Ukulhas Beach Inn

The manager of the guesthouse, Afaaq, was always available to help with anything. We arrived to the island by boat which was all arranged and was there to greet us. The guesthouse is quite new but it is clean and fresh, the rooms are cleaned every day, and the breakfast was delicious with something different to try each morning. The staff are super friendly and their hospitality was amazing. There are lots of excursions available from reception. My husband, our 4 year old and I went swimming with the Manta Rays!! OUT OF THE WORLD and something we will never forget. Snorkelling around the island is just incredible; we saw reef sharks, turtles and loads of different smaller fish. The location of the guesthouse is just perfect, a short walk to the beautiful beach and next door you have the best restaurant on the island. There are so many other restaurants to try and all the food is amazing. The locals are so friendly, always welcoming and while the main village play area urgently needs repairing, my little girl enjoyed playing with the local children. The harbour in the afternoon when the fishermen come back is another spectacular site to see. If you haven’t visited this beautiful island, what are you waiting for??????

I was visiting this guesthouse for almost a week and the stuff was so helpful and kind! It is new guesthouse, and the rooms are clean and fresh! Breakfasts were amazing! Thanks a lot to all members of the guesthouse. Recommended to everyone

We liked location very much. Rooms are clean and sitting area are infront of the room is really nice bonus. Manager of hotel was always available and ready to help. I must say all staff at hotel was TOP!!!! they arranged trips and pcr test for us..always on time!!!! i can only recommend this place! Couple from Russia

I was booked with a deposit paid for a three night stay on Ukulhas in February. Literally the morning I was due to arrive, they informed my agent that they were now full and were moving me to a much inferior property they owned, in fact, the lowest rated inn on the island. Nothing I or my agent could do. The island was completely booked, which is why they thought they could get away with this dirty trick, but fortunately I was able to find another place to stay. My agent refunded me, but Ulkulhas Beach Inn has not refunded him as of this writing.

Our original reservation was on New Moon Village. They had over booked and we were handed over to Ukulhas beach Inn. To be honest we were dissappointed initially. But after meeting manager Afaaq and his friendly staff we were really lucky! Manager Afaaq helped us on all issues and we would not image better host. The Ukulhas beach Inn is well maintained, clean basic accommodation like all other facilities on island. The really beautiful Ukulhas island with many good restaurants is worth visiting. Best are beautiful beaches and waters with off short snorkeling. Many thanks to Afaaq and his friendly staff who made the vacation special.
