Extremely friendly staff. Large comfortable and clean rooms and not every 5 mins walk from the beach (where isn’t on this lovely little island?). Plus, good connection to a fantastic dive centre, Oceanholic. A really good reasonably budget option for the Maldives.

The two times over the past year I have stayed at White Sand have been really amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, especially the showers and beds. Staff came in every day to clean, making the rooms a pleasant place to stay, even when the weather is not so great. The breakfast has both local and international options, also offering an egg station. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Saamii for the organisation and care, making the stay on the island even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend choosing White Sand for your stay on Dhigurah if you like close proximity to the beach, a welcoming atmosphere and a high hospitality standard.

We booked our stay here through Holidays Link Maldives. I informed them we were on a budget. All meals were included and speed boat transfers from Male airport. I think it could have worked our cheaper if I booked independently but all good. We arrived late in the evening as bad weather forced out to take a plane to a nearby island Maamigili and then got picked up for a 20 minute speed boat ride. We were met by a tuk tuk who took us to the hotel. From the minute we got to the hotel we were greeted by friendly faces all of whom were welcoming. We were given refreshing towels and a welcome drink. We headed up to the terrace for dinner which was nice. Meals in general were simple and probably the only area I feel could be improved. There was always salad, veggies and then rice or noodles with a chicken or fish option for lunch/dinner. All dives were organised through the hotel with Oceanholic. I think they are managed or run in tandem. Every single team member was very helpful and friendly. Some stand outs for us were : Reehan, Sammi and Hussein but really everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the roughly 10km return walk till the end of the sand cay where the private resort begins. Dhigurah is simply stunning. My only peeve is the amount of waste which was thrown around. Beach clean ups are now a must and we hope every tourist visiting can do their bit and help being responsible, dispose of garbage responsibly and reduce single use. This was our first trip to the Maldives and we hope to return to this slice of paradise soon! Thanks again White Sands Dhigurah

Different people, different preferences, different tastes. We loved our stay here. The rooms are clean and neat, the people are so nice, friendly and they do everything to make you fell home. Great hospitality from everyone here. White Sand is a 100% local experience and we will be back one day.

Very good "value for money" packeg! The food was fresh and tasty. All the rooms are dayli cleaned . We enjoyed the diving with responsible PADI guide, and we saw whale shark several times, it was "one in a life" experience. The staff are experienced and friendly, felt like a 5 stars service. Hope to visit there in the future, many thanks.
