Fantastic honeymoon location, Drift is exactly the sort that you'd imagine when thinking of the perfect island holiday. The water villas were great, somehow exceeding our expectations. I couldn't believe how modern and new they felt given the difficulties I'm sure they must have with maintenance. The staff were similarly all incredible, faultless in fact. The only downside would perhaps be the food and drinks. While none of it was 'bad', for the price it was noticeably below the standard of what you'd expect. The buffets were always very varied, but often some of the items felt tacked on or basic. The coffee in particular was a weak point, and it was clear the drinks were all made by a machine rather than a barista, which was surprising as some staff mentioned that the island is very popular in Italy, but maybe that's leaning into stereotypes too much. The internet was also very patchy everywhere except the rooms. My wife's iPhone in particular couldn't get reception at all. The water in the room each day wasn't enough. When you consider the cost of the hotel as a whole, the extra cost per day of buying water isn't so bad, but it would be more convenient if it were factored into the price that you get a larger bottle every day so you didn't need to order it. The banana chips offered with drinks were delicious, we'll be trying to find them back home. All that said, we'd definitely happily return. The island being so small really adds to the intimate nature of a visit.

Ich war im Dezember 24 mit meinen Eltern eine Woche im Retreat und es war traumhaft. Der Strand ist wunderschön und die Insel im allgemeinen einfach nur toll. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und ich konnte noch nie so gut entspannen wie an diesem Ort.

Should keep it pruvate to avoid competition ... anyhow, one of the best reefs although not on the atoll borders. Corals are coming back. Great staff and good food. Authentic Maldivean style island. Ok, some roofs and showers need fixing but who cares :)

Ho recentemente soggiornato in questo resort che per quanto sia incorniciato in un vero e proprio paradiso circondato da acque cristalline e spiagge di sabbia bianca ha superato ogni limite in termini di pessima qualità dei servizi. La scarsa attenzione alle esigenze degli ospiti era evidente fin dal nostro arrivo, con un personale inflessibile che sembrava più interessato a seguire le procedure che a risolvere i problemi. Ogni richiesta, per quanto ragionevole, veniva ignorata o respinta con una freddezza inaccettabile. Inoltre, per aggiungere, hanno danneggiato in maniera irreparabile alcuni dei miei beni personali durante il soggiorno. È stato davvero frustrante vedere la mancanza di cura e rispetto per le proprietà degli ospiti. Spero che il resort prenda seri provvedimenti per migliorare i propri servizi e trattare meglio i propri ospiti in futuro. Per la grave negligenza nella gestione questo tipo di esperienza è inaccettabile per un resort che si propone di offrire un soggiorno di lusso. Non consiglio affatto questa struttura a chi cerca un servizio di qualità e un'adeguata attenzione alle proprie esigenze.

We just came back from a week at Drift to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. |The island is amazing- a proper tropical paradise- and the water bungalow was very comfortable: excellent bathroom, shower, bath, lots of space, comfy bed and seating and fantastic balcony with steps straight into the warm ocean.|The staff we also very friendly and attentive, looking after us well.||However, a number of small issues ended up causing us to feel a bit unsatisfied.|- the thatched roofs on some of the water bungalows were being renovated which was fun to watch: however they started at 8am which meant we were woken up by hammering. Then by 10am no-one was working. It would certainly have been better for the guests if they simply started later|- we mentioned it was our 25th anniversary, and saw a number of other couples get a celebratory private dinner, but were not offered anything like that|- we were told there would be a fishing excursion but this never materialised due to bad weather- these things happen, but there was no attempt to offer some sort of alternative|- we were told our all inclusive package allowed us 2 soft drinks from the mini-bar each day but were then billed $50 at the end of the week for the fruit juices we had drunk. The small print stated that fruit juices were not included, so fair enough I guess, but it felt deliberatively confusing and petty||So nothing major, and we still had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay- but given the amount of money we spent, I was hoping for a better.

I decided on a solo relaxing holiday for my birthday this year. First time in the Maldives too. I don’t think I could have chosen a more perfect hotel. It was everything I’d expected and more. Reasonably priced for the stay. Massages, drinks and diving were quite pricey though. The entire team made me feel special for the 5 days I was there. They even brought out cake and wine for my birthday and created a cute design on the bed. I can’t wait to go back!!

This is our third visit to Drift. The truly magical traditional maldivian Island of our dreams. Angel Fish as always organised our trip to perfection They are so professional friendly and efficient. Nothing is ever too much bother.|The Island and Staff are perfection, making us feel like we have returned home.|We were totally spoilt during our stay and cannot thank the Island staff enough. Maria and the restaurant and Bar team you were always brightening up our already perfct, sunny days. |No shoes required for our entire 3 week stay just bliss!!!|We will return we hope same time next year.|Thank you all at Angel Fish and Drift.|Love |Denyse and Kenny xxx

Che dire la settimana tutto sommato ci è passata! Il mare e i colori sono meravigliosi, purtroppo ciò non è stato sufficiente a rendere indimenticabile la nostra vacanza. Buffet scarso e ripetitivo, un all inclusive che non vale la pena! Per altro il mini bar non è nemmeno incluso e una coca cola l'abbiamo dovuta pagare quasi 8 dollari un furto!! per non parlare poi dei sacchetti di sabbia presenti nella spiaggia per contenere un non so che....forse dovevamo saperlo quando nelle carte che ci ha dato l'agenzia abbiamo scoperto che era un prodotto Alpitour, mi spiace ma alle Maldive c'è molto di meglio. Non soddisfatti.

We stayed at the resort from August 26th, 2024 to September 7th, 2024, and can recommend it with some reservations. If you're looking for peace and quiet and don't expect a lot of activities, the resort is ideal. It only offers a standard spa area and has a dive center attached. I highly recommend the dive center: The main person in charge, nicknamed Dude, is an incredibly pleasant person. He takes great care of his diving guests and has a very good sense of what they want. He is excellent at assessing their diving skills. Safety is his top priority. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable about the dive sites and knows where the highlights are. Since the resort only has about 30 rooms, you can expect that the dive groups will never be too large. I was more than satisfied with the care provided by Dude

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati al resort nel periodo di fine agosto inizio settembre... da premettere spiaggia e mare spettacolare niente da dire purtroppo non possiamo dire lo stesso della pulizia della camera il quale veniva richiesto alla persona che si occupava della nostra camera se ci fornisse della carta igienica più volte,una camera con un pavimento pieno di sabbia non veniva mai pulito,una formula all inclusive molto particolare, al bar principale potevi usufruire di bevande come coca cola sprite ecc ma se volevamo portarle nella camera non potevamo perché se avessimo avuto voglia di coca cola o altro dovevamo prendere quelle presenti nel frigo bar prettamente a pagamento e non incluse nel trattamento all inclusive,uno snack pomeridiano dalle 16:00 alle 17:00 il quale era possibile prendere solo una pietanza presente sul menu che variava in base ai giorni settimanale cosa per me assurda e se si facevano 2 minuti di ritardo dalle 17:00 non era possibile più usufruire dello snack pomeridiano. Buffet sia del pranzo che della cena sempre speziato e con pochissima scelta per i non amati dei piatti speziati e di altre culture. Abbiamo alloggiato nella overwater stanza molto bella e con una vista sul mare paradisiaca. Peccato per questi disservizi altrimenti sarebbe stato un soggiorno indimenticabile…
