Who are we?

Islandii.com has been started in 2015 as a travel blog to local Maldives islands (Former name is BudgetMaldives.co).  In 2017 we registered a company Budget Maldives Ltd. and started to operate as an online travel agency to Maldives. In May 2019 we shifted our office to London, United Kingdom and changed the name to Islandii Ltd. Our reviews in TripAdvisor

What tours do you provide?

We provide tours to

– 130+ island resorts (via local tour operator Let’s Go Maldives)
– 20 guest houses in different local islands (direct contract)
– 10 liveaboards (direct contract)
– 2 sailing catamarans (direct contract)
– some number of small luxury yachts.

We can arrange any tour to Maldives.

Do you have flight tickets?

No, we don’t have.

What resort package is included?

Accommodation, meal, transfer Male-Resort and Resort-Male, all taxes and fees.

How does the booking process work?

Resorts

1) We receive a quote from you.
2) We check availability and confirm price with local tour operator we’re working with – Let’s Go Maldives
3) If availability is confirmed, we reserve on your name and get official confirmation from resort via email. This confirmation we resend you with invoice
4) You make 100% payment (only full payment is acceptable, it’s a resort rule) via bank transfer or by card. We receive your payment and send to resort.
5) Once payment is done, resort send a voucher and we resend to you.

Guesthouses

1) We receive a quote from you.
2) We check availability with guest house
3) If availability is confirmed, we reserve on your name and send you an invoice
4) You make either a deposit or 100% payment (it depends on the guest house) via bank transfer or by card. We receive your payment and send it to guest house
5) Once payment is done, we send you an updated invoice.

Liveaboards

1) We receive a quote from you.
2) We check availability with liveaboard
3) If availability is confirmed, we reserve on your name and send you an invoice
4) You make 100% payment via bank transfer or by card. We receive your payment and send it to liveaboard
5) Once payment is done, Once payment is done, resort sends a voucher and we resend it to you.

What are the available payment options?

– Bank transfer. We accept payment in USD, EUR, AUD. But in any case, the final amount will be converted to USD as resorts, guest houses and liveaboards accept payment in USD only
– Credit card (processing fee is 3.5%, we use Stripe)

Do you provide any extra discounts?

All available discounts we apply when making an offer and send you. No extra discounts are possible.

What is BB, HB, FB and AI?

– BB, bed and breakfast
– HB (or Half Board), breakfast and dinner (in most cases without any drinks, even a water)
– FB (or Full Board), breakfast, lunch and dinner (in most cases without any drinks, even a water)
– AI (or All Inclusive), breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (including selected alcoholic drinks), without excursions

What is your cancelation policy?

– Resorts. It depends on the resort. Each hotel has its own cancelation policy. In the request, we can provide you with that info.
– Guesthouses. A nonrefundable deposit will be charged upon booking.
– Liveaboards. Up to 100 days before arrival is free of charge (only bank and other applied fees will be charged)

What is the best local island to visit?

What is the best resort for families?

Most of the resorts in Maldives are family-friendly and have a kid’s club. Some of them have special offers for children like accommodation and meal are free. Check our resorts to get more info.

What is the best time to visit Maldives?

During high season, Dec – Apr, the weather is sunny, almost no rains, but rates are high as well.
During low season, May-Nov, the weather can be moody and raining. It depends how lucky you are.

What is the best local island with alive coral reef?

For corals its Feridhu, for fishes and animals – Omadhoo, Rasdhoo, Ukulhas, Thinadhoo
