  • These aircraft (DHC-6 Twin Otter) are customized for a water landing, their flying hours are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of Maldives. Taking into consideration custom clearance, flying duration to the resort, and its return requirement to its base at Male airport, same-day transfers are guaranteed to all arriving guests, whose arrival time at Male airport is before 3.30 pm Maldives Standard Time. For departing guests, whose flight departs from Male after 9 am Maldives Standard Time.
  • The baggage allowance is 20kg and 5kg hand luggage. Any excess baggage is chargeable at a cost of US$5 per kg and payable at the airport.

    The location of Finolhu is absolutely stunning, unbelievably beautiful with its powdery white sandy and turquoise crystal clear water. The staff cater to all your needs and the service is of a very high standard as well. They clearly take great pride in their work and the resort and are genuinely concerned that you are enjoying your stay. The rooms are on the ocean, on the lagoon, or by the beach. Some of the rooms have a private pool. Set in a UNESCO Biosphere reserve. With direct sea or lagoon access, a private freshwater pool, and fab in-room amenities, your villa in Maldives island resorts is a place to thrill and chill. When it comes to dining options here guests can choose either to go all-inclusive, a half board, or a full board meal plan and also there is a possibility to go for an unlimited beverage package. The breakfast buffet is said to have a pretty good assortment of food, and fresh cinnamon doughnuts are worth trying. Relax and be pampered on chandelier-lit divans in one of 10 pastel-colored treatment huts, each celebrating an iconic diva of the 60s and 70s. The resort is just 30 minutes seaplane transfer from Malé International Airport. Otherwise, you can take a 15-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and then take a 20-minute speedboat ride to Finolhu which at some point could be less cost-effective.
