fermato per snorkeling in un altro punto della barriera non raggiungibile a nuoto. La sera relax....tanto relax....era quello che cercavamo...mare e relax....piedi nudi per 7 giorni....ci tornerei domani. Per noi il sogno è diventato realtà, tutto quello che ci aspettavamo e anche di più è stato esaudito...ed ora si sogna la prossima meta. Grazie Diamonds per aver reso possibile tutto questo.

Thudufushi will fill you with wonder and awe.  Pristine waters , white beaches with vast variety of marine life, THE MOST DELICIOUS FOOD(3 times per day) and warm friendly smiles from the staff. We were mesmerized by the bioluminescent plankton that sparkle like tiny blue diamonds in the ocean and on the sand at night(this isn't visible all year).  It was spectacular to see manta rays gracefully swim while snorkeling.  The Maldivian evening under the coconut trees was wonderful. The staff and managers are fantastic - professional, friendly always ready to serve. A team that definitely deserves 5 stars. This is a place to feed your soul, thank you for the unforgettable experience, I'll definitely be back!

Pessimo!!! Resort che vuole passare per un 5 stelle, ma vale meno di un b&b. Sporco (dovrebbero passare a rifare la stanza 2 volte al giorno, non passano nemmeno 1), trascurato, cibo schifoso, con pochissima varietà e sempre uguale, camerieri pessimi e scortesi. Assistenza Turisanda pessima. Si chiede di assegnare delle stanze che non vengono date, si viene spediti dall'altra parte dell'isola che viene spacciata per migliore, ma in realtà tentano di piazzarti di fianco al ristorante. General manager pessimo. In sintesi, i 5 stelle sono altri, questo posto, forse nemmeno una guest house.

Muy recomendable!! Fue nuestro viaje de Luna de Miel y no pudimos escoger mejor isla! 🏝️😍 Es mejor en persona que por fotos!!! Para llegar a la isla, se coge un hidroavión. Cuando fuimos, el personal hablaba inglés e italiano. El trato fue inmejorable, la comida estupenda, las vistas maravillosas y todo el tiempo que se pueda aprovechar haciendo snorkel mejor que mejor 😊

Wow what a chilled and well looked after 10 days we have just had, the food was amazing and the staff were just awesome and if you needed anything they were always ready to help. its not a large island so its really peaceful and we decided to book a villa over the water and every day we went out snorkelling and every day we were blessed with swimming with the turtles, reef sharks and so many amazingly coloured fish it was so amazing, we even had a resident box fish living around out steps into the water which was pretty friendly or curious and the amount of manta rays that swam in over our reef made it so special to just float near them as they slowly cross the reef. there are a few excursions to see different sea life but we saw everything from our own water villa reef location so this place has such an amazing location and facilities it deserves 10 stars out of 5 all day long.

Das Hotel Diamonds Thudufushi ist einfach unglaublich. Von der herrlichen Lage direkt am Strand bis hin zu den luxuriösen Zimmern ist alles absolut erstklassig. Die Aussicht auf das glasklare Wasser und die spektakuläre Umgebung sind atemberaubend. Das Restaurant ist ein absolutes Highlight des Hotels. Die Küche ist erstklassig und bietet eine grosse Auswahl an hervorragenden Gerichten. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum verwöhnt fühlt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der italienische Sterne Koch, der am Wochenende im Restaurant zu Gast war. Seine Kreationen waren absolut unglaublich und haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Diamonds Thudufushi noch unvergesslicher gemacht. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und luxuriös eingerichtet und bieten allen erdenklichen Komfort. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer, die zum Entspannen und Träumen einlädt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Diamonds Thudufushi einfach unvergesslich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Besuch im 2016

Meraviglioso, camera rigorosamente beach bungalow per godersi al meglio lo spettacolo del mare, della sabbia e della barriera corallina. Abbiamo soggiornato in una juinior suite molto spaziosa, confortevole e a zero passi dal mare! Servizio alberghiero a 5 stelle con all inclusive completissimo. Ottima la ristorazione sia italiana e internazionale che locale. Lasciatevi incuriosire dai piatti locali, sono stati una piacevolissima scoperta. Personale del resort sempre cordiale, efficiente, molto discreto e mai invasivo. Pulizia delle camere e delle parti comuni sempre ben eseguita. La nostra è stata una vacanza all'insegna del relax totale, solo snorkeling, le escursioni le avevamo fatte in altri viaggi ma chi è alla prima volta le consiglio. Hemos pasado nuestra luna de miel y el sitio es espectacular. Cogimos un todo incluido en water villa. Las habitaciones son cómodas y confortables aunque es cierto que se nota el paso del tiempo y de las personas. Eso lo compensa la vista que tienes desde la habitación. El servicio es súper amable y servicial. Maravilloso el buggie que te recoge y te lleva desde las villas a tierra firme y sus conductores, Rasal y Levan. El restaurante Over Water, y su personal: Maween, Anil, Saafin y subchef Simon, es de 5*. Desde el primer día que comimos allí no fuimos a otro lado. Las raciones tienen la cantidad adecuada para poder hacer una comida de tres platos, a cual más bueno, para quedar satisfecho al final de todo. También disfrutamos del desayuno en la habitación. De todo tiene. Siempre el día de antes eliges lo que deseas desayunar, y está todo rico. El entorno es espectacular y bucear por el arrecife por tu cuenta es una experiencia maravillosa. Nadas entre peces literalmente. Sin duda un lugar para perderse y relajarse. Un auténtico paraíso.

Stayed for 4N (2N beach bunglow and 2N water villa). Our stay was excellent. We had our 10 month baby with us but there were no problems. All of the staff were amazing, catering to any need we had for the baby. Everyone was so courteous. The rooms are excellent, views are mesmerizing, food was so good (veg people may find it a bit difficult). But our holiday was one to remember. The karaoke night was super fun.

We are repeat travellers to the Maldives, having been lucky enough to experience 15 different islands. I chose Thudufushi on the back of having visited its sister island Athuruga some years ago staying in an over water villa and was under the impression that they were virtually identical. I remember the dedicated over water villa restaurant serving the most amazing food every mealtime. Therefore I was mightily disappointed with what was on offer at Thudufushi. Although the food was of good quality, the choice was extremely limited, and after a few days repetitive and frankly boring. We were obliged to visit the buffet (which I have to say is very good quality) for a change of menu. Also, on occasion our chosen drinks were not available, and we ended up going to the main bar. After paying a premium for the privilege of a dedicated restaurant, I felt cheated, and am of the impression that minimal effort and cost cutting is the norm. I did complain and managed to fleetingly pin down the general manager on one occasion who took our room number and offered to meet us to discuss any issues, but never did. The Pros: The water villa decks are spacious and the villas are well spaced out allowing privacy. The house reef is pretty good with some lovely patches of colourful coral. The diving experience was okay, but be aware that the livaboard boats tend to congregate in this area, and so the dive sites can be crowded. Great buffet offerings. Few children. The cons: The beach villas are almost all semi detached and with no vegetation between to offer any privacy. Abysmal menu in the water villa restaurant. Poor wine choices. The only Sauvignon Blanc seemed to be unavailable after our first week. The clientele is mainly Italian (nothing wrong with that but large groups can be quite loud) and the waiters seem to give preferential treatment to them above other guests. There seems to be a daily practice of taking food waste out on a boat under darkness, and dumping it in the ocean. This is definitely NOT a 5 star island, and is, so far, the only island that I can without doubt say that I would never return to.

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo splendido resort per festeggiare i nostri 30 anni di matrimonio. Le camere sono molto comode e con tanti dettagli pratici e molto utili nella quotidianità di una vacanza. Sì mangia molto bene con varietà ed abbondanza. Si potrebbe però migliorare la cottura del pesce al forno cuocendo meno il pesce evitando che si secchi.

Отдыхали в начале декабря 2023 года.В аэропорту Маленикто невстретил .Нашли русскоговорящего и она попыталась нам найти кого то. Немного волновались из за этого. Чемоданы сдали и пошли в очередь на прохождение паспортного контроля.Жутко без кондиционера на улице .как вошли здание стало лучше.Прошли в здание аэропорта. Нам сказали ждать своего рейса. Далее по залу ходил молодой человек , который искал оказывается нас , но говорил почти под нос себе название Тудуфуши.Хорошо я услышала окликнула его и он на английском мне сказал следовать за ним. Но мои подруги пошли (за кофе), кое как ему обьяснила. Он провел нас в некую комнату в которой были люди которые то же ждали , видимо уже нас.И в течение нескольких минут нас всех отправили на улицу к автобусу который всех повез к терминалу водному, для гидросамолету. Подробно пишу так как при незнание языка будет не комфортно понять всю схему. Нас подвели к самолетику, там уже были наши чемоданы,мы все сели и полетели. Добираться от Мале на гидросамолете 45 минут.Раздают беруши , неотказывайтесь,если не будут предлагать то сами просите. Теперь об отеле. Спокойный отель не для детей точно.В основе итальянцы, так как кухня 98 % итальянская.Очень вкусно и красиво. На разных зонах , разные кухни. Поэтому вначале обойдите весь , ресторан , чтобы сориентироваться . Напитки по вашему желанию принесет ваш официант, который будет на протяжении всего вашего отдыха один вас обслуживать. Быстро запомнит ваши предпочтения.Не знаю что выделить , мне практически все нравилось , что я выбирала себе на стол. Ну только могу замечания сделать что стейки у них не очень, все что касается остального ,выше всяких похвал . Везде пишут где нет глютена,отмечают веганскую еду.Мороженое желато на обед и ужин каждый день по 6 сотртов и каждый день разные .Соки и смузи свежевыжатые на завтрак бомба!!Фрукты все тропические разнообразные(манго,маракауйя,гуава,чили,папайа). В барах практически круглосуточно коктейли ,вина и пиво,отличного качества. Для меня делали айриш кофе волшебный.Номера в отеле : нам сделали ап грейд просто так!!Вместо бич фронт виллу на Джуниор бич виллу.Видимо посчитав что нам троим в одном номере будет так комфортнее. Огромное спасибо.Удобные кровати ( дополнительную поставили односпальную кровать полноченную 90*200).Полотенца пляжные при нас меняли старые на новые. В номерах белоснежные и новые. Принадлежности в ванной комнате все есть. В минибаре бесплатно все : пиво,кола,фанта,спрайт,швепс.Пополняется каждый день. В чайно-кофейном уголке ; кофе в капсулах,чай пакетированный три вида, пополняется каждый день.Чайник электрический. Из минусов могу отметить что на третьего в номере нет чашек и ложек. На веранде два стула и две банкетки ,два лежака - все деревянные с матрацами .Стол один большой.До моря 15 шагов. Уборка номеров дважды в день. В отеле тихо и спокойно.Йогу ведет русскоговорящая девушка Лия,врач русскоговорящий в отеле. Все бесплатно. Обращались по необходимости . Были на двух экскурсиях. Сафари на белых акул и мант. Нигде не повезло, никого не увидели . Имейте ввиду на сафари , как на рыбалке как повезет. Свой риф красивый каждый день по два раза иногда плавали. Маски и ласты взяли на весь срок сразу по приезду. Имейте ввиду , если что то не понравится сразу, то можно подойти и поменять . Есть бесплатная снорклинг прогулка по домашнему рифу.Очень советую первый раз сплавать с инструктором,чтобы пото уже самим ориентроваться в домашнем рифе. Персонал практически всег улыбающийся( кроме одного на ресепшен).Запомнился котейль патти на пляжной косе сменеджером отеля и его супругой. Приятные люди ,всегда позитивные и уважительные.Ну а закат который был в тот день , это космос. Я привозила наш шоколад, довезла отлично. Они все любят его , и вместо долларов на чай то же подойдет.И Лии передайте привет из Москвы от трех девушек из Москвы ( помнит нас точно ). В целом советую отель для спокойного комфортного отдыха , для людей позитивных .

Our stay at Diamonds Thudufushi was the best vacation we have ever been on and exceeded all of our (high) expectations. GREAT HOUSE REEF: The house reef was easily accessible and right outside of our beach bungalow. After two minutes of swimming, we were surrounded by colorful parrotfish, anemone fish, reef sharks and many many more. FACILITIES AND ROOMS: Our Junior Beach Bungalow was beautiful, comfortable and always clean. We had spacious closets, a big veranda right on the beach and an amazing open air shower with palm tree tops as the view. We have heard goods things about the water villas, but can also highly recommend staying right on the beach with a beautiful sea view! STAFF: Everyone we met were friendly, happy, and eager to answer all our questions about the island and the marine life. The water sports manager (Raul) taught me how to snorkel on the first day, took us around he house reef and even tried to teach us how to free dive (all free of charge). They also offer many excursions, which we happily participated in, and the guides seemed almost as enthusiastic as us about spotting whale sharks, turtles and manta rays. Another fun experience was when we met a turtle while snorkelling around the house reef, and as the marine biologists had not seen it before, we got to name it in their database. They even sent us a certificate of the new turtle name. FOOD: The resort is all-inclusive and the buffet in the main restaurant has delicious food stations for various types of food: pastas, salads, grilled reef fish, fresh juices and eggs in the morning (and more) are cooked fresh in front of you. In addition, they have a special theme every night with special fresh dishes. Our favorite was the Maldivian night where the tables and buffet were moved outside in the island garden. WAITERS: The service was above and beyond. We had our own waiter who spotted us immediately every time we arrived in the restaurant. He always remembered our coffee and drinks preferences, and empty plates were removed almost as soon as they were put down. CHECK-OUT: The room was ready when we arrived, and the check-out was scheduled 10 minutes before our water plane was scheduled to depart (16.10). This is a hotel policy that we have never experienced at other resorts in the Maldives. This was my first trip to the Maldives and I will definitely be back at the same resort again next year. My mom has been to the Maldives 8 times before (at SixSenes, Veligandu and Olhuveli) but the stay at Diamonds Thudufushi has been her favorite trip of them all. We have visited many, many times and we are never disappointed. Stayed in a water villa which is a very impressively large space. Overwater restaurant food was amazing. And when we asked about the Maldivian breakfast they used to serve it was put straight back on the menu. Great cocktails as well.

Nachdem wir im 2020 unsere Reise nach Thudufushi aus bekannten Gründen nicht antreten konnten, haben wir diese nun nachgeholt. Wir sind das 5. Mal auf den Malediven und erneut wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Sämtliche Mitarbeiter sind stets freundlich, grüssen IMMER und wissen ab dem zweiten Tag, was wir gerne trinken. Sämtliche Wünsche werden umgesetzt - ich habe einen Geburtstagskuchen für meinen Partner zum 60. bestellt; es wurde sogar der Tisch dekoriert und beim Frühstück kam unser Kellner zum Gratulieren. Die GM sind immer „sichtbar“, essen im Restaurant mit den Gästen und haben eine ebenfalls ein warmes Gemüt. AI ist auf Thudufushi auch AI - sogar der Arztbesuch ist kostenlos; welchen wir glücklicherweise nie konsultieren mussten. Das Riff wir bewirtschaftet und die Gäste können beim Korallen-Farming mithelfen. Schnorcheln ist einfach, wenn die Strömung berücksichtigt wird und mit dieser mitschwimmt. Fische hat es nicht in sehr grossen Schwärmen, aber ein Vielfältigkeit am Riff, die wir so noch nie sahen. Haifische, Rochen, Schildkröten und und und. Wir haben eine Schildkröte gefunden, welche noch nicht registriert war und diese trögt nun den Namen Florian - das war ein Erlebnis! Ich weiss nicht, was ich alles noch erwähnen soll: Essen Top, Sauberkeit Top. Einzig vermisst haben wir die Dekorationen auf dem Bett sowie den Bettaufdeck-Service am Abend - dies sind wir von den anderen Inseln gewohnt; aber bitte nicht falsch verstehen: Jammern auf höchstem Niveau 😉 Wir werden sicherlich Repeater - v.a. waren wir vor über 20 Jahren bereits auf Thudufushi; aber die Insel ist nicht mehr zu erkennen. PS: wir hatten ein Beachbungalow.

Returned for our 25th wedding anniversary having had our honeymoon on Thudufushi in 1998. Island has changed a lot. We loved our water villa and completely chilling out for ten nights. Food was excellent, service superb and weather was great for the end of the rainy season. Highly recommend!

Wir haben uns mithilfe eines Reisebüros dazu entschieden unsere Flitterwochen auf den Malediven im Diamonds Thudufushi zu verbringen. Es war unsere erste Maledivenreise somit konnten wir nur erahnen was uns erwartet. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber bei weitem übertroffen. Angefangen vom Empfang durch die sehr nette Hotelmanagerin und einem erfrischenden Begrüßungsgetränk wurden wir in unseren wunderschönen und super sauberen Beachbungalow gebracht. Die Insel ist sehr klein und man hat innerhalb von maximal 1,5 Minuten die Insel durchquert. Einmal rundherum laufen dauert bei langsamen Laufen ca. 10 Minuten. Aber genau das haben wir genossen. Wir wollten keinen großen Trubel, keine Animation und keine Action. Hinter dem Bungalow ist der direkte Zugang zum Strand mit eigenen Sonnenliegen. Das Meer geht flach rein mit ca einem Meter Sand, danach fängt direkt das wunderschöne Hausriff an. Die Vielfalt der Korallen, Fische und sonstigen Rifflebewesen ist der Wahnsinn. Schildkröten, Delfine und Rochen kommen fast täglich vorbei. Die Insel ist unfassbar sauber und gepflegt. Auch hervorzuheben ist das Essen! Mein Mann hat eine Ausbildung zum Koch in einem Sternerestaurant gemacht und war auch absolut begeistert. Man hat die Auswahl zwischen drei Hauptspeisen (1 x Fisch, 1x Fleisch, 1 x vegetarisch), einem Nudelbuffet mit fünf vier verschiedenen Nudelgerichten, Rind oder Hähnchen und Tunfisch/Reeffish vom Grill, einem großen Salatbuffet mit täglich wechselndem Spezielsalat und einem großen Nachtischbuffet. Alle Speisen werden sehr schön auf einem Teller angerichtet und es kann beliebig oft nachgeholt werden. Wir haben es sehr genossen, kein Buffet zu haben, in welchem jeder Gst selbst rumgrabschen kann. Das Personal verdient ebenfalls ein besonderes Lob! JEDER Mitarbeiter war sehr nett, höflich und zuvorkommend. Wie haben es sehr genossen, das fast ein familiäres Verhältnis aufkam. Es wird sich immer persönlich auf einen eingestellt. Besonders möchten wir die Köche Kalana und Supipi und unseren Kellner Ahmed hervorheben! Selten haben wir so herzliche Leute kennen gelernt. Zuletzt möchten wir das Team der Meeresbiologen (einer italienischen Universität ) und Tauchbegleiter loben! Mateo und besonders Alba waren ein großes Highlight! Sie führen jeden Morgen eine Schnorcheltour um die Insel, kommen mit zu den Ausflügen und halten Abends Vorträge über die Meeresbewohner der Malediven. Sie stehen den ganzen Tag für Fragen bereit, wir haben durch sie so viel mehr entdecken können. Alba ist eine so herzliche und aufmerksame Person! Wir haben uns Abends immer gern mit ihr unterhalten und die neusten Entdeckungen beim Schnorcheln besprochen. Ein Team von Meeresbiologen auf der Insel zu habe ist wirklich etwas besonderes! Sharoof und Raul sorgen immer für gute Stimmung, kommen auch mit zu den Ausflügen und können einem als Einheimische nochmal eine ganz andere Sicht auf die Malediven und die Unterwasserwelt geben. Der Urlaub war somit rundum perfekt. Wenn wir etwas aussetzen müssten, würden wir uns wünschen die Insel wäre nur für Erwachsene bzw. die Angebote für Kinder würden zumindest nicht weiter ausgebaut werden) und wir benötigen keine Weihnachtsdeko im tropischen Paradies. Aber wir mussten wirklich lange überlegen um auf diese Punkte zu kommen und ist wirklich nichts negatives! Danke an das komplette Team für diese Erfahrung wir sind wirklich sehr dankbar und kommen wieder!

We stayed in a water villa which was very comfortable and nicely furnished very large deck terrace with steps down into the sea. There is a dedicated restaurant for the water villas which is waiter service. Daily special at lunch and evening, lots of great pasta dishes. The food is varied but it is the same menu so for our 10 days we pretty much knew the food choices inside out, so could become a bit monotonous. Service on the whole in the restaurant was good. We went to the main buffet restaurant some lunch times just for a change again excellent food and good choices. There’s always a great curry! The reef around the island has plenty of fish to see and the hotel is doing a great job of creating new reef structures encouraging new reefs to grow as some areas are quite bare. Bar service was pretty good and on the whole we found the staff were excellent. There is entertainment in the evenings however I cannot comment on this as I did not venture to see it. The resort has a number of daily trips for snorkelling, we chose to do the Whale Shark which I found extremely disappointing as it felt like we were stalking the poor thing along with a large number of other boats and people it was not relaxing and quite stressful we were in the water for 7 mins out of 3 hours, but if you like a boat trip then you might enjoy it. The spa in the resort is very good the two ladies that are doing the treatments are brilliant. We enjoyed our time at Diamonds and would recommend.

Thudufushi einfach das Paradies Ich komme schon seit mehr als 10 Jahren auf diese Insel und sie bekommt immer noch 10 von 10 PUNKTEN! Das Riff hat sich auch wieder erholt und ist wieder richtig gut! Aber das Beste an Thudufushi sind die tollen Mitarbeiter ich habe es selten besser erlebt! Vor allem Elisa von der Rezeption und Raul vom Wassersport besser geht nicht immer hilfsbereit und super freundlich - Danke Aber auch alle anderen waren sehr freundlich, Auch die Managerin aus Südafrika war immer present und sehr nett🙂 Wir waren erst in den Beachbungalows und dann noch 5 Tage in der letzten Villa mit Pool hier fehlt der Sonnen und WINDSchutz aber dieser soll wie bei den normalen Wasservillen noch installiert werden. Alles ist sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Das einzige was ich mir wünschen würde das es wieder Livemusik gibt und mehr Abwechslung am Grill . Ansonsten war das Essen sehr gut da mehrere Live cooking Stationen. Auch das Frühstück hat alles was man sich wünscht, hier ist vor allem der tolle Saft von Kalana der Hammer! Der Koch bei den frischen Eiern könnte Unterstützung brauchen da hier immer viel los ist morgens aber man ist ja im Urlaub,

Il Resort Diamonds è un autentico paradiso terrestre isolato nell'oceano indiano a circa 30 min di idrovolante da Male. L'isola consente di vivere un autentico sogno: mare incontaminato pieno di pesci tropicali, una spiaggia bianchissima ed una ricca vegetazione offrono la possibilità di apprezzare appieno le bellezze della flora e fauna locali. Gli operatori sono sempre disponibili, sorridenti e cordiali. Sono abituati ad avere a che fare con turisti italiani e coccolano gli ospiti in maniera eccezionale. La struttura offre la possibilità di effettuare delle escursioni (a pagamento) per poter vivere delle esperienze uniche nell'oceano. La ristorazione è eccellente, il bar è sempre a disposizione e la sera vengono organizzate sempre delle esperienze a tema tra cui karaoke, disco night, quiz o documentari.

  We stayed at Sudafushi from November 14th to November 27th & this was a wonderful holiday in all respects. Staff were much more happy, smiling & friendly than we have ever experienced, so many brillant staff it would be unfair to mention one individual, and we do travel extensively. The dining was exceptional, the selection of soup, salads, vegetables, curries, starters, main course, plus both reef fish & tuna every day. As for the desserts ,oh my, a delightful selection for the sweet tooth. (Including ice creams & sorbets). Definitely a more 5 star dining experience than most restaurants. Rooms are comfortable ,air conditioned and have a great open air (walled) shower. For the snorkelling fraternity, yes , they do still have live corals and a great team,some of whom are marine biologists working hard to regenerate some of our dying reefs. The marine fish we have seen here are beyond exellent, so many colourful varieties. Also cuttlefish, a few octopus, some turtles. Harmless reef sharks etc. Sadly, tomorrow is our last day . We would Like to thank the lovely Carla , the manageress and the manager, her husband Jaco who have made our holiday so very special. Jacqui & Richard Clark

The best ever. Everything from arrival to departure was 1st class. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the food was fantastic (and I'm a fussy eater) and the accommodation was the best. Problem now is having to wait before I go back. 🙂

Hervorragende Lage der Insel im South Ari Atoll. Eigenes und noch intaktes Hausriff. Sehr gute Ausflugsangebote! Gutes und abwechslungsreiches Essen! Renovierter und gut unterhaltener Beach Boungalow. Transfer von und zurück zum Male Airport hat einwandfrei geklappt!

Viaggio di nozze.. Permanenza stupenda, come essere a casa, grazie in primis ad ELISA che per qualsiasi cosa è sempre al tuo fianco. Posto meraviglioso dove torneremo prestissimo, oltre che per il resort, sopratutto per lo staff! Andarsene con un po’ di magone e lasciare un pezzetto di cuore non si fa per chiunque o qualunque cosa. Pariepatta 🦈🤎

Wonderful and relaxing holiday. This is the fourth time in the Maldives, but they are always a continuous discovery. We stayed in the overwater villa, where it was a pleasure to wake up with the sea in front of our eyes. We returned to Italy with our hearts full of new experiences and beautiful friendships. Alba, the biologist on staff, is someone I want to thank for teaching us all about coral life and participating in the coral adoption project together.

Quarta volta alle Maldive, la prima a Thudufushi ma…di sicuro non l’ultima! Atollo meraviglioso dal punto di vista naturalistico (vabbè questo alle Maldive te lo aspetti un po’ ovunque o quasi ovviamente)… La differenza vera qui la fanno le persone, lo staff, l’accoglienza e l’atmosfera che si respira… È iniziata come vacanza di coppia e si è trasformata in una vacanza tra amici che sembravano di vecchia data, con cui trascorrere giornate spensierate ed indimenticabili in questo angolo di paradiso… Un ringraziamento speciale ai ragazzi dello staff che hanno reso possibile tutto questo: In primis…ALBA, biologa e responsabile del Marine Lab sull’isola. Persona instancabile che ci ha rapito tutti con entusiasmo e simpatia. Sempre presente…dalla mattina alla sera…dalla lezione di biologia alla cantata squarciagola di karaoke…😄 La sua professionalità ma nello stesso tempo la sua semplicità hanno trasmesso a tutti l’amore per il mare e per la salvaguardia di quel meraviglioso ecosistema marino… Aderire al progetto di ripopolamento del Reef adottando per la vita dei piccoli frag di corallo…è stata un’esperienza unica!❤️ A seguire…DIMITRI (attivissimo e sempre disponibile, sorriso stampato in viso, vero e proprio motore per lo staff), ELISA (gentilissima, sempre pronta a soddisfare ogni esigenza, accoglienza perfetta, massima cura dei particolari), SAY (simpaticissimo maitre di sala per il ristorante dedicato alle Water Villa), KALANA (per chiudere in bellezza ogni pasto nel suo corner dedicato a dolci sfiziosi e frutta freschissima) E poi FRANCESCO in reception, RAUL al Water Sport e tutti tutti gli altri…nessuno escluso…davvero! Per chiudere: La pulizia è impeccabile ovunque La ristorazione è di ottimo livello Il Reef è stupendo, circonda l’intera isola, è facilmente accessibile ed è ricchissimo di biodiversità sia per pesci che per coralli! Esperienza bellissima soprattutto per la bellezza del mare e della simpatia di Alba e Dimitri che ci hanno guidato alla ricerca di mante, delfini e ogni sorta di pesci e coralli. Per la seconda volta alle Maldive in ottima compagnia, anche Thudufushi non ha deluso le attese. Personale cordiale, sempre sorridente e pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta! Particolare citazione per la bravura e la simpatia di Alba la Biologa , Francesco il receptionist, Lisa, Dima, Raul, Say ed il suo staff del ristorante OW, Kalana ed il driver delle Overwater … Bravi!!!! Da migliorare solo la varietà del menù del ristorante Overwater , disponibilità e gadget della botique, per il resto tutto Top!! Speriamo di rivederci!!!

Wonderful place. Everything was perfect, starting from the first steps with the reservation until the departure. The management and the staff have been incredibly helpful and nice. Both the beach and the water villas are amazing places to stay. The food was delicious and various. We will come back soon.

Für mich wird dieser Urlaub unvergesslich bleiben.  Ob Sonne oder Regen, einfach immer wunderschön!  Ein Urlaub der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Für mich stimmt hier einfach das gesamte Paket.  Unterkunft, Strand, Meer, Riff, Service, Essen und die Ruhe. Das schöne große Zimmer mit 2 großen Schränken, genügend Kleiderbügel, einem großen Spiegel und das tolle Bad.  Die überdachte Veranda auf der man auch bei Regen draußen sitzen kann.  Palmen/Grün direkt an der Villa, daher hat man die Wahl zwischen natürlichem Schatten und Sonne.  Ein super schöner Strand mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Baden/schwimmen.  Das Hausriff hat mich mit seinen vielen Fischarten und vom Konstrukt her  begeistert.  Ein rundum super Service an allen Stationen. Hier ein großes Dankeschön an die Rezeption, die KÜCHE, die Bar und den SERVICE.   Mache können Gedanken lesen und erfüllen unausgespochene Wünsche.  Das Essen war immer ausgezeichnet! Die Qualität des Thunfischs in allen variationen war erstklassig. Die Menüs werden immer frisch angerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. So macht essen gleich doppelt Spaß.  Danke auch an die Crew vom Boot! Sie  waren so engagiert und haben so toll gelotst, das ich die Mantas auch unter Wasser sehen konnte.  Die Crew der Tauchbasis hat es mit ihrer offen und vertrauenswürdigenden, lieben Art geschafft, mich zum Tauchen zu bringen.  Für das erste mal Unterwasser hätte ich niemand andern an meiner Seite haben wollen!  Abschließend noch ein herzliches Danke an Carla und den Doc für die Unterstützung. Mit so einem tollen Backup im Rücken is auch eine Verletzung im Urlaub kein Problem.

Making a decision on which resort to stay at for our Maldives holiday was so tough, every website seemed to portray the most beautiful pictures. Eventually we decided on Thudufushi and our entire experience was picture perfect! From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, every expectation was exceeded. - Staff: Elisa welcomed us so warmly and was super informative and patient with all our questions and oohs and aahs! Rashid met us in his golf cart with his dazzling smile to drive us to our water villa. Every day thereafter, whenever he saw us walking to or from our villa he raced our way to offer us a lift - regardless of how often we declined, preferring to walk most days. A welcoming note, to inform us that Saeed would service our room twice a day, was a lovely touch. Saeed was so dedicated, we never wanted for anything and our room was kept spotless. He even placed a Happy Birthday message made out of palm leaves on our bed for my special day. Mauween was our designated waiter in the over water restaurant. We was a delight every meal time, always meeting us with a smile, a witty story - making sure I always had my lemons on the table. We especially loved being introduced to Sabrina and ChuChu, who joined us on occasion at mealtimes. Carla and Jaco have the best job and their love for what they do shines though. Readily available whether for a simple catch up or for information and advice. Nothing is too much trouble and their attention to details is incredible. Carla had fat free milk flown in especially for me and arranged an incredibly special dinner for my birthday. Anisha leads two beautiful yoga sessions a day and helps in the surf centre and with guest activities. She has a lovely sense of humour and is brilliant at enticing participation. Dima, besides being easy on the eyes, is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. - Food: Peter's cuisine at the Over Water restaurant is a daily delight. Every dish was meticulously thought out, prepared with the freshest ingredients and looked like an art piece. We struggled to differentiate between the meals we ate daily and the Michelin star dishes served at the special 4 course dinner prepared by a visiting star chef. The menu is limited but we voluntarily ate the same dishes day after day because they were so good! We didn't need any more diversity. Even so, there is a good variety to choose from and Peter has a daily special to delight the taste buds. The buffet restaurant provides a 5 star version of buffet dining. It is not your normal 'grab and go' service. The food it top quality and there is always a hot food section where dishes are made fresh, while you wait - depending on the theme for the day. The grilled reef fish is delectable! The Maldivian evening is a must do! Dining outside under the palms in the moonlight is intoxicating and the local cuisine is delicious. We loved the ability to preorder breakfast which is delivered and set up on the deck of the villa at your preferred time. Cocktails are plentiful and available from both - Facilities: The resort is spotless and very well maintained, with a 'live in' maintenance team on call to fix or tend to anything immediately. Water sport equipment is limited but all in good condition and readily available. Snorkeling equipment is good quality and there is enough stock to make sure we got the perfect fit. Wifi signal is strong in the villa but is patchy in the restaurants and beach bars. There could be a few more beach loungers for the Water Villas guests. We had to get there early to secure a spot. Our bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Pillows and linen are kept fluffy and so white! I want to know their secret! We seemed to end up in Bianca's shop almost every day. She has the most exquisite stock and was only too happy to help us find exactly what we were looking for. And when the hat I bought unraveled, it was no issue to exchange it. All the shopping is put on your room bill and it settled the evening before your departure. There is a small gym and TV room where we could watch the live international sport. There is a small selection of books to choose from in a variety of different languages. - Activities and Entertainment There is never a dull moment at Thudufushi but guests are free to choose as and when they participate. The daily excursions offer an intriguing distraction to lazy island life. I would have loved to do them all but timing and budget did not allow. We did the Ari Atoll snorkeling and sand bar excursion. The long boat ride was worth it, considering what we saw both on top and under the water. - Environment and Weather October is the end of the rainy season and is a great time to catch the off season deals. We had a few rainy days but eh rain doesn't hand around and it is still lovely and warm. If anything the rain gives you an excuse for an afternoon nap. The snorkeling around the island does not disappoint. We saw sharks, turtles, dolphins and manta rays all either from our deck or on the islands reef. Thudufushi is a place where our holiday dreams came true, every aspect made us gasp is awe and we left refreshed, delighted and already looking forward to our return.

Siamo stati al diamond tramite alpitour, servizio fantastico e personale disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo alloggiato in una junior suite sul lato del tramonto (la zona più bella) sabbia corallina finissima e oceano a letteralmente 5 passi dalla stanza. Anche la barriera corallina su questo lato offre una moltitudine di pesci (squali pinna nera baby, pesci pagliaccio, balestra, angelo, chirurgo, pappagallo, istrice ecc) e la spiaggia é una favola come farina. abbiamo visto anche una tartaruga marina che mangiava il corallo l'ultimo giorno nella zona proprio di fronte a dove alloggiavamo noi. Sull'isola sono inoltre presenti volpi volanti, granchi, paguri, gechi e iguane testa gialla (più piccoline delle cugine verdi americane). Il cibo é favoloso, l'influenza della cucina italiana si sente ed è tutto ottimo. Il resort offre varie cene tematiche come la maldiviana, indiana, bbq, italiana. L'animazione rispetto ai classici villaggi turistici é praticamente inesistente, nessuno viene a romperti le balle per fare qualche gioco/sport e non ci sono spettacoli o teatrini serali (ideale quindi se vuoi rilassarti senza essere stressato da nessuno), vengono comunque organizzate dei post cena alternativi ma nulla di che (karaoke, quiz, disco) Le stanze comunque sono belle spaziose, peccano un po nei dettagli per essere un 5 stelle :alcuni mobili in legno rovinati e vecchi, stile casa della nonna, e alcuni angoli poco puliti, non é presente la TV in camera e il wifi é molto debole (1mbps) compensano però con la veranda esterna dove si passa quasi tutta la giornata a leggere un buon libro o a rilassarsi dal mare. Le escursioni a pagamento sono variegate, circa 3 al giorno tutti i giorni, le più rinomate sono manta safari e squalo balena. Che si ripetono circa 2 volte a settimana per permetterti di farle. Nel complesso abbiamo passato una settimana stupenda all'insegna del relax, in mezzo alla natura e agli animali, disintossicandoci un po dalla tecnologia e dal tram tram della città e del lavoro.

We visited Maldives diamonds Thudufushi in October 2023 , we stayed for 5 days there everything was perfect starting from arrival to the island till the last minute. The stuff were super nice, kind and helpful. We stayed at the beach front villa and it was amazing easy and direct access to the beach with super clean sand . They provided for us snorkeling equipments , and there is always list of activities for each day. The food was very delicious specially the seafood. There is so many perfect spots for photos shooting.

It was the best holiday we have had in a while. The island is so warm and welcoming. The whole team, is there to greet you with a smile and a friendly attitude, ready to take care of any needs you may have. The rooms are spacious and bright, and when you get into bed you drown in the extremely comfortable mattress and luscious sheets. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that cater for all taste buds, even the tougher one of the kids. On the island there is also a marine biologist who can take you step by step through the process of repopulating the coral reef! It is incredible to understand the process, the time and the care put into it. There are shops, billiard table, canoes, catamarans, table games….. absolutely everything. We loved every minute and hope to go back soon.

Einfach nur wunderbar Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit dort. Die Insel ist ein Traum. Das ganze Personal, angefangen vom Management, Die überaus liebenswürdige Italienerin vom Island Shop, den herzlichen jungen Menschen von der Tauchstation. Das Personal von den Bars und im Restaurant waren so liebenswürdig. das Essen ein Traum. Getränke. Kaffee und Cocktails immer perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Danke dafür

Потрясающий отель, мы не нашли ни одного минуса. Летали вдвоем, для деток тут развлечений нет кроме природы. Настоящий белый мальдивский песок, как мука. Очень вкусная еда, повара готовят и сервируют красиво блюда. Все напитки входят в олл инклюзив. Поскольку отель итальянский, то особый акцент на настоящий вкусный апероль, пиццу, пасту. Паста невероятная! Я так полюбила самую простую пасту с чесноком и перцем. Рекомендую попробовать. Здесь нет лосося и хамона, это уже люкс потяжелее. Тунец, баранина, рыба разная, бургеры, говядина. Персонал супер заботливые, пожалуйста, оставляйте им чаевые. 10-20 долларов. Им приятно! Русских не слишком много. Интересный живой риф вокруг всего острова. Нет плохих и хороших мест для проживания, все виллы с классным заходом кроме трех. Те, что граничат с рестораном. Но их плюс в том, что они максимально приватные, туда не доходят люди. При том что отель полный, гостей визуально не много, никто никому не мешает. Уборка дважды в день, мини бар. Пиво и вино вроде бы не входит для бич вилл, но нам приносили. Надо уточнять. Очень крутая экскурсия к мантам! Это одно из лучших воспоминаний. Благодарим и вспоминаем с теплотой этот уютный, вкусный, невкроятно красивый отель. Экскурсии примерно по 85 долл/чел.+26% налоги. Бесплатно сапы и каяки. Еще прикольная тема с выращиванием караллов. Можно купить свою рамку, посадить кораллы и следить за их эволюцией. Отель не супер свежий, но не выглядит старым. Ребята постоянно что-то моют и убирают. Спасибо вам за отпуск! ❤️

Abbiamo trascorso in questo meraviglioso posto la fine della nostra luna di miele. Che dire..l’isola è bellissima, ricca di una vegetazione varia e con la barriera corallina che la circonda a 360 gradi. Ciò implica che qualsiasi nuotata, anche davanti la vostra stanza, vi consentirà di ammirare una varietà stupenda di pesci tropicali coloratissimi (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di beccare anche una tartaruga). Aldilà della bellezza oggettiva del posto, abbiamo trovato un ambiente accogliente, caloroso, familiare. Nonostante l’eleganza e l’accuratezza di ogni singolo dettaglio, ciò che prevale è un ambiente informale e molto molto affettuoso. Lo staff è tutto indistintamente eccezionale: dall’accoglienza, alla cura delle camere (che venivano rifatte ben due volte al giorno) ai camerieri/cuochi del ristorante. Tutti educati, sorridenti, gentili. Hanno memorizzato ogni nostro gustò immediatamente facendoci sentire coccolati. La boutique un gioiellino che abbiamo saputo apprezzare anche grazie alla guida di Bianca. Infine, i ragazzi del water sport sono l’anima dell’isola. Professionali, simpatici, gentili e sempre pronti a scambiare due chiacchiere con noi e rispondere alle nostre curiosità. Se siamo stati così bene è anche grazie a voi. Roberta e Anisha due vere risorse per questo angolo di paradiso. Grazie a tutti e a presto

Siamo stati al Diamonds Thudufushi per il nostro viaggio di nozze. Ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo: l’isola è davvero splendida e offre tutti i servizi necessari! Staff e personale gentilissimo, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni tipo di richiesta. Cucina buonissima, abbiamo mangiato sempre divinamente e tutti i camerieri e barman sono gentilissimi! Noi abbiamo alloggiato nelle Beach Villas e non c’era sensazione più bella di svegliarsi, uscire e poter mettere i piedi subito sulla sabbia, un sogno! E con un mare davanti a noi a dir poco meraviglioso. La camera è davvero molto bella e spaziosa dotata di tutto il necessario e le pulizie vengono effettuate due volte al giorno, sia dentro che fuori nel terrazzino, in maniera eccelsa. È stato tutto incantevole e magnifico, il senso di libertà che si prova stando lì non lo scorderò mai!!!

I stayed in Diamond Thudufushi for 2 weeks. I came here after a difficult period in my life looking for more connection with the nature. I can say that I found the perfect place. The island is very small -700 m to walk around the ocean is blue emerald and it’s few meters near the bungalow. And the services are amazing friendly from all the staff. The food deserve a special mention as everything is fresh and tasteful. Moreover they bring every day something new. I like their style of all inclusive as is not a classic buffet but more like live cooking style for 3 dishes plus barbecue plus pasta station and delicious pizza. The fruits and desert are Amazing and the home made ice cream is delicious. As well you can find always some Indian dishes. The resort have one of the best house reef so snorkeling is amazing. If you want more they have a big range of excursions and diving center. I like beach villas and I stayed in beach mr 15. If you want larger beach stay 25 to 40. Special thanks to all the team especially to Carla Jaco Shaif Anisha and Roberta.

If I could give 10 stars then Diamonds Thudufushi would receive it. I’ve stayed at many different hotels around the world incl. other resorts in the Maldives, but I’ve never experienced something like the week we had here. Carla who’s the first person we “met” when we booked the trip is the most customer focused you’ll meet, she’s literally doing everything possible to make your booking experience perfect, but it didn’t stop here. During our stay she’s been available whenever needed and doing perfect service, she even arranged we got special treatment at the open water restaurant where we met the next person I’ll like to highlight!! Peter is the chef at the open water restaurant and he’s nothing less than Michelin worthy (he’ll work in a starred restaurant in the next couple of years). We had the pleasure to get to talk to him every day where he came to our table and additional he prepared daily a special dish for us, which day by day were outstanding. I could go on with our appraisal of the staff as everyone working at Diamonds Thudufushi is exceptionally so I can’t give a better recommendation. Hurry up and get your stay booked here. Ps. The snorkeling here is as well the best ever seen - we daily saw turtles, sharks etc. and the house is full of alive corals due to Inga and her is excellent reef biologists ❤️

Siamo tornati da alcuni giorni e ci manca tutto tantissimo. Un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff per i bei giorni che ci hanno permesso di trascorrere al Diamonds Thudufushi. Il resort è molto bello e ben curato, così come l’isola. La camera che avevamo noi era sulla spiaggia, molto spaziosa, dotata di patio e con il tipico bagno maldiviano all’aperto. Tutto sempre in ordine, grazie al servizio di pulizie due volte al giorno. Forse qualche piccolo rinnovamento sarebbe necessario data la normale usura in un ambiente marino umido. Il cibo è freschissimo, un apprezzamento speciale va alla griglia e al buffet dei dolci..ma era davvero tutto molto buono e abbondante. Non abbiamo provato le escursioni, ma ci sono proposte diverse ogni giorno. Anche l’animazione serale è ben gestita con attività più ‘mondane’, come la musica, e anche d’informazione. Il resort infatti collabora con l’Università Milano-Bicocca per migliorare la sensibilizzazione e la conoscenza dell’ecosistema marino. Sia le attività del giorno, sia l’animazione serale sono comunque per nulla invadenti e in linea con l’approccio molto soft e di completo relax del resort. I nostri complimenti vanno anche all’IDive Diving Center, e soprattutto a Davide, che ci ha assistito e incoraggiato nel riprendere le immersioni dopo oltre 10 anni di assenza. Un diving molto professionale e con attrezzature ben curate. Nel caso non si facciano immersioni è comunque possibile esplorare tutte le bellezze marine, grazie alla maschera e alle pinne che il resort mette a disposizione gratuitamente per tutti gli ospiti. Un’ultima nota per la SPA.. richiede pagamento solo in contanti e può essere difficile farlo quando si è su un’isola in mezzo all’oceano, si rischia quindi di rimanere delusi quando si deve rinunciare, considerando anche l’offerta molto completa di trattamenti. Per favore organizzate i pagamenti con carta di credito per la prossima volta che torneremo lì…perché noi sicuramente vogliamo tornare! E ovviamente raccomandiamo a tutti una vacanza al Diamonds Thudufushi.

We were staying at diamonds thu for a week and every day and every evening the staff was like omg.(10 stars for Sfafiu, Anil and Maereen) those three more than perfección ;) we will miss u all. Thank u for making our trip so special;) loved it from the beginning till the lasts moments ;)) hopefully we will come back back soon

We visited Diamonds Thudufushi July/August 2023 as a couple to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Starting at Male Airport we were met by a member of the hotel staff who took us to the sea plane desk and helped us check in and showed us the bus to the sea plane terminal. Delays to the sea plane due to weather so we were offered complimentary food and drink whilst waiting. On arrival at Thudufushi we were given a welcome cocktail and asked if we wanted food as it was nearing the end of lunch service, as we wanted lunch they told us to leave our baggage etc and they took us to the restaurant to eat so we could check in properly afterwards to ensure we didn't miss the food. Special thanks to Saheed for looking after us for our 2 week stay and the daily designs on the bedding. We stayed in one of the water bungalows - wow. The bungalow was clean and fresh and had a well stocked mini fridge along with tea and coffee etc that was replenished daily. Also included a beach bag and towels. We ate in both the over water restaurant and the main beach restaurant. Although the menu in the over water restaurant didn't change in the two weeks we were there (different menu for lunch and dinner) there was enough choices that we didn't get tired of the amazing food. There was a huge variety at the beach restaurant as well as the snacks at the bar. Staff at both restaurants were excellent and would help you as much as you needed. Handy to have a place where you can borrow snorkelling equipment without charge - we took our own masks etc but used their flippers to save space. The staff here were excellent and very friendly and helpful and you would book excursions through them also (we did the whale shark check - saw 5 sharks!, fishing and visit to local island). Lucky enough to see a very large Manta in the lagoon near the water bungalows. Decking around the resort gets really hot, although there are water baths to dunk your feet in to keep them cool/remove the sand would suggest sandals which you can leave at then end of the decking. Or a lift from the wonderful Levon in his buggy to save you the walk (fantastic man!). Plenty of coral and fish to see especially near the drop off however currents can be quite strong in places. Beware the stripy biting fish located near the steps to water bungalow 3. Bit me 3 times in the same spot on my leg and drew blood. All in all we had a wonderful stay and want to go back, having been to 2 different islands in the Maldives previously this was definitely the best. Would really recommend to anyone. The only downside I would say were the pillows - we found them not at all comfortable as were too soft and had no substance to them. All of the staff were amazing and friendly but a big thanks to Levon, Saheed and the staff at the over water restaurant for taking care of us so thoroughly. Hopefully we will be back.

Isola molto bella. Spiaggia grande, reef ricco di pesci e coralli, ottima organizzazione. Personale cordiale, sorridente e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Splendida la serata di ferragosto in spiaggia. Buffet sempre molto ricco e interessante. All inclusive di buon livello. Bungalow grandi e comodi. Lettini in spiaggia di medio livello considerato le 5 stelle della struttura. Unica grave pecca la Spa. Mi hanno annullato un appuntamento preso da giorni senza alcun preavviso. Quando mi sono presentata all’ora fissata mi sono sentita rispondere che c’erano altri clienti e di tornare dopo un ora e mezza ovvero ad ora di cena. Una barzelletta! Ho viaggiato tanto sia alle Maldive che in giro per il mondo e una cosa del genere non mi era mai capitata. Imperdonabile. Peccato!!!!

Es war alles außergewöhnlich gut ! Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch nach der persönlichen Wahl zubereitet. Die Weine waren frisch und lecker. Das Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Aufteilung sehr praktisch. An dem Disco-Abend, immer freitags haben wir viel getanzt und Spaß gehabt. Die Cocktails waren sehr gut. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut und wir haben keine Kritikpunkte gehabt.

Прекрасный отель. Долго выбирал его чтобы провести 7 ночей с любимой супругой. По всем критериям выбора, отель себя оправдал: не большой, но и не маленький размер острова, хороший риф, удаление от Мале (надо лететь на гидросамолете 30-40 минут в зависимости от промежуточных остановок), хорошее питание по системе AI, алкоголь, приемлемая цена. В отель в основном приезжают итальянцы, русские тоже есть, около 30%, чуть меньше европейцев и южноафриканцев. Отель очень понравился, с погодой также повезло - всего один день все время было пасмурно, в остальном дождь был только ночью на 1-3 часа. Все детали описаны в + и - отеля. Но в минусах совсем мелочи, потому что на 7 ночей не будет скучно, если вы любите природу. Детям будет скучно, потому что для них очень мало развлечений. Какие рекомендации могут дать менеджеру отеля: Добавить зубную пасту в номера; в номерах и ресторанах закупить вино лучшего качества; добавить рыбное карпаччо в Аква ресторан; обновить sup-доски и добавить инструкторов по водным видам спорта, потому что Дмитрий один и часто был недоступен; снизить цены на СПА и экскурсии процентов на 30%, чтобы увеличить спрос; улучшить вечернюю развлекательную программу; повысить жесткость воды, это позволит экономить ресурсы и при этом быстрее смывать шампунь и мыло с тела; поставить качественный бильярдный стол в новом месте, потому что сейчас рядом с ним очень тесно и кий постоянно куда-то упирается; добавить литературу на русском языке; рассказывайте туристам, что на Мальдивах ночью на пляже можно увидеть святящийся планктон, это очень романтично, но мы об этом узнали случайно.

Very good hotel, mostly geared to the European market, which makes it all the more special. It is not too big, food is more than wonderfull. They call it buffet, but actually there are all life cooking stations. Wonderfull bbq. Delicious desert. Diving was punctual and very good arranged. Good gear. Around the island a lot of young blacktip sharks, which is a very good sign. Nice housereef and snorkeling. There is also an onsite marine biologist. Staff is very friendly and forthcoming. It was my sons 18th birthday and they all made it very special for him. Thank you for a wonderfull stay.

Staff: - absolutely great (every single employee) - if you have an inquiry of any type, just start talking to the first person you run into - very attentive, they treat your request with high priority all the time, not neglecting anything - special bonus: marine biologists - amazing talks about the research, marine life; so edifying and inspiring - overall it's a pleasure and very kind experience to ask/talk to the staff Accommodation (water villa 8): - roomy - high level of comfort (extra large king bed & a VERY comfy mattress) - walk-in closet - Apple iMac - strong wi-fi - signs of slight wear, might need a bit of renovation here and there... - cleanliness is very good (room keeping twice a day) - hair shampoo and shower gel is included - privacy in water villas is + Food: - over water restaurant (a la carte) with a nice separate menu for breakfast/lunch/dinner (all 3 stayed the same during our whole stay) + daily special (different each day) - no worries, they will cook almost anything upon your request - the chefs are great, true fine dinning experience - after lunch we were lacking desserts a bit (only ice cream is available after lunch), but you can always pay a visit to main restaurant located on the island with a wide selection of desserts available all the time - drinks in bars are amazing, soft/alcoholic/hot/cold (~40 drinks on the menu), they can basically do anything you think of including freshly squeezed fruits juices/smoothies, etc. - lack of plant-based milks was slightly disappointing, but this can be fixed easily in the future ;-) - main restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant with great selection of starters/salads/soup, different kinds of curry, pizza, grilled fish, deserts, 3 fresh made main courses and 3 fresh made pasta - service is great in both restaurants, waiters never forget anything - Maldivian dinner was great (every Thursday), takes place under palm trees on the island, amazing atmosphere Activities: - the island has a great house reef with plenty of live coral (the biologist team also cultivate corals near the island) - regarding snorkeling, the daily house reef snorkeling with the group is the best choice (so much to see including turtles, small sharks), the guide always chooses the best place according to actual conditions - individual snorkeling is amazing both from water villas or from the shore (ask about snorkeling areas/channels in Water sports center), the current and tide is changing throughout the day, so it's good to ask in the Water sports center every time - plenty of excursions available (a bit on the pricier side for us) - we paid for the snorkeling with the Whale Shark (an absolute must-see experience) - in the evenings there are some activities organized by marine biologists (quiz, presentations) and also others like disco or just listening to relaxing music - in marine lab you can experience the marine life via virtual reality and talk to biologists (very nice) - in the middle of the island (or in the bars) you can also spend time playing snooker, table football, table tennis, scrabble, card games, chess, etc. - there is a small fitness room (available 24 hours a day) - diving center (no experience) - spa (no experience) There is a clothes store and pharmacy available on the island. This island and the resort definitely exceeded our expectations. It was an absolute joy to spend every single minute here. Excellent food in both restaurants. The grilled fish in the main restaurant was exceptional. The a la carte presentation was first class and the flavours fantastic. Lots of fresh and ceviche fish and beef carpaccio was consumed by us both and the settings for eating were magical, making the most of the beautiful ocean. The water bungalows are very spacious and private, lots of outdoor space leading to wonderful snorkelling, literally on your doorstep. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Thank you to all the staff who helped transfer us off the island when our tour company got it wrong. We loved our speedboat trip to W. As you may have heard, we got caught in the storm and our departure was delayed by 24 hours, but your wonderful team worked with the seaplane company to provide us with information for our insurance company and we received your email before departure the following day. Thank you also to Nizan who was so helpful and caring, looking forward to the dominoes rematch next April. See you all next year x

Le Maldive sono davvero un paradiso terrestre. Diamond Thudufushi ci ha lasciato senza parole in termini di accoglienza, gentilezza e competenza dello staff e cucina (superlativa). L'isola è bellissima e l'esperienza della watervilla è stata romantica e piacevole.
