Kiha Beach

An amazing gem of a hotel . All the ingredients for an awesome holiday : friendly, helpful staff who went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable (I even saw one of the waiters carrying a cocktail to a customer sitting in the water at the beach). My vegan partner was spoilt by a delicious, daily meal tailored to his needs and always freshly cooked and personally served,. The buffet food was lovely as were the beach BBQs and our romantic dinner of lobster and seafood (for me !) on the beach. Palm trees provide all the shade one needs on the pristine private beach and the house reef abounds with colorful fish and sea life. the excursions were fun, both diving and snorkling were great. Dharavandhoo's population numbers about 800 friendly and welcoming people so it's always a pleasure to go for a short bike ride around the island. The seaview rooms were airy and well-appointed with beautiful views. Cleaning staff did a great job as well. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a small boutique hotel, then Kiha beach is definitely a good fit. We also found the no alcohol rule on the island a great way to take a healthy break !

They are the best! The stuff, the hotel, the beach… Everything was simply amazing. Everybody was super kind and friendly. It’s all about the guests well-being at Kiha Beach. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are beautiful and big. The 3 hour snorkeling trip was unforgettable. We saw turtles, sharks, little nemo fish. There was a wide variety of foods also for vegetarians and vegans. I can recommend Kiha Beach with all my heart.❤️

We recently stayed here for 10 days. The place is amazing. The staff a very helpfull and will do anything for you. We came here in the low season to sea the mantas and whale sharks. The arange the trips and put you on call for manra watch. Normally afternoon. The manager was fantastic. A wealth of knowledge and even came on the boat trips. We did several trips and all were great. They have a go pro 10 that you can hire and snorkling gear to. The house reef is amazing. Easy to snorkle. The food was also great although sometimes a little spicy. But if you speak to them they will sort food out. I was craving chips one night and i had a plate cooked for me. The rooms are good. Beds really comfy. Air con works well. Meal timings are good. I would recomend getting in touch with them direct as you get better rated and book well in advance. You can pay when you arrive. I would avoid using credit card to pay as thete is a 3.5 % charge. Cash is always good. Us dollar. The maldives currency is 1 dollat to 15 of the maldives. Most shops take US dollar but you get back local currency. I strongly recomend this hotel. Many thanks to all of the staff for making our stay great.

Great place to stay in Dharavandhoo if you are looking for beach front comfortable stay with pool and great services. The Seaview rooms has great view of the sea. Its quite enjoyable to sit at the balcony and watch the boats passing. The room is quite spacious , comfortable , clean, and well equipped with plenty of outlets to charge your phones, laptops, and cameras!! Love the pool that they brilliantly use salt water!! So definitely no chorines!! We quite enjoy the food here, even though selection is not that many , but its sufficient!! We love the vegetable soup and Pumpkin soup!! One some night of the week, they have dinner with traditional dance show which is very nice. I believe this is the only hotel on this island that organize this! For excursion, Kiha has a speed boat which can travel to snorkeling point or Hanifaru bay faster than other guesthouse that use Dhoni shape boat. However, because the speedboat has limited shade, so do bring hats!! So that you wont get burn during the boat ride. Ali and the rest of Kiha team are super nice and welcoming. Ali is also a Hanifaru license guide, so when ever there is quite a number of manta in the bay, he can take the guest to the bay (if its a guesthouse day!) All in all, we had a wonderful 7 days staying at Kiha. We love the room, the pool, food, and staff hospitality. Thank you for having us! The only issue I had was the slow and unstable internet 😅 which is difficult for an agile worker like me.

I was in the hotel a few years ago when it just opened, I had fond memories so I went back for the second time and was very pleased to see that they had kept up, if not improved, the already excellent standards. The staff was still the same (with a few welcome additions) so it means that the management is doing a very good job in retaining them and they, in turn, do a very good job in making the guests feel at home, they are super kind and you can easily see how they strive to make the guest very satisfied. Rooms are modern, comfy and clean and there is Sat-TV, kettle with coffee and tea, also private safe in the cabinet and WI-FI in all rooms and on the beach, the food is excellent and the staff is very helpful. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel.
