Seaplane/Domestic flight + speedboat
Upon arrival, guests will be accompanied by our airport hosts at the arrival hall. All guests will have access to a lounge facility at either the seaplane or domestic terminal, depending on the booked mode of transfer. Every effort will be made to transfer the guest to the resort within 3 hours of arriving at the lounge subject to vendor services. Transfer mode and must be specified in the booking request.

Last-minute (72 hours or less prior to the international flight landing) mode of transfer change/ cancellation is subject to an extra charge of USD 200 per person including children (including services and the rate difference). No-shows will be charged 100% of the applicable transfer charges
Airport transfer via Seaplane or Domestic Flight + Speedboat: Free of Charge for Infants (under 2 years)
Private seaplane transfer can be arranged on request. Rates are subject to change and therefore need to be reconfirmed with the resort.
The baggage allowance is 20kg and 5kg hand luggage for both services. Any excess baggage is chargeable and will have to be paid directly to the Seaplane carrier at USD 5.00 per kg and to the Domestic carrier at USD 0.75 per kg.
The resort must receive full flight details at least 7 days prior to the arrival in order to guarantee the transfer seats. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time at the airport lounge or overnight in Malé at the client's additional cost.
Departing guests will be transferred to the airport at least 3 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time of the international flight.
Airport transfer via seaplane is available during daylight hours only. Any change to this will be communicated along with any change to conditions.
Guests arriving on international flights will be required to check-in at the TMA seaplane counter in the international arrivals terminal before 16:00hrs in order to be able to transfer to the resort on the same day or they will require overnight accommodation in Malé (under their own arrangement) and will be transferred to the resort the following morning. Domestic transfer can be arranged subject to availability.
Guests departing Malé on an international flight prior to 09:00hrs will be transferred late the previous afternoon. Accommodation can be booked in Malé at an additional cost.
- Seaplane rates are subject to increase if a fuel surcharge or any other new tax is imposed.
Seaplane and domestic flights are operated by a third party with rates shown currently at the time of this contract. Any changes in the rates by the carriers will be immediately applied to all guest fares. Transfer rates are subject to change if any new tax changes or fees are imposed.
NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort reserves the right to alter the method of transport, in case of cancellations or alterations arising from this clause. Should we need to rebook a guest from Seaplane to a Domestic flight for any reason mentioned in this agreement; the difference in flight charge will be refunded to the client.
Flight times are confirmed to the Resort by the carriers prior to the travel date and will be advised to the guests on the evening of departure and will be advised to the guests upon arrival in Male’.
In the event of any reasons whatsoever, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, aircraft or unserviceable equipment, operational conditions, or requirements, cause the cancellation of the flight then the guest will be offered a refund or reschedule of the transfer. The resort will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred as a result of any delays, cancellations, or alterations arising from this clause.
Moreover, irrespective of the meal plan booked, the clients will be entitled to have breakfast & dinner only. The Resort will not be entertaining compensation claims and no-show charges of the originally booked hotel will not be refunded either.
The transfer may not always be available at a designated time and the Resort is not liable for any compensation arising for such Delay. All flights have a fixed schedule. The waiting time at Male Airport cannot be confirmed in advance.
Seaplane transfer may have a possible stop en route.
