A fabulous resort at an affordable price

Pros: - Beautiful overwater villa. - Great food - in particular we loved the a’la carte Indian and Thai dinners at the main restaurant but the Gaadiya food truck and the underwater restaurant were also fantastic. - The service was absolutely top notch (special thanks to our host Sara who was wonderful and went out of her way to make sure that the stay was perfect). - An amazing spa - we never felt so relaxed after a massage (the hot stone massage was superb) - The all-inclusive wine list is very impressive with some seriously good selection from around the world. - Great Bloody Marys (or Red Snappers as they call them there) at the pool bar! - Finally, a great atmosphere- it was our first time at an adults-only resort and certainly not out last! - Overall a great experience for half the price that you would pay at other all-inclusive resorts in the Maldives.

Cons: The beach is not that great (this is a new man-made island). The reef around the island is rather averages so for some better snorkeling sites you need to take a boat. Be aware that due to proximity to Male you can see some of the high-rise buildings on the island.

BEST PLACE EVER!!

Pros: I have to start with the staff, they made our stay! Everyone was so smiley and friendly and would bend over backwards to help you! Sara was our island host and helped us with everything we could need. She arranged such an incredible day for my birthday full of surprises, I felt so special! On my birthday our housekeeper, Joenina decorated our room so beautifully, I was so surprised and touched with how much effort she put in. She is clearly very creatively, talented. All the Chefs and Servers in all restaurants but in particular Ylang Ylang were amazing, always keeping drinks topped up, smiling and helping us. Nothing was too much! Which takes me onto the food.. I am Vegan and was worried about not being able to eat but that was not the case, Chef Padam (absolute legend) came to me everyday to ask what I would like to eat and every single thing I had was the best food I have ever tasted! We definitely gained weight with all the yummy food here! The Underwater restaurant is also really cool, we saw so many fish and a few reef sharks! The Resort and rooms were beautiful, we stayed in the water villa and it was so spacious with a massive bath, a net bed for star gazing and a glass bottom floor! We personally didn't have the best weather on some of the days we were there but it didn't really effect us at all, we didn't once feel bored as they have optional things to get involved in! The Lobi Plan (all inclusive) included a 45 minute massage, 2 excursions which could be snorkelling, sunset cruise or sunset fishing. We did the sunset cruise and snorkelling both of which were amazing. We saw so many fish on the snorkelling trip and in fact you see lots of fish just walking to the villas! All the small details did not go un missed, little things like cushions and drinks on the boat that picks you up, staff remembering your names and what you enjoy, not to forget being welcomed to the island with a rose and a musician playing.

Hats off to ALL of the staff. Everyone delivered impeccable service! To name a few: Sara, Alex, Jenny, Haydie, Wintri,Albi and Patrice were all fantastic and extremely kind and welcoming. I certainly enjoyed the company of the staff, I also love how cleanly kept the grounds are. I do feel like there should be a little more food variety but the food is really good.The over water bungalows are beautiful but seem smaller than what is advertised on the website. I would say that this resort suits more of the 45+ age group. There is construction going on in the waters so it it can be noisy and makes the waters choppier. I heavily consider the marine life so I will not stay in water bungalows anywhere because they interfere with the environment and the reefs. The beach area is more like small beach points around the resort as opposed to a full long beach to lounge and walk on. The Elaine Spa is a must! I had one of the best massages in my life here. I highly recommend Komang. She is absolutely incredible and helps release tension and pain. She provided post treatment recommendations which is always a plus so that clients know what to do when they’re back home. Overall my experience was very relaxing and I recommend it to anyone seeking to relax, enjoy food and snorkeling. 💫

"This place is simply perfect for honeymoon couples, it's like a taste of heaven." ❤️ The resort is conveniently located 15 minutes away by speedboat from the airport. You're greeted upon arrival as if you're the most special guest they have, with a professional saxophonist. The staff on the property will make you feel like you're the absolute center of attention. They're courteous and professional, always carrying a smile on their faces and ensuring the comfort of their guests at all times. We would like to thank our amazing hostess, Mila, who made the experience very personalized for us as a honeymoon couple. She made sure we are always comfortable, taking us on buggy rides from place to place and always available to attend to our every need. If you've got her as your hostess, you're very fortunate! 🙏 At Ylang Ylang restaurant, the food was extensive in variety and we are so full every moment during our stay! We thank Ms Haydie our waitress for always serving us with a smile. We thank Ms Laka the restaurant hostess for ensuring an enjoyable experience each time we are there. We thank Ms Alex the island manger for going beyond to ensure our needs are met, even providing my wife with a hairband when we forgot to bring ours. The Oblu application was easy to use and allowed us to plan our itinerary effortlessly and in advance. We enjoyed the island activities such as snorkeling excursion, cooking class, sunset cruise, couple massage, all of which were conveniently accessible through the app. We loved the design of the overwater villa - having an overwater hammock to relax on, a glass window on the floor in the living room to view the sea and a rain shower with a huge bathtub to enjoy. We loved that they provided everything in a pair for couples: 'His' and 'Hers' from the sun hats, slippers, bath robes. The underwater Only Blu restaurant was also an extremely special dining experience. We highly recommend this place for couples who would like to pamper themselves on a relaxing and romantic first-class experience. This place is indeed a MUST on your bucket list as a couple, a dream island to create special memories with each other. Top 3 highlights of the resort: 💯 1) Infinity Pool 2) Underwater Restaurant 3) Sunset cruise. A favourite highlight for us was also our daily buggy rides in the pink buggy to get around the island!

在Lobigili的每一天都很快樂謝謝我們的管家Sara 及島上唯一的中文管家Kate 還有其他服務人員,Thanks~ 從房間到餐廳餐點、設施每一樣都100分，好的沒話說。每天都有不同變化，不會覺得膩！（我們從早到晚都在喝酒😂， Bartender 們也超厲害！要什麼特調他們都弄得出來）另外也可以去姐妹島Ailafushi玩耍，兩邊截然不同的風貌，但是一樣好玩！ Lobigili很安靜（島上要滿18歲才能來） Ailafushi則是主打親子同遊，很歡樂的地方！然後這次有幸遇到印度排燈節，島上每一個地方都很用心佈置。也體驗了一個不同國家過節的氛圍。從入住到離開， Logbigili都讓我們覺得備感五星的尊榮體驗，真的好評👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 如果有機會還會想要回訪！！

OBLU SELECT Lobigili Sehr gerne verfassen wir eine Bewertung und versuchen es strukturiert aufzubauen. Man kann so viele Eindrücke nicht in Worte fassen. Aber kurz gesagt, ein sehr schönes Fleckchen Erde! Zeitraum: 31.01.23 – 09.02.23 Condor Airbus A330 Neo Ankunft: Man ist ca. 15-20 min mit dem Boot auf die Insel unterwegs wo man dann mit einem klatschen und Saxophon tönen herzlichst empfangen wird. Auf dem Boot gibt es W-LAN damit man sich über die App einchecken kann. An der SwingBar wird ein Glas Sekt gereicht, was unfassbar wichtig und richtig war. Villa: Wir sind dann mit einem Caddy zur Inselbesichtigung und danach zu unserer Wasservilla (313) mit Pool gefahren worden. Hervorzuheben ist hier, dass Sara (Island Hostess) unglaubliche Arbeit leistet und rund um die Uhr per WhatsApp Fragen und Reservierungen sowie sonstige Wünsche direkt umsetzt. Ebenso war die Zimmerreinigung sehr gut. Super Job! Zur Villa selber: Sehr sehr sauber, toller Terassenbereich mit Pool , direkter Meerzugang. Minibar war immer gefüllt. Außenliegender Badbereich mit Ventilator und sehr detailreich gestaltet. Tolle Designellemente. Privatsphäre ist komplett vorhanden da gut abgeschirmt. Kurz gesagt: Perfekt. Restaurant/Essen: WOW, was will man da noch schreiben. Egal ob im Ylang Ylang wo es Frühstück/Mittag/Abendessen gibt, im Only Blue (Unterwasserrestaurant) wo man je nach Anzahl der Nächte 1-2 mal zu Mittag oder Abend essen kann, oder Gaadiya 17 (Foodtruck) ebenso je nach Übernachtung Abendessen. Es war bei allem hervorragend und unglaublich im Geschmack und Anrichtung. Da können sich manche Restaurants ein Beispiel nehmen. Großes Großes Lob an die Mitarbeiter und Köche. Probiert auf jeden Fall auch die Indonesichen Gerichte, dürft ihr nicht verpassen. Ebenso gab es zu unsere Zeit ein ChefBuffet, was ein unglaubliches Erlebnis ist, unfassbar lecker und ebenso ein Fest für‘s Auge! Insel: Tolle kleine ruhige Insel die man umlaufen kann. Es gibt einem ein Familiäres Gefühl. Man kann auch mal einen Spaziergang zu Nachbarinsel über den Steg machen und sich dort an der Bar stärken für den Rückweg. Die Insel ist sehr sauber und wird auch täglich durch Mitarbeiter gepflegt. Was soll man da sonst sagen, weißer Sand, klares und türkisenes Wasser, tolle Vegetation, ein Traum. Mitarbeiter: ohne Ausnahme wird man von allen sehr nett begrüßt und auch zuvorkommend behandelt. Man merkt sie machen ihren Job gerne. Im Gastro Bereich sieht man die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Mitarbeiter. Sehr herzlich und liebenswürdig. Möchten uns hier bei dem Bar Team bedanken, die uns die Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen haben. Und natürlich auch namentlich bei: Krishna, Jenny und Cris. Ein super toller Job wird hier gemacht! Wasseraktivitäten: Man wird eingeladen zu einer Sunset Cruise und Abendfischen. Schnorchel Tour ist ebenso inbegriffen. Schnorcheln kann man ausreichend und das benötigte Equipment wie Brille, Schnorchel und Flossen kann man ausleihen. Man kann mehrere Wassersportarten buchen. Spa: Je nach Aufenthaltsdauer sind 1-2 Massagen inklusive, es kann zwischen unterschiedlichen Anwendungen ausgewählt werden. Wer Massagen gerne mag, muss die unbedingt machen. Das ganze Ambiente im Spa ist wirklich schön und die Damen machen super Arbeit. Trägt absolut zum Erholungsfaktor bei. Unterwasserwelt: Wir selber sind auf keine dieser Trips mitgegangen. Hatten aber genug zu schauen vor unserer Villa und bei allen Villen entlang kann man sehr schön Schnorcheln bis ans Ende der Insel. Zusammenfassung: Rundum ein perfekter Urlaub, der unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Wer die Seele baumeln lassen möchte, kann dies hier wunderbar tun. Man kann gar nicht alles in Worte fassen, denn man muss es erleben. Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte, einfach ein Traum. Absolut zu empfehlen!

This resort, the staff and the food would be difficult to beat. It's nickname "love island " is extremely fitting. It's designed for couples, but no kids are allowed. However, it's sister resort just over the walkable bridge, does allow kids. When you stay at Lobigili, you can go to the other resort and experience their amenities as well, which was great for us. Since the other island had pool tables, Foosball and live music at night for dancing, it was a great combo for us. This resort is all inclusive, which we greatly appreciated after our previous week at another resort in the Maldives that charged us for everything. To top off the entire stay, Chef Ajay is absolutely phenomenal. As someone who has Celiac and eats a vegan diet, my food choices are typically very limited. I don't expect people to cater to me and make do with what I can find when traveling. But this experience was completely different and unexpected. He and his staff created dishes specifically for me and kept the food coming so much that I don't think I've ever had to tell someone to stop feeding me. My husband, who's also a chef, was definitely impressed with his skills and how gracious both the chef and his staff were with me and my dietary restrictions. 5 stars all the way on all fronts. Now any resort and restaurant we go to will have to compete with Oblu Lobigili!

We had such a magical wedding anniversary holiday at Oblu Select Lobigili. Our Island hostess, Lisa was amazing and went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. Thank you Lisa. The over water Villas are beautiful and well appointed. The snorkeling just off the villa is incredible with lots of brightly coloured fish! Also we visited the spa twice and it was so relaxing. Our therapists Pebri and Nui really looked after us, thank you. Lastly, the food at Ylang-ylang was delicious with a good variety on offer. Special thanks to the lovely Teju for looking after us. The whole team really made out holiday extra amazing, so thank you everyone! 😊

Unbelievable. Just simply unbelievable. From we arrived by boat we didn’t have to lift a finger, greeted at the port by staff and serenaded almost ! Accommodation and resort is like a postcard, Staff are very accommodating and almost too nice ! Special mention to sudha, Srashti and neha the cleaner but all staff were so lovely and accommodating! Plenty to do like water sports, half day/full day excursions to bigger fishing spots, massages, gym etc Couldn’t recommend it enough! A paradise like no other !

OBLU SELECT Lobigili is as beautiful as it is in the promotional photos. We had an amazing honeymoon that was made even more special by the super-attentive and friendly staff who always seem to be on hand but not in the way. The island: Lobigilli (the Love Island) is pristine, and the immaculate resort facilities are spread across the island. The bar, infinity pool and social area in one place, the restaurant, water sports centre, gym and underwater restaurant just a few minutes’ walk away. Villa: our over-water villa was perfect – a very well-appointed space with direct (northerly) access to a coral reef and great, safe snorkelling experience. The air conditioning is very effective and welcome at times! We both loved the semi-outdoor bathroom too. Food & Drink: the food was a real highlight - consistently of excellent quality and the choice was comprehensive for breakfast, lunch and dinner, catering for most tastes. The staff and the service were immaculate. The resort offered a great selection of branded drinks and an extensive cocktail menu. We never felt restricted with drinks or food – the team were very happy to serve what we wanted, when we wanted, and we never felt like we waited or queued. We should mention the DJ – who performed at various points during our stay. She did a great job in sensing the moment and matching the music to the time of day and her audience. Hostess: each villa is assigned a Hostess whose job is to support and advise you. Rinki was exceptional – she advised us, organised trips, bookings and ferried us around on the electric buggy when we were too lazy/hot/full/drunk to walk. Trips & Spa: the resort offers a snorkelling trip each morning and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As we both love the ocean, we loved the turtle snorkelling trip (which was an additional charge). Seeing these creatures in their habitat was a real treat. There are a range of water sports and trips on offer. The Spa is also excellent. I think a Maldives holiday works best for those who love the ocean and can take full advantage of the amazing location. Vibe: OBLU SELECT Lobigili is a 5 star, all-inclusive and child-free resort. We met lots of like-minded, friendly and courteous people, primarily from the UK, Germany and Australia although other nationalities were represented too. The pace is slow and relaxed which suited us for this trip – this is not a party island.

여기 지내는 동안 엄청 재밌었고 해변에 가거나 풀에서 놀기도 엄청 좋았어요!! 허니문 특전 등 즐길거리도 많았어요!! 다들 엄청 친절한데 저희 담당 버틀러 Ester!! 진짜 친절해요!! 그리고 한국어 하십니다 ㅎㅎ 그래서 편하게 잘 놀았어요!! 식당은 1개인데 음식이 매일 바뀌고 점심이 제일 맛있었어요 ㅎㅎ 바다 진짜 예뻐요!! 어디로 봐도 그냥 다 예뻐요!!

신혼여행으로 온 로비길리 새로지어진 리조트 답게 노후된 컨디션 없이 매우 정갈하고 새련됐다 직원들도 너무 친절했고 담당 호스트(ESTER), 바텐더 (SERA)가 기억에 남을 정도로 친절했다 좋은 기억 많이 남기고 가는듯 하다 음식은 다양했으며 맛 또한 좋아서 질리지 않았다 옆으로 연결된 아얄라푸시는 활동적인 분위기로 함께 즐길수 있어 두가지 느낌을 느낄수 있다

Simply thr best place I have been to. Staff are the friendliest and smiliest people you will ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble. Our host Mechelle was first class, made sure everything we wanted was provided and could not have been more courteous and friendly. This was a week of sun needed as a result of being exhausted from work. I am returning refreshed having had good food and wine in a paradise island. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to all.

We stayed for ten days at this beautiful island. Our island hostess Mechelle was very attentative, kind and warm-hearted. She took care of our itinerary and had already booked several (included!!) so-called Lobi Plan activities such as massages, a sunset boat trip and special dinners at the fabulous Only Blu underwater restaurant and the beach restaurant Gaadiya 17. This holiday was exactly what we needed as we did not have to plan anything beforehand and could focus on relaxing, swimming, dining and simply enjoying this little island. You are able to rent out snorkeling gear and stand-up paddles or kayaks, all included in the Lobi Plan. In addition, (next to the usual amenities) each villa offers complimentary slippers, a beach bag and sunhats, which we found very handy! We stayed at a Water Villa (without pool) which had an open-air bathroom, typical for Maldives and a spacious balcony. We loved it! Lobigili offers regular live music at the Swing bar at night - but bear in mind that it is not a party place. This was perfect for us because the lack of party people was the reason why we chose to stay at Lobigili. However, if you do want to party you can choose to head to the neighboring island Ailafushi which you can reach via a bridge. Ailafushi also has a souvenir store and a small medical clinic. I enjoyed the tastiest Indian food I had ever tasted in my whole life and actually stuck to Indian almost for the entire holiday - but the restaurants at Lobigili offer of course way more than that! We loved the food which ranged from Western style to different kind of Asian styles. Please ensure to stay at least for one Monday on the island as on Mondays, there is ‚chef‘s market‘ with different types of food from all over the world and with live music. Last but not least: the staff at Lobigili is the most caring, nice and attentative I have ever met. I enjoyed all conversations and wish to see every single one of them again on our next holiday there. If you have the chance, talk to lovely Naahil - he will maybe show you his fabulous artwork :)

결혼식 후 신혼여행으로 왔어요. 환승으로 인해 24시간 이상 걸렸는데 도착해보니 섬의 아름다운 뷰에 피곤함도 잊혀질 정도였어요. 각 룸마다 배정되는 버틀러가 익스커션이나 식사일정을 잘 조절해줘서 하루하루 지루할 틈도 없고 너무 즐거웠어요. 식당은 하나지만 점심과 저녁은 메뉴가 다양해서 질릴지 않고 맛있었어요. 그리고 스윙바에서 칵테일도 원없이 마셨는데 특히 모히또 매일같이 마셨어요. 워터풀빌라에서 숙박을 했는데 스노쿨링하기 너무 좋았고, 다양한 색상의 물고기를 볼 수있어서 행복했어요. 또 로비길리에만 있는 수중레스토랑, 식사시간이 너무 짧게 느껴질만큼 물고기도 많았고 상어까지 봤던 특별한 시간이었어요. 그 외 리조트를 항상 깨끗하게 가꾸고 있었고, 스텝들도 친절하고 미소로 맞아주어 더불어 기분이 좋아졌어요. 4박이 너무 짧아서 더 머물고싶고 가능하다면 꼭 다시 가고싶어요!
