We visited Movenpick Kuredhivaru for our anniversary, and every detail was amazing! The beauty, the resort team, food, villa--every experience exceeded our expectations. We stayed in an overwater villa, ocean view, and were grateful for an open view with no villas across from us. The villa was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and offered amazing views. We watched sharks, rays, turtles, and many fish right from our deck, and stargazed at night, enjoying several shooting stars. We appreciated access to the ocean from our villa, and cooled off in the pool and ocean several afternoons. Snorkeling at the house reef was more than we expected: so many colorful fish, blacktip sharks, starfish, and we even swam with an eagle ray. Raash and the team at the Dive Center made us feel safe and welcomed, with snorkeling and scuba diving. We enjoyed breakfast at Onu Marche daily, with so many delicious choices, wonderful juices, coffees, and impeccable service, all at a table on the beach. Bodumas was our top choice for dinner, although the themed buffets at Onu Marche were delicious, and not at all what a "resort buffet" is typically like. The buffet has live cooking stations, fresh food, friendly servers and attendants; again, above our expectations. I could go on and on about our experience here, but the team at Movenpick truly made it as wonderful as it was. Misha was our host, so patient with us, and took care of all of our reservations, inquiries, arrival and departure, and anything we needed, all with such care and detail. I would love to name every team member we met, because everyone was truly invested in the resort and the guests, and treated everyone with smiles and courtesy. Udaya, Toona, Rejena, Moohfaz, Saair, and our pancake/waffle station chef whose name I unfortunately do not have, all from Onu Marche were superb hosts! Wesley, one of our buggy drivers, just made our days with his smile. Afu at Bodumas enhanced every evening there with his careful and friendly service! Niu, photographer, made us look good with her skills, and she is just a beautiful person. Our housekeeper did a superb job. DJ Sanjeewa and the band entertained us nightly, as well as the talented salsa dancers who also offered lessons and tried to teach us to salsa: Roy, Joanna, Yan, and Vladimir! It felt like we were leaving family after eight days at Movenpick! We would not even consider another resort in the Maldives; so thankful for an unforgettable experience!
