Restaurants

Dine Around the Island. The resort has a “dine around” concept, whereby guests on Half Board, Full Board, and All Inclusive packages can choose to eat lunch and dinner in any of the à la carte restaurants and in the main restaurant. This gives guests a wide variety of dining options, and the chance to sample the resort’s gastronomic offerings.

The Sand. It’s the Main restaurant on the island. Open for breakfast and dinner, serving freshly cooked dishes prepared at several bespoke live cooking stations catering to international cuisine, where the guest chooses between a variety of delicious food options, served to the table by our personal waiters. The restaurant houses a wine cellar with varieties of wineries and champagne.

Green carpet. The location is near the pool and it serves Lunch only. Try Green Carpet for healthy and mouthwatering lunches.

Rising Sun. The unique experience of Teppanyaki is waiting to bring guests into Asian flavor, the option of juicy mouthwatering meat and fish.

La pasta. A ‘restaurant around the beach shores’, Italians do it better…la pasta is a communal beachside restaurant, serving Italian’s finest cuisines with Italian special pasta and pizzerias for lunch and dinner.

H2O. One of 6 underwater restaurants in the Maldives. It’s a fully submerged, underwater restaurant that gives diners a 360-degree view of the Maldives’ breathtaking marine environment. Unforgettable experience!

Cheers Bar. Near the main pool area, is the Cheers Bar, replete with sofas and chairs. Serving freshly made cocktails and wide varieties of wine, champagne, and live music performances and entertainments every night.

Transfer

Seaplane

You and Me Maldives is located approximately 45 minutes by seaplane ride from Velana International Airport.
The seaplane transfer provider imposes a luggage restriction of 20 kg of checked luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage, additional weight will be charged US$5.00 per kg.
Please note that neither the resort nor the transfer provider shall be held liable for any claims arising from missed international flights, due to delay of seaplane transfer caused by adverse weather conditions, force majeure, and acts of God.
Seaplanes operate during daylight hours only. Guests arriving in Malé on an international flight, landing after 15:30hrs, will need to find their own overnight accommodation in Malé at their own expense. They will be transferred to the resort the following day.
Departure transfers from the resort to Velana International Airport are scheduled between 06:00hrs and 16:00hrs, connecting to all international flights leaving from 09:00hrs onwards. Guests departing Malé on an international flight earlier than 09:00hrs will need to leave the resort 1 day before the date of departure to reach the airport on time.
Please note that the seaplane rate is subject to change with changes in Fuel surcharge by Trans Maldivian Airways

Domestic flight

The domestic transfer will be available for the flights landing between 15:30hrs and the following day at 06.00hrs.
You and Me Maldives is located approximately 30 minutes by Domestic Flight + 20 minutes by Speedboat (from Velana International Airport to Ifuru Airport).

A holiday of a lifetime!

An incredible island with 5 star facilities. We stayed for 1 week in the manta villa. These are much bigger than the photos suggest and the views are incredible. Rooms are cleaned twice daily, fresh towels and dressing gowns twice daily too if required. The housekeeping team are amazing and if you’re celebrating anything special, they will decorate your bed with a message. He must have spent ages on mine - a real artist! The food at this island is impressive too. A la carte dining really adds luxury to this resort and being on the all inclusive package means you really can order anything from the menu. Of course the Island is beautiful! But the thing that makes this resort incredible is the service you receive from all staff, particularly the island host. I went for my birthday and it was made so special - Lahey went above and beyond to really make the stay incredible, always on hand either in person or by WhatsApp for everything. He organised all our dinner bookings and excursions and made sure we were having a good stay at all times. I had even hurt my foot whilst being on the island (nothing serious, just hit my foot on a door) and I didn’t even have to mention it, the team noticed and picked me up by buggy and dropped me to the island’s clinic so the on-site doctor could check me over and prescribed medicine free of charge to reduce the swelling! He then picked me up and dropped me off everywhere so I didn’t have to walk! Despite Lahey having multiple guests, you would never know, he makes you feel like he is there just for you. He is instantly contactable when you need him and from the moment you arrive by seaplane, until the moment you leave, he is there to arrange and handle everything. You just need to show-up and enjoy! I also want to point out that the resort organise someone to meet you at the airport at Male and the same for the way back, so you are never left looking around wondering where you need to go. If you have to wait for a seaplane, you really don’t mind because the lounge is lovely! Each resort has its own lounge and the Cocoon You and Me lounge is so big with drinks, sandwiches and pastries available for you to enjoy in a a lovely posh Aircon room. It really is 5 star service at You and Me. I would happily go back to this resort as there is literally not a single thing I could fault them on! Enjoyed every minute of it, even the travelling, because they really take care of you. Couple of tips for UK travellers - plugs are the same so no need to take adaptors and we took USD. Can’t wait to go back!

Paradise Island

We had a wonderful stay for our 25th wedding anniversary in late March / early April. The location is stunning, white beaches, turquoise sea, and the aqua villas with slides were perfect, with a bathtub and shower overlooking the sea. They are on the opposite side of the island to the restaurants, so are a bit more secluded which is what we wanted not being late night people. The snorkelling is fantastic and the best location is probably the reef off the beach where the restaurants are. The food at all the restaurants is excellent. We did the Rising Sun (teppanyaki) twice, which is worth it for the show, and La Pasta twice, but the food at the main Sand restaurant is so good, we would have been just as happy eating there. We did do H2O for lunch after deliberating about the cost and it was a great experience. We saw the lemon shark and the food was very good. It is expensive but was a unique experience which we don’t regret. Other reviews have touched on the small annoyances of “fully inclusive” not including alcoholic drinks in the room or cocktails and mixers at the restaurants (although you can get them from the bar a few meters away), so I won’t dwell on that. It was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise outstanding offering. Most importantly, the staff were all wonderful - so friendly and helpful. Throughout the resort, at the restaurants and bar, spa, activities and housekeeping, they couldn’t do enough to help and to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Of course, I have to mention our island host, Lahey, who was exceptional. He got us settled in, arranged all our restaurant and activity bookings for us and was always on hand to help out or handle any questions we had. He even helped us to track down my wife’s sunglasses when they went missing. He really helped to make our stay extra special. Overall, one of the best holidays we have had and if you are thinking about booking here we highly recommend it. We would love to return.

Honeymoon

We had a wonderful honeymoon at the You & Me Maledives. The over water rooms are amazing, the food delicious. We can complain about nothing. The only thing what’s a bit complicated is the All inclusive. There are many „extra charges“ . After 10:00 there is no possibility to eat until lunch, without being charged, for example. The cocktails are not everywhere included. Last lunch is extra charged. Transparent Kajak is extra charged, others are free. For us it was fine, because we did not need the extra things. When you arrive you have your own island host who is taking care of your reservations and made also already some reservations for you. The resort time is +1h to Male so you see the sun more. Our island host was Zappe and we could always write him when needed. Thank you for the relaxing time, we will come back

A real paradise

We have been here for the 3rd time. It is a unique resort to enjoy the beauty of Maldives: really quite, eco-friendly and perfect in all the details. Hassaan has been a special host as well as all the excellent staff. Food in the 5 different restaurants is always surprising and top level (perfect that is a la carte, to maximize relax and enjoyment). All the facilities are perfect: the spa, the gym , the dive center , and the rooms are so nice and in contact with nature that are really difficult to leave. We will come for sure again and again!
