Roundtrip Seaplane services (25-minute air transfer time per way), operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) only during daylight hours. To arrange Seaplane transfers, Your Outbound flight must arrive in the Maldives between 0600hrs and 15:45 and your Inbound flight from the Maldives must depart between 09:00hrs and 20:00hrs. If the flights operate outside of these times we would recommend booking a domestic flight to a nearby airport located in South Ari Atoll (See details below). Seaplane transfer is an exciting 25 minutes journey over beautiful pearly islands to Machchafushi Island Resort and Spa Maldives. Our Welcome Ambassadors will be delighted to assist with the transfers at Velana International Airport and the Seaplane terminal. The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 25kgs per person including hand luggage. The Carrier reserves the right to charge for excess baggage directly from the passengers.
